Can not connect to network, network error code 5003 Yeah! I finally found the problem!!
ZOOM error code 5003 network error
I have been dealing with “can not connect network error 5003 for a year or more. It takes me multiple tries to log in successfully. Sometimes I get in within 5 mins of trying; sometimes it’s 15 mins. I have reinstalled it many times. Today, I got fed up and did a lot of research. Too much to type it all here, so I will just give you what worked for me. First, I uninstalled Zoom. Then I asked Google AI this question. “When I type zoom.com in the address bar, Zoom comes on for a split second, then states 'site can’t be reached, error 5003. ' What could be wrong?
Try it, you’ll get a long list of things to do and to check. I did all of it, and it was helpful, but not completely done yet. I don’t know what version of Zoom I have, but it’s the latest Workplace as of 3/26/2026
Then I looked closer at the virus software, maybe blocking things.
The video below was also helpful; I followed what it said, and it was very easy.

Another tip I found was to check for installed network management tools like Killer Network, SmartByte or Proset/wireless, which are known to override manual DNS. I found that my machine (Dell) had preinstalled “Killer Ethernet Performance Drive Suite”. I asked Google if I could remove that, and it said, “Yes, please do that, it is safe to remove and causes your issue with Zoom”. So I found it in the control panel under “uninstall programs” and blew it off, and Badda-Boom-Badda-Bing, everything with Zoom worked fast and perfectly after I reinstalled Zoom. I Am so very happy now. You will be too. Let me know how this all worked for you.
