Dear Zoom Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to formally request guidance on the possibility of changing our default meeting recording location from Zoom Cloud to Vimeo exclusively. As our team already uses Vimeo as our primary platform for video storage, distribution, and post‑production, we would like to bypass Zoom’s cloud storage entirely and have all recordings saved directly to our Vimeo account. Our goals are: To discontinue the use of Zoom Cloud for recording storage. To have all meeting recordings stored solely on Vimeo moving forward. To understand if it is technically possible to set Vimeo as the direct destination for recordings—without first saving them on Zoom Cloud. If this setup is not currently supported, we would appreciate any available alternatives—such as immediate post-processing transfer to Vimeo followed by automated deletio

Hi!  I’ve just upgraded to Zoom Client 7.0.0 (1666). The search bar on the top now pop up a window that is different from the app and where I cannot type anything inside. There’s an input for the search, latest searches, results divided by type. Only the X to close the windows works.

My company provides hybrid and virtual event production solutions that integrate the Zoom Meeting SDK. We use the SDK's live transcription feature to provide live captioning for webcast audiences.We've see that Portuguese is still not available as a supported language in the Meetng SDK's transcription implementation — despite the fact that Portuguese is supported in Zoom's native client (both for automated captions and as a default language in the interpretation feature). This issue has been brought up before, but I have not seen a response from Zoom.This creates a real business problem for us. Portuguese is the 6th most spoken language in the world and the primary language of Brazil, one of the largest and most active corporate events markets globally. After the update, my annotations don’t show correctly. They only show if I’m on the zoom tab. Before, I could open the tab I was sharing and hit the annotate button. Now that doesn’t work. Also, when I share my screen, I can no longer see my student’s video. This only happened after the update. I have been using Zoom for years, but this will greatly effect the efficiency of my tutoring business. I have to continue to switch tabs to zoom in/out and scroll down the page I want to annotate on because the annotation only shows on the zoom tab.

I have the newest zoom update (5.11.0), and I really need to switch to dark mode because light mode is very straining to the eyes, especially with a huge iMac screen close to my face. however, the "dark" option is not available. in fact, the "theme" category is nowhere to be found in my settings on general in zoom.  where can I enable dark mode here in this?I use macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. pls, I need a quick answer to this, or i'll probably go blind after some time. 

My PC restarts at irregular intervals during a Zoom meeting. I assume it just shuts down and restarts, but there is no blue screen.Has anyone else experienced this problem?Both Windows and Zoom are up to date with the latest updates.

I use zoom for my office (https://onemetrik.com/), and for some reason, every new week starts and my virtual background goes away. i again have to add a custom virtual background.

I have a question about Zoom meetings. 

I am trying to attend a Zoom meeting using my web browser, Librewolf.  This web browser is very similar to Firefox.  So, whatever troubleshooting steps are available for Firefox should work here.I am able to join the meeting and see the other person in the meeting.But, after a few seconds, I get this messageSomething went wrong. Please close your browser try again.When I tried again, the same thing happened.

When did hosts stop being able to assign directly from the waiting room to a breakout room? The new Zoom Workplace Application offered an amazing feature that allowed Host and Cohosts to view the waiting room, assign the participant to a breakout room and admit. The participant would go directly to the Breakout Room and bypass the main room. (Referenced in the “2 new features you might have missed” Article) My coworkers and I have noticed one by one we are losing that functionality. Can this be fixed?

I chair weekly zoom meetings, Participants raised hands have always displayed in chronological order in both participants list and gallery….UNTIL - i purchased a new Microsoft Surface computer. Suddenly “raised hands” now display in random order in both participants list and gallery. I can’t find any setting to fix this. Any suggestions? Many thanks. Jean

How do you log in through your own zoom account as a cohost in another persons room?

okhere it isMy zoom meetings crash randomly for no apparent reason. The camera also turns off at will. I had no problems with Zoom for two years and now it is making my life a misery. I have reinstalled.I have updated.I have cleared the cache.I have installed the 64 bit versionI have checked the drivers.I have run all necessary updates on my PC. There is nothing left to do apart from cry.  PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP?

The Auto-Generated Closed captions are a very useful tool on meetings, and I know that we have the ability to save the transcripts. I would like to see an option to automatically save the transcript of meetings, differentiated based on whether I am a participant or host. Or at least a prompt. As it currently stands if I forget to save the transcript before I leave a meeting there is no way to recover it.  Tyler

ZOOM error code 5003   network errorI have been dealing with “can not connect network error 5003 for a year or more. It takes me multiple tries to log in successfully. Sometimes I get in within 5 mins of trying; sometimes it’s 15 mins.  I have reinstalled it many times. Today, I got fed up and did a lot of research. Too much to type it all here, so I will just give you what worked for me.  First, I uninstalled Zoom. Then I asked Google AI this question. “When I type zoom.com  in the address bar, Zoom comes on for a split second, then states 'site can’t be reached, error 5003. ' What could be wrong?  Try it, you’ll get a long list of things to do and to check. I have downloaded the windows version. When I tried to schedule a meeting the time format is in US mode. When I try to switch to the format I like, I am connected to myaccount page on the web. There the format is the preferred one.Using the settings on the windows app it directs me back to the zoom.us settings page. What can I do to have the same format in all platforms I am using my account? Thanks

Crashes during screen share. Only happening today. Both before and after current update installed. Anyone have a solution?

I recently upgraded to a pro account so that I could do in meeting polling. I created a poll outside my meeting which is already scheduled, but when I enter the meeting, there is no option to launch a poll. The icons at the bottom do not include polling, and when I click the more button, it only has livestreaming options. I cannot launch an existing poll nor can I create a new one. I have read and tried everything I can find int he zoom help files. been trying since yesterday.

With the old Zoom UI clicking the video or audio settings opened a  new window with all the settings including the, “General” tab. This was very easy to navigate. Now if I click on Videoo settings a side panel opens which resizes my Zoom window on the screen. After i close options, I have to move and resize the window again. I find this very difficult to use. Also, the “General” option is missing. How can i revert back to the old UI where all the settings including the “General” tab could be easily accessed as a floating window? Kind regardsChris

Hi,I have a problem with the video quality of the Zoom meeting I have a pro version of Zoom. In the setting, I have enabled Group HD video and still, I´m receiving/sending only 320 x 180/640 x 360 resolution.  Video quality is like from 15 years ago, not even HD. Am I doing something wrong or is this quality normal?Internet is not the problem my internet is download speed is  Mbps 100, upload speed is Mbps 78. Laptops are connected on the same network and still have the same quality.
