Solved

Hey Zoom team,I recently moved into this residence and am now using this IP address. I am a disabled student who relies on Zoom daily for both work and school. I have never used my email with Zoom before—this was my first attempt to sign up, and I was unexpectedly blocked before the registration process was even completed. I have not engaged in any misconduct, and it is unfair for my access to be restricted without cause. I respectfully request that you review and clear any restrictions associated with this IP so I can access Zoom immediately, as my education and livelihood depend on it. I just moved into this house and this is now my home internet. I’m a disabled student, and I rely on Zoom every single day for school and work—it’s literally how I survive right now.The issue? I just signed up, never even used Zoom with this email before, and I’m being blocked before I can even get started. That’s not just unfair—it’s kinda wild. I haven’t done anything wrong. If this IP address ha

Hi there, I am writing to inquire about old recordings not being displayed during a period when we had a paid membership. These videos hold significant importance, as they contain irreplaceable content. Given their value, I am understandably concerned about their apparent disappearance. Your guidance and support in retrieving these videos would be immensely appreciated, as it would not only resolve my current concern but also reinforce my trust in Zoom as a reliable platform.

Hi! I’m wondering why my client is getting a subscription receipt sent to her work email when she signed up with a different email on Zoom. For example, she registered with legal at XYZ (dot) com, but the subscription notification showed up at myname at XYZ (dot) com. I’d really appreciate it if someone from the community could help explain this. Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to run a report from our account.  I need the report to show all participants in the meeting and who shared their screen during the meeting.  When I'm in reports and select the correct meeting, there is an option to pull the data I want to see.  One of the options is screen sharing.  I select this option, generate the report, and the data for screen sharing doesn't pull to the report.  We were Zoom Bombed, and I'd like to see if I can discover who did it.

Before my Zoom subscription was canceled near the end, there was a discount right before it was canceled, but it was gone before I could use it. I would like to continue the subscription using the same pro upgrade and discount on the account I have canceled now. thank you

Hello, I have a problem that really, really disturbes me so much:Sharing part of my screen to hide menus not important for viewers work but why is the upper line of green frame so thick? - It is so thick that it hides a complete line of menu of my programs for myself (see screenshot attached e.g. the address bar) and removing only works when using the "sharing whole desktop" mode.Unfortunately the sharing options "whole desktop or selected applications or selecting several apps with CTRL key" do not fit to my needs. I often want to share more than one application similar but without their menus and task bar nevertheless I have to be able to see the menus myself without limiting the content area. It should be easy to add an option to reduce thickness of frame also when using the "sharing portion of screen" mode. Please help me or do that 🙂

Earlier this week Zoom upgraded my Windows 11 app to the Zoom Workspace app, then updated the upgrade. Currently running Version: 6.0.3 (37634). Before all this, there was a tab or something I could use to see my upcoming meetings. I could go to a scheduled meeting, make a copy of the invitation, and distribute it. How do I do that now? I don't see a Meetings tab. I see a Calendar, but that links to my Google Calendar which shows all my appointments, most of which are not Zoom meetings. Not ideal, but OK, I guess I can scroll until I find the meeting, and when I do that and open it up, there's an invitation there, but it doesn't include THE DATE AND TIME. You have to click on the hamburger menu and choose Copy Invite to get this info in the way that it took about 3 clicks to get it last week. Is there still a way to see my upcoming meetings and easily copy the invite, or what am I missing?

Dear Team,I am getting no help in resolveing the issue mentions in the subject heading. I have been making endless enquiries without success. As a paying member using Zoom professionally, I would expect better so kindly help me fix this or fix it from your end. Thank you. Kind regards,Roddy

I am currently unable to receive the SMS verification code when trying to log in, and the backup security code has expired, which has made it impossible for me to access my account. I would appreciate it if you could provide a solution.

Our Contact Center team is wondering if we can make entering notes required for certain disposition codes.  One example would be that we have a disposition code that says call was transferred to the Executive Director.  The CC Manager would like to require a reason given for transferring calls to the Executive Director.  The manager has also asked if those notes could be included in one of the reports that they run as currently they do not see notes in any of the reports.

Hi folks,I'm looking at this article and I still have a couple of questions on Zoom simulive webinars.1. Can we run multiple at once from the same Zoom account? We have 'normal' webinars running at the same time. Is it possible to have multiple simulive or live webinars at once?2. Is it possible to run one without any chat support? Or to have a way where we are notified internally if there's a question in the chat (Like in eWebinar)Thanks,Cliona

The shortcut for Clips clashes with the Adobe programmes. How can I turn it off? I didn't set it up but it must be on automatically. I asked the useless Chat Bot but the replies made no sense and I just got an error code. Some human assistance would be very welcome!

Hi! Is there a way to set up a login password for SSO accounts? Usually SSO accounts get signed in automatically using their google email. Appreciate your help!

Even when in settings and just viewing my self video, getting 3 second. When I just use camera in windows, no lag. Have tried updating and restarting the app and restarting device. How do i remove the lag?

