Hello, I have an issue during Zoom meetings. Whenever someone shares their screen and there's music playing (along with a singer), I can only hear the singer's voice but not the background music.I have already enabled "Original Sound" and tried various methods, including uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom. I also tried turning off the "Original Sound for Musicians" option, but the issue still persists.I would appreciate any help or solutions you can provide for this issue.

Hi, We organise online seminars where videos are being shared on screen and reviewed and commented by a professional . We have a ZoomWorkplace Pro Monthly plan and with a few members this works but as soon as the group is a little bit bigger the videos start lagging.  I am the host and I have excellent internet connection, the videos are stored locally (so not internet based) and I see the videos perfectly on my screen. However for many participants they are lagging behind which destroys the whole purpose of the seminar. One participant changed from a PC to an iPad and it worked better.  Has anyone experienced this before? How can we solve it? Our next seminar is in a few weeks and I am wondering if we need to look for another provider.  Thank you!       

I dont see any recent discussion on this topic so I will ask it again, apologies if i have overlooked a thread somewhere. Does Zoom support use of an external usb webcam when joining a zoom meeting from an Android device such as the Samsung Galaxy S9. If this is not currently supported, is there any chance it will be supported in the future? Thank you!

Hi,Does anyone know how to return a participant to their breakout room after they loose connection and have to rejoin the meeting? When I try to do it, the room they were in is not available as an option so I have to move them into a different room first and then move them back into their previous room. Surely there is an easier way of doing this.Thanks,Anna

Hello,I am a licensed Zoom host and use Zoom daily for teaching. Since the most recent update, the annotation tools have been reduced and this has made my work much more difficult:• The Text tool is no longer available in the annotation toolbar.• The colour options have been reduced from 16 colours down to only 4, and the white colour is missing completely.These features were essential for teaching — especially when annotating during lessons to highlight different answers, write in different colours for clarity, and use text boxes. Losing them has negatively affected both my teaching flow and the learning experience for my students.Please could you let me know:• If this change was intentional or a bug.• Whether Zoom plans to restore the full set of annotation tools (text + full colour palette).As a paying customer, I strongly request that these tools be reinstated, or that the same functionality is made available within the cla

My synagogue host zoom during the Jewish High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  Participants can hear everything except when the Rabbi blows the Shofer.  Has anyone had this problem and how they were able to resolve it?  Any help would be most appreciated.

Zoom Audio not working on Windows 10 I have tried every tutorial/guide on the internet and nothing is working! Please HelpNo audio from zoom while on earphones. Hello, In some of our meetings, we’ve set it up so the alternative host can start the meeting without our onsite support. If any issues come up, we’ll join as a co-host to assist. However, we’ve noticed that when we as the organizers are about to join, Zoom still shows the “Start” option, even if the meeting has already been started by the alternative host. In the Workplace app, the notification also says the meeting is “20 minutes past the scheduled time, please start it,” which can be confusing if another team member doesn’t realize the meeting is already running.It would be much clearer if the notification popped up as something like:“The alternative host has started the meeting. Join?”orSimply changing the “Start” button to “Join” once the meeting has already been started by the alternative host.This small adjustment would help avoid confusion for our team. Thank

When I connect my AirPods Pro 2 to my Windows laptop, they work fine, I hear audio in all apps, I hear the test tone when I change volume in the Windows audio mixer. The moment Zoom opens, they stop playing. I cannot hear a thing in Zoom, I cannot hear a thing anywhere else, the headphones are effectively muted. This persists even if I kill zoom. If I disconnect and reconnect my headphones, audio works again, until Zoom is opened.When this issue occurs, visual guides (meters) representing the audio playing in the system or Zoom app do indicate playback, but no audio is audible.This happens only with Zoom, other communication apps are fine, repro rate on this is 100%. I am connected to correct headphones, the audio device is unmuted in the system. When these headphones are used without Zoom app, they work as expected.

Zoom does not follow normal Windows conventions, when you select the X in the upper right corner of the program it does not close (exit) the program, it just reduces it to the back ground. This is the function of the - button just over from the X button. I realize that some user want to keep zoom running at all times and it is a benefit to those users, but there are also users that do not benefit from this behavior. I know I can right click on the icon in the task bar or tray and select exit, but why should I have to do that. It is Windows convention that the - button reduces the program and the X key closes (exits) the program. This is virus like activity by zoom.  Please get with the program and give us an option in the settings so uses can choose this action of they want it, even make it the default action. Let those that do not want it the ability to have Zoom act like a normal Windows program. 

