Question

second camera very blurry on the other side

Hello,

I'm having some troubles with Zoom. For Zoom meetings, we use two cameras on our laptop: one built-in and one Logitech. The inbuilt camera functions properly, but the second camera is quite fuzzy when switching. I tried it on Microsoft Teams, and it works well there. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Hi @Faadi,

I’m sorry for the late response. If the built-in camera is clear but the Logitech gets fuzzy only in Zoom (and looks fine in Teams), try these Zoom-specific checks:

  1. Pick the Logitech camera explicitly in Zoom
  • In a meeting, click the ^ next to Start/Stop Video
  • Select the Logitech camera (or go to Video Settings and choose it from the camera drop-down)
  1. Toggle HD in Zoom Video settings
  • Zoom desktop app: Settings > Video
  • Turn HD on (or off) and test again. HD can change how Zoom processes the camera feed and can also be impacted by CPU/bandwidth.
  1. Follow Zoom’s video troubleshooting steps

If it’s still fuzzy after that: what OS are you on (Windows or macOS), and does the Logitech look fuzzy in Zoom’s “Video preview” (Settings > Video) even before joining a meeting?

Thank you for joining Zoom Community!
