I’ve received notification from zoom for permission to a video.  I’ve never had to grant permission when I provide the link with the password.  The link and password will not allow access to the video.  Any suggestions?

For some reason I can’t share my screen even if I am host and also I am on a Malden public schools oh yeah it is a Chromebook PLS HELP😭

During Covid, I built an assistive device which the device being used for Zoom meetings sees as a keyboard.It has buttons on it that allow for very quick and easy access to two functions, Mic Mute, and Raising your Hand. It works very well on Windows, though I have not had a user using Mac to test it on that platform.I inquired about this first question in 2021 or so, and I was told it was actually being worked on. I understand why keyboard shortcuts for toggling Mute and the Hand are used, as the user most of the time can see the indicators on screen. Assistive devices, though would work so much better if there was separate keys for Muting, and Unmuting, as well as Raising the hand, and Lowering the hand. I would never suggest removing the current keys, but perhaps keys that perform these functions could be added? I find the live transcipt feature very useful during our calls. I don't usually make an audio recording of calls. But when the conversation is finished, I usually have to wait until everybody has signed out and then shuffle about to find the transcript,  then open it, then view it in folder and then save it in a relevant directory on my computer.  If I exit the call myself as the host, there does not seem to be way to find the transcript.  My method seems clumsy and wasteful. Is there a better/faster way to do this and can I do it after the call is completed.  TIA GB

We are a small non-profit with a Zoom Pro account that we share amongst different people.  That is, we have a number of different meetings all owned by the same Zoom account, but  different people run them and all those people have a need to log into Zoom using our one Zoom Pro account in order to run the meeting as Host..    Let's say that the one Zoom account is "***********" and note that one person only can log into that email. Today, for the first time, someone got the message, "We detected an unusual sign-in from a device or location you don't usually use. If this was you, enter the code below to sign in to Zoom"  and, of course, Zoom sent the code to *********** but the person running the meeting was not the person who has access to the email! You see the problem.  How can w

 HiRunning MacPro here and trying to output audio to a different sound device.  I have several aggregate devices that I set up for different scenarios.  The are all hosted by the same 32ch interface.  This particular set up is supposed to take audio out on ch 15-16 but instead, It keeps playing it on channels 1 & 2.    Is it because Zoom does not recognize aggregate devices?  It plays it on first two channels of the default interface even though in preferences is chosen an aggregate device. I hope you understand what am saying 🙂 Any ideas? Thanks 🙂   

How do I download a meeting chat after the meeting has ended and session closed?

I do not want this window to appear ever. We use Zoom and open the meetings from our calendar, we don’t use or need any other management capabilities. This window is constantly opening, how can I make it go away? Do not want this window to appear, how can I suppress it?

Hello, Since my last update, my background has been blurred on my MacBook Air (Ventura 13.6.9). I am using Zoom workplace version 6.3.5, but I have had this issue on the previous Zoom update as well. No virtual backgrounds are enabled or any other effects. I do not have this issue with Zoom work place on my i phone or my i pad. I have read the threads about the Face Time camera settings being the issue, but it works fine on my phone and I pad, so I assume this isn't the issue....

The automatic input level adjustment does not work when Original Sound for Musicians is enabled with High Fidelity music mode checked.Environment: Windows 11, latest Zoom desktop client. Reproduced on three different laptops (Lenovo, Dell, etc.) - same behavior on all.Steps to reproduce:1. Enable Original Sound for Musicians2. Check "High fidelity music mode"3. Open Settings > Audio > Test Speaker & Microphone4. Speak quietly, then loudlyExpected: Input level adjusts automatically to normalize volume.Actual: Input level is stuck at a fixed position regardless of voice volume.Switching back to standard mode (noise removal) - the automatic gain control works correctly, the level indicator moves and adjusts as expected.This is 100% reproducible across all three machines. Hi All,I work for an MSP and recently it was brought to our attention that Zoom Workplace itself forces the device to perform a restart after we deploy an update remotely. This happens even when using parameters that are meant for MSI packages (for example /norestart). Has anyone found a way to prevent the update from forcing the device to restart?Please advise.  Thanks.

I just got a new computer, Windows 11 and cannot switch off the background noise suppression in audio settings. This means that when I use a meditation gong for group meetings, the gong cannot be heard. I tried music settings, original sound etc, but nothing works.   Plus I can only find audio settings when I am in a meeting, not when I am just on my own profile. Perhaps this is normal, but I have been trying to change the settings when in a meeting context. Any help appreciated. I saw that other users have had this problem too.

I recently installed zoom workplace 6.6.11 onto my desktop computer running kubuntu 24.04 LTS.  I installed from the ubuntu repositories and it seems to have installed correctly.  I can start the zoom app from my applications menu.  I can click on join a meeting and I get a place to enter a meeting ID.  I have no meeting to join at the moment, but so far so good.  It appears that zoom workplace works.I wanted to do a test meeting, so I went to zoom.us/test.  I clicked on join and a window pops up:Pop-upThen click on Choose Application andI tried the System Handler, the ZoomLauncher, and zoom, but nothing happens. Initially the only

In the past, my breakout rooms had a button called "Ask for Help," which allowed students in the breakout room to request that I come see them.  That button is no longer appearing in my break out rooms.  How do I get that function back?  Thank you!  

If an individual uses a Zoom link to register to attend a session on Zoom. Does the individual use the same link to access the scheduled session that he used to register? Or will he receive a separate Zoom link for the session itself? 

Hola, Tengo un inconveniente:Estaba utilizando zoom desde una pc de escritorio que me permitia utilizar mi Avatar. Y lo dejé puesto. Luego la pc se me rompio y ahora me conecto desde una pc que no me permite usar avatars, y no me deja sacarlo. Lo tengo puesto permanente. Nisiquiera me habilita la solapa de "Avatares" como para desactivarlo. Me dedico a dar clases y solicito una solucion, alguien podria ayudarme paso a paso por favor? Muchas gracias

As host, I start an attendance poll before others join. When participants join, they are presented with the poll. This works for most devices. However on some iPads and iPhones, they see a small message that says "The host has started a poll" which stays on their screen for about 2 seconds. They do not see the poll.I have thoroughly tested using the latest updates.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a setting that needs to be changed on the participants device? 

Buenos días, En nuestras reuniones hacemos crear grupos de sala reducidas, entonces en cada grupo reducido nos gustaría que tuvieran una pizarra de Zoom para que realizarán el trabajo. ¿Es se puede realizar? Lo hemos probado y hemos creado tantas pizarras como grupos y cuando compartimos un pizarra en una sala, al salir de deja de compartir la pizarra y ya no se puede seguir utilizándolo.Gracias!