I'm using Zoom version 5.7.5 (939), on laptop with AMD Ryzen 3 4300U chipset.Everytime I share audio from my laptop, both audio sharing only or from presentation, participants will hear cracked sound (buzzy noise). The shared audio sound quality is very bad.I did uninstall, restart, then reinstall, yet the problem is still persist.I also have the problem of participants VDO may freeze from time to time as well.I never have these problems on the previous update.How should I fix these problem?Thank you in advance for your supports 🙂

When hosting a meeting, my Waiting Room disappears mid-meeting and I don 't get notifications and I can't see people waiting (I know they are in "a" waiting room because they either text another participant or put it in Meetup chat). I can't bring up a waiting room, and they don't seem to be able to get in even if I've disabled the waiting room. I haven't limited the number of participants (there would be twenty at most) and I have a paid membership. Is something timing out at a certain time after the start time?

We are going to build one app in zoom marketplace which will run in-client app when meeting is going on. our app is developed in reactjs(frontend) and python (backend) and llm model (AWS) which detect the deepfake detection. now we don’t have any authorization in our app, we are going to use zoom app oAuth for same.so current flow is like that, when user install our app, it redirect to oauth URL which we have mentioned frontend url and it send ‘code’ param and its value. now this all process happnes in the browser either chrome or firefox now we wanted this ‘code’ value in our app, it means that ‘in-client’ app, so from the app we can send this code to backend using api and they can generate access and refresh token based on the code received.Currently problem is like that, code generated but it all in chrome (external browser) while we are calling API of backend from our in-client app. so how can we fix this issue or what workflow should to follow?

The automatic hand-lowering feature disrupts the queueing process our large Fellowship uses and disrupts the flow of the meeting. This problem is universally disliked by the many thousands of members who attend our world-wide meetings. Please make it optional at the host or meeting level settings.  Thank you.

We contracted with a funeral home recently to stream & record a funeral service, via Zoom, and to save it to the cloud. Apparently the livestream worked fine; however, the funeral home has not been able to find the recording anywhere. (I don't think they're particularly computer-literate, to be frank.) Is there any way to find and retrieve the file directly, as the funeral home has apparently given up trying? It's very important to the family members who weren't able to attend... Within the past month or so, whenever I schedule a meeting and add invitees, they do not receive the email. I have to send a separate email with a Zoom link that I copied from the original. How do I fix this? It is very frustrating that people are not receiving the emails for the meeting. Please help! Thanks, Chris

I read about virtual backgrounds. In the page I read first, it said I can use a virtual background instead of a static image. The virtual background isn't working because all I see is my background and not myself. Can I instead get Zoom to use a picture on my computer? If so, how do I do that? I can only see how to add a virtual background.  Or, why can I see only the virtual background and not myself via my camera? I really want to mask what is behind me. Thanks. Duncan

Hello. When I open my application, it stays on the "connecting screen" and I cannot load the application. Sometimes I am able to get to the meeting code part by launching the application through the browser, but it stays connecting and then says failed to connect and gives the error code "5003." I use Linux Mint and Mullvad VPN. Thank you!

. When I open my Zoom meeting on my computer it goes onto my phone automatically And my video disappears on my computer. Not what I want. 

My old email shut down, so I deleted that account with Zoom and logged out. Then I opened a new account with my new email address and logged in on the new account. When I tried to start a new meeting, I get an error message, "Can't connect to the account [and it names my old account that I deleted and logged out of]." I'm not trying to connect with that old account; I deleted it. So I'm stuck in this computer death loop. I've checked my account settings, and it's the new address, not the old one. The "from" email (to start a new meeting) is the new one. And yet I keep getting stopped by "can't connect to [the old account]." So frustrating, and Zoom won't give me any human support because I'm a free user; the AI support for something like this is totally worthless.I'm assuming there's something in the guts that is finding and dredging up the old account, but I can't get into the guts. I've deleted all my cookies on my computer. And yet still the old account is in the way.

I have a meeting with more than 120 users breaking into 4 rooms (30 members in each room), can I record these room in Full HD, does any one know how to do it?

I was using Zoom for a long time and annotate tool was there when someone else was sharing screen I was able to draw on it - now there is no option for annotate - why is that? I've even update to the newest version, everybody uses Zoom app and not the browser and I ve annotates enabled in my account.. There is no Annotate in drop down menu View options if someone is sharing their screen, I cannot draw on it. But the function appears when someone share whiteboard or an image..
