Is there a way to mute or significantly lower the mics of everyone when the host is speaking? In our meetings, I'd like to be able to welcome new members when they join. The problem is we have members that keep talking. It takes while before for they are done. Sometimes the person that has joined gets discouraged and leaves.

Greetings! We are a church trying to host our services via Zoom.  Services start and end with music, and there is a lot of music during the service itself.  Therefore, it seems natural to us that "Original Sound for Musicians" should be able to be set as a standard meeting option in our meeting template.  However, it seems that Zoom doesn't have that option- at least I haven't found a way to do that. Yes, we can manually enable "Original Sound for Musicians" after the meeting is started, and that works perfectly fine.  However, we would like to eliminate that manual step because, too often, we've made the mistake of leaving it off - which means that users don't hear any music. I'd be most happy to hear that I've completely overlooked how to permanently set this feature in a meeting template.  (My wife tells me often that I'm blind when looking for things.)  Am I mistaken?  Does anyone have an

Hello all,I am Darshan Hiranandani, facing an issue with the Zoom client on Linux (Gentoo, using net-im/zoom-6.2.10.4983, although this has been a problem across several versions). I’m using a Focusrite Scarlett USB audio interface connected through ALSA, and while Zoom can detect the device, I am unable to get either input (microphone) or output (headphones) to work.Interestingly, every other audio program I use — like Ardour, Discord, video players, etc. — has no problem accessing and using the device for both playback and capture. The issue only seems to happen with Zoom.I have already tried turning off noise cancellation and adjusting the settings for "music," but nothing has resolved the issue.Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this, or how I can get Zoom to properly recognize and use the Focusrite Scarlett device for both input and output? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!Regards

When running the downloaded EXE file, the new computer says that installations are possible only through the Microsoft "store". Zoom is not there and the offered solution is not clear. How can I use Zoom on this computer?

I have a panelist presenting ongoing Webinars with us. When we reviewed her slides -- which included embedded videos -- with just the two of us in a Meeting, the audio/video synced up no problem. When we presented the actual Webinar on the day of, the audio played smoothly but the video was choppy and lagging. These were embedded video files, not embedded YouTube links. We are running a Webinar (I am Host, she is Panelist with co-host permission) and she is using a Mac (unsure which iOS). She's doing Advanced --> Share Portion of Screen (so she can still see her PPT Presenter View), and checking both Optimize Sound and Optimize for Video Sharing. We are recording the Webinar for asynchronous viewing. We have made sure both her Zoom and her PPT are fully updated. She is spot lit and keeps her camera on; my camera is off. Please help! 

Hello,I am wondering if Zoom has the capability to generate an attendance report with customized fields.To work around this limitation, I have been using online tools like Google Forms or Microsoft Forms to collect attendance information. These forms are shared with participants during the meeting, allowing them to provide their details. If anyone has suggestions or alternative solutions, I would love to hear them.Best regards,

I need to make some calls to get my new phone ironically after my one and only took a bath yesterday. I was hoping to get a temporary set up with zoom phone but how logical is this and will it work because I can't verify my current number with my fried phone. Thank you for any help!

My clients are not receiving the links on the day of the meeting, they are recieving the links the next day, and it does not happen to all clients just some .How do i fix this??

Unable to run Zoom Client 5.16 (64bit) on Windows 10 64bit. I have installed Zoom Client 5.16.0 - 5.16.5 trying both x86/x64, removed the clients using ZoomClean with a reboot in between. I'm having some issues with my Zoom App.  It started with not syncing select meetings (I use the Zoom plugin for Outlook) for weeks, completely hit or miss what would show up in my Upcoming Meetings tab on the app.  Randomly today, 3 meetings that never showed up finally did (yay!- don't know how or why).  However, I am unable to edit them from the app.  I need to disable auto-recording for this specific upcoming meeting, but have no way of editing the settings.   I've attached a screenshot as well.   thanks for any ideas anyone has! 

Hello, I was in a Zoom meeting earlier today on the Zoom app for iPhone, I was not the host, and I was wondering how to view participants in that past meeting, if I'm even able to?

Is there a way to pre-register for a meeting that creates an email confirming the meeting, but not including join information until a reminder is sent out?    I tried using manual approval to see the incoming registrants before they receive their confirmation email - but I'm looking to find a way to send them an acknowledgement of being registered and advising they will receive more information and Joining links etc. 24 hours before the start of the meeting.   Is this possible?   If yes, how?

Why can't I use my personal meeting ID when scheduling a recurring meeting?  Each time I select the "Recurring meeting" checkbox, the Meeting ID radio field disappears and a meeting ID is auto-generated. I don't want that. I want to create a recurring meeting with my personal meeting ID for every meeting. I don't think that's asking too much.

I meet with clients one to one for coaching over Zoom.  Is there a way for them to pay for the session before they enter the Zoom meeting?  I have a pro Zoom account.It looks like I could set this up through Zoom events?  Is this the best and simplest way?

I can ping google, opendns, cloudflare, from the web interface. I can not hit Zoom servers to provision. Half of my 62 phone provisioned, the other half can't. Any ideas on how resolve this

When I am going to get my Meeting recording, I'm seeing the speaker displayed in a way that their video covers the top right of the screen.At one point, my recording had them off to the side and the screen share was fully visible. How can I go back to that?In my settings,  I have all of the views set up to record. Once the speaker starts presenting, I spotlight them.

HI there, I finally researched how to get transcriptions of my meetings. The toggle is now on 🙂 However, is there a way to get transcriptions of previous meetings, before this setting was turned on? There's some juicy important things that I need transcriptions of. I hate to try another service IF we can make this happen here. Thanks 

Hi: I usually record meetings on my own PC, but recently recorded a meeting in the cloud. I was surprised to see that the recording was completely different! Is this because the "cloud" recording was done from a Mac instead of a PC? Or is there an inherent difference when recording in the cloud vs. on a local machine?   

Hello,Curious to see if anybody else faces this issue. Whenever I create a meeting with a randomly generated room, the moment somebody else accepts the outlook invite zoom deletes the meeting and I need to recover it from my trash can to put it back on my calendar.
