Annotation not showing on shared screen anymore

After the update, my annotations don’t show correctly. They only show if I’m on the zoom tab. Before, I could open the tab I was sharing and hit the annotate button. Now that doesn’t work. Also, when I share my screen, I can no longer see my student’s video. This only happened after the update. I have been using Zoom for years, but this will greatly effect the efficiency of my tutoring business. I have to continue to switch tabs to zoom in/out and scroll down the page I want to annotate on because the annotation only shows on the zoom tab.

I am not aware of any issues with share screen. It does sound like you are having problems organising all your windows to share and see your student.

When you screen share you will need to click on the annotate button from the floating toolbar. And the show meeting button next to it will help you see the zoom controls and find your student video.

Hello, I’m experiencing the same problems as the original poster and have not been able to find a solution despite the responded suggestions. It’s impossible to annotate and see my students’ screens at the same time since the latest Zoom update.

Hello, I’m experiencing the exact same problems as the origina poster sincee the last Zoom update. I cannt screen share and annotate at the same time anymore. The annotate baar only appears on the main Zoom screen and not the one being shared.