I am a freelance travel writer, US based but taking multiple trips yearly to the Caribbean where I do much of my work. I use a Skype number for many calls back to the US and Canada but M/soft is dumping Skype in May. I do not regard M/soft as a company to trust with "Teams" which strikes me as far too complicated as a Skype replacement. I understand I can port (move) my Skype number so it is used in Zoom Phone. I want to be able to make and receive VOIP calls from a Zoom Phone app on my laptop which also runs on my cell phone. I do not often make calls using this number to anywhere other than the USA and Canada. Whatsapp is not practical for this use since so many people I call in the US don't have it. WHAT DO READERS HERE THINK OF USING ZOOM AS A SKYPE REPLACEMENT? This is for me only, I'm on the phone a lot every day.  IS IT A SIMPLE, SEAMLESS TRANSITION? Which Zoom Phone level would be best? THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING!

Hello, When i record my events (>7 hours), it is split in 2 files (06:34:03 + 40:52) instead of one.Do you know why ? And is it possible to do something to have only one file ? Because, some of my old events recordings are also > 7h but are in only one file video so i do not understand... Thank you for your help. David

Hi there,  I have been using Zoom for quite some time. Suddenly last week, when I answer any call, there is a notification that "This call is being transcribed." It happens a second time if I am doing a warm transfer. It also happens for the other person if I do a direct transfer.

Hello, we made a change to our payment method during the month of June, and the June invoice is unpaid. This invoice is from May 14th to June 13th (but it's not the same price as the previous monthly invoices). I also see that a July invoice (from July 7th to 13th) has been generated, which I don't understand. Can you explain this to me?

Error with pass code , will not let people into my zoom meeting!!!

Dear Zoom Community,Good day! We would like to ask for a consultation regarding our Zoom Room setup. For context, we are trying to eliminate or at least minimize cross-talking (a ducking effect) when far-end and local audio are talking simultaneously. The actual scenario is that the local audio is being suppressed when the far-end and local will talk at the same time (being observed with a third party who is listening for both local and far-end speakers). This audio experience is present when using two distinct DSPs; we remove the audio processing in the microphone and DSP (AEC, AGC EQ, etc.), along with the removal of poly’s “noiseblock ai” to isolate which device is processing the ducking/suppression and we felt like there is processing happening in Zoom Room even though we disable (‘off’) noise suppression. In the article I read, there is a note there saying “there is a basic noise suppression feature in the background that cannot be disabled.” Is there a way we can set this sett

Just had a very strange and show-stopping bug in Zoom Webinar.Summary: Screen sharing refused to share audio playback, even when "share audio" was absolutely checked. Details: In practice session, checked screenshare to make sure tech was set. Played fullscreen video on second monitor through VLC. Shared full second monitor, not application. Zoom settings from the web portal included the new "Enable HD video for screen shared video." Both checkboxes from the screen share menu were checked - share audio and optimize for video clip. Everything worked fine, video looked and sounded good to the other panelists. We took a break for 10 minutes until we were ready to broadcast, and I ended the screenshare. After a 5 minute intro, I popped up screenshare, made sure boxes were checked, and started the video. We immediately started getting comments that nobody could hear audio. I checked the zoom share menu, and the little speaker icon that means "audio is being shared" was checked. I stopp

I cannot connect to Zoom on my iPad Air Gen 5. When I start the app does not show the normal start up screen with New Meeting, Join, Schedule and Share Screen. When I try to sign in I recite every the message “Cannot sign in, please check your network connection.” I have reset my iPad and uninstalled/reinstalled the Zoom Client app with no success. I noticed the Zoom app is not listed under iOS settings under Privacy Microphone or Camera so I cannot give access to them for Zoom. Zoom works fine on my iPhone 13 Max Pro and Zoom shows under its Settings for Microphone and Camera. Is Zoom not installing properly?

Hi everyone,   Does anyone know the maximum Zoom Events event duration. I do not mean the maximum amount of time of a meeting or webinar session. I mean the maximum of the entire event. Our company was thinking of doing a month long event but we were not sure if that was possible. We will only have one or two sessions each day. The longest event I have done so far is 3 days so I was not sure and I cannot find it in the documentation.    Thanks for any help you can provide.  Andrew

Hello, We recently applied for the Zoom for NGOs program to receive the 50% discount, and our application was approved. I was instructed to follow a link to complete the purchase. However, when I switched the subscription from an annual plan to a monthly plan, the coupon became unusable, showing the message: "You are not eligible to use this coupon."I submitted a support ticket regarding this issue two days ago, but I have not yet received a response. Given our upcoming event, we are in urgent need of activating the Zoom plan as soon as possible. Could you please expedite the resolution of this issue or advise on how we can proceed to apply the NGO discount to a monthly subscription?

Hi! Since 6.4.10.2027, and still on 6.4.13.2309, settings' screens are broken on the layout: they show half the settings like shown at https://pasteboard.co/eP6kL7lnJKmp.png
