I'm new to all this... how do I add the zoom app to my dock?Windmill59

Hi Zoom Community, I am unable to join or start Zoom meetings from my desktop client (Windows OS). This started randomly, I've been using zoom on this same PC for years. I've tried uninstalling (via windows tool and via CleanZoom) multiple times, and reinstalling, no luck.  I met with an internal IT person at my company, and we checked my drivers and app versions. I can confirm that all drivers, firmware, BIOS, and application versions of my PC are up-to-date as well as my Zoom desktop client. Still no luck. It is noted that I've opened a Zoom support ticket (#12762305), haven't heard anything yet.  See below for GIF of what I'm seeing on my end.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a personal zoom account and one linked to my university. The university one has some of premium features I think but I'm not entirely sure since I cannot access it anymore. I had a group presentation that required recording. I was using zoom to record my segment.I think I got banned due to repeatedly starting meeting and ending them to convert batches of recordings in my attempts to get a decent recording for my project. At some point 2 or 3 hours ago, I could no longer log into my university zoom account. The theory that I got banned due to too many recordings being considered an abuse of the system was brought up by my siblings.  Please, I need to know how to fix this. I need that account for university-restricted classes.

We have three Zoom Rooms. Our front desk person does all the scheduling because the rooms are not always used for Zoom meetings. I've created the Rooms as resources in Google Workspace and have created a calendar for each room. I have made the front desk person a manager for all three calendars and everyone in the office is able to view them. We all have business accounts on the same Zoom account.  I would like to have the Room and the staff member in charge of the meeting to be the hosts. We don't want the front desk person's account to be the host and we don't want to use scheduling privileges.  What is the easiest way for us to schedule the Rooms? Thank you!

Hey, I can share my mac and ipad but cannot share on zoom. The error message was unable to connect to " Mae's Macbook Pro."  

I can't join zoom since a month ago, I always get this error code (I add pictures) I have deleted and installed zoom tons of times since then, for the M1 Apple Chip.  The last time I used it, I joined from an institutional account and when I tried to join from the personal one again, I couldn't.    I would really appreciate your help since I'm having my final teaching exams soon and I need to use zoom for that!!! Hi all,Is it possible within Zoom Pro to see a record of the internet connections for a meeting between two participants? Occasionally clients have poor internet connection which leads to a glitchy meeting and I'd like to be able to check my Zoom account to see whether it was my internet connection or theirs that caused the issue.I'm sure I remember seeing this feature somewhere but I'm struggling to find it, can anyone advise?Many thanks,Sally

When i join a meeting my camera found already open and i have no idea about it. Is there any solution to stop camera already?

I'm hosting a virtual event for 500 pax and I need breakout rooms and simultaneous interpretation.I used to use Zoom business licencee to do this. And now I just saw Zoom Event. Does Zoom Event support breakout rooms? I have already scheduled the Zoom meeting under a pro license and sent out invitations . If I buy Zoom Event license now, does it work with my meeting already scheduled? Thanks in advance!

If I set up a meeting (with 3 or more people) to join without host (with a licensed pro account), and the first person in the meeting is on a free/basic plan, will the 40 minute time restriction be applied, or does it keep the hosts' time?

Help please !!! Zoom support has been silent for a month now. My cloud is running out of space, I want to set a time limit for storing records in the cloud. I want to set the limitation for 1 year, but there is a problem. This cloud stores data for 2 years. The question is, if I set a storage limit of 1 year, will all records older than 1 year be deleted automatically?

So, my meeting was getting big, so I purchased a one-time $50 large-meeting add-on, to go to 500.  How can I tell if this was applied to my meeting, prior to folks trying to sign up and hitting a 100 person ceiling?

I will be attending a Zoom meeting for the first time. I have downloaded the Desktop Client, registered, browsed through a few tutorials and videos, attended a "Back to Basics" live training, and tried a test meeting. I know how to join a meeting,  but still have a few questions about attending one. The meeting is an informal family meeting, with several speakers, including myself. I will turn off mic and video at the start of the meeting, and turn them on before my turn comes. After speaking, I will turn them off again. Questions: - Is it possible to chat with just the host, and not with everyone? In case I have a technical issue. - I would like to view only what the host presents, and the other speakers, but not all the attendees. Can this be done by selecting the "Speaker View" option in "Gallery View"? Or is there another way? - I would like to continue to attend the meeting after my speech. How do I let the host know that I have finished my speec

I have met the requirements, i.e. having a Zoom version of 5.7.6. and a MacOS greater than 10.13. I am using the M1 chip. Still, I could not uncheck the option for I have a green screen. Please help!

If I change meeting settings for a new meeting, will the new settings affect a previously scheduled re-occurring meeting?

I'm currently running Zoom Client 5.8.3 (145). During a meeting when searching through participants the cursor focus constantly switches to the list itself rather than staying in the search box. This makes finding specific participants very difficult when spotlighting or verifying attendance. The search box loses focus when a new participant enters the meeting and appears to happen once I have entered a few letters in the search box. The issue has been present on Manjaro 21.1.6 (Arch Based) and MX Linux-21 (Debian Based). Hi All, We have a scenario. A User connected 2 times for the same zoom meeting session ( First time joined for 4 mins and dropped from the session then connected and available in the session for 5 minutes )  but SAP is receiving only one record ( Latest record with 5 mins ) . Is this possible to ZOOM to combine both records and send to SAP as single record( 9 minutes which 4 +5 ) if user join multiple times for the same session.Thanks,Hari

What if I closed a conference before saving a cloud recording? I can't find it in the cloud nor on my local storage. Can you restore it?

Does anyone else have a single line zoom number? I have so many questions. All the training and videos is geared toward multiline/users. I would love to connect with someone and figure out how this all works. Thanks in advance.

I un-clicked the passcode function for a big meeting and the link shortened. I had already sent the invitation with the longer link to some of the guests. If I now send out the shortened link will those with the shorter link and those with the longer link (which I believe contained the passcode?) both work? Or do I need to resend the shorter link to the original group as well? I'm hoping they will both work, but I need to be certain! Please help!! Thank you.

I'm now using a Zoom PRO plan and I would like to recheck on these points:PRO plan can host up to 100 participants onlyIf I want to host more, I have to purchase an add-on which is 300, 500 or 1000 participants type with different pricesFor the add-on, would it be automatically applied to all the existing scheduled meeting I created BEFORE buying the add-on? For example, I created a scheduled meeting "A" last week, for end of November. I purchase an add-on for 300 participants this week. Then for this meeting "A" will it be able to host 300 participants automatically after the purchase and all the access link and passcode set remains the same?Thank you in advance!
