Webinars

During meetings hosted by me I can hear all participants except one. She can hear me, the other participants can hear her as her microphone is turned on, It's only me who cannot hear her. This is not happening at every meeting but quite often. Obviously my audio works as I host many meetings a day and I have this problem with just one participant. Does anybody have any suggestions?  

Zoom has removed the webinar service from my account (despite having an active license), and I had active webinars accepting registrations. What will happen to those events and to the people who registered for them and how do I get this fixed so that we can run our webinars. 

Our webinar URLs that we share on socials do not generate a link preview with the webinar topic text or banner image. Seems like a pretty core piece of functionality.  I've looked into the issue and it seems that there's a problem with the robot.txt file associated with the zoom domain that we have no access to.  Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to fix the issue? It's unclear why this happens and what triggers the issue, but I have encountered the problem several times in the last few months. 

The org I work for recently completed a multi-day online conference using Zoom webinars, and the entire conference was recorded to cloud. There was also Spanish and ASL interpretation for the entire conference. As I have been working with the various recording files, I have found that the Spanish interpretation audio is consistently out of sync with the video files. This is occurs even if I give a generous lead gap for the start of the Spanish audio... the interpretation ends several minutes before the video and falls further out of sync (ahead of) the video as it gets longer. I have discovered that I can approximately correct this discrepancy if I slow-down the interpretation audio by around 5% (playback at 95% speed). The audio at 95% also sounds more natural, which makes me think that this discrepancy is an artifact of Zoom's audio compression. Has anyone else encountered this discrepancy in their interpreted audio in Zoom

Hey Zoom team, We have started to use Zoom simulive for running regular trainings as part of our scaled customer onboarding programme (All of these were live previously). We always have moderators proactively sharing information in the chat as well as answering questions in the Q&A but we have found that the experience for the user is a lot less personable before given that the moderator cannot be seen on camera also.Is this something that you are planning to implement for simulive? It's a major blocker for us. I understand that it's possible to do the live Q&A afterwards but without being able to see the moderators during the session there has been some accusations that it is not even real people in the chat and that they are AI bots. We want to make the experience more personable.Thanks,Cliona

I'm working with an account that hosts webinars. When I log in on the browser, and then try to launch the webinar, the browser forces me to use the desktop app. There's no way around it - I'm always redirected to the desktop app. When I'm in the app, I can't find a list of the webinars to join directly from the app. It's just a weird experience to have to log in on the browser to find the link to join, and then get redirected to the app. I'd love to be able to start in the app, or stay in the browser. User error? Is there something I'm missing?

I want to make sure the panelists cannot see any attendee names, as well as the attendees not be able to see the names of others.  I also want to make sure that the Q&A and Chat all names are anonymous. In other webinar platforms there is an option to force all names to anonymized. Is this possible in zoom webinars? If so how? Thank you

I installed Zoom for Lightning App in Salesforce. Object is 'Zoom Webinar' Lightning Page, 'Passcode' Field equals 0sBRzP7DkqUlUtikpBK0BR84V0BkWK0HEvL5tgaw3s4= There is a "Zoom Webinar Passcode Edit" Button, returns UI with decoded passcode, (i.e., above equals 347786). Where can I access the encrypted key to decode the passcode for ZVC__Zoom_Webinar__c Object ZVC__Passcode__c text field?    

Is there a way to remove or replace the Zoom logo that appears in the Webinar registration email? Thank you

I forgot to click the ”Include email address in attendee report“ in the zoom webinar setup. But I'm in need of the email address for the internal records.Is there any way to get the attendees' addresses of a finished zoom webinar?     

Hello. Please tell me about the maximum number of participants for webinars.We are planning to hold a webinar that is likely to have around 450 to 600 participants. Our current contract has a participant limit of 500 people.We only want to increase the contract limit if it looks like we'll exceed 500 participants on the day.If we increase the limit, will the expansion apply to webinars for which we've already issued URLs?Also, we don't want to change the URLs (as they've already been shared with participants).Will increasing the participant limit change the URLs that have already been issued?

I'm being added to webinars i didn't sign up for by people i don't know. I don't know how they got my information but i got zoom meeting confirmations and reminders for webinars that I didn't sign up for.And the organizer is obviously very shady. They use throwaway email addresses as their reply-to email adds.  It's messing up my calendar cos these webinars are automatically added to my calendar.Isn't this a privacy and personal data violation? How can I stop this?

After finishing a Zoom Webinar in Zoom Events (with one session) am I able to retrieve the Q&A questions that were submitted by the audience? I can retrieve a Q&A Count in Reports, but cannot retrieve the full questions themselves. 

Hello All. We use Zoom Webinar for our training events.  I do recordings the same way each time.  The recording window is maximized when I start the recordings and stays maximized all the way through.  When I open the recordings later sometimes the windows are maximized and sometimes the widows are smaller. Has anyone dealt with this issue and if so how did you resolve it?  Also for the smaller screen recordings is there a way to make those maximized without reducing the quality of the video? Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi! I know this is something that can be done on zoom webinar but I wanted to see if there is any way I can download the sessions on Zoom events and edit them together. I am aware that there is an edit feature on zoom events but the download would be helpful to be able to place on our website.  Thanks! Kat 

I "attended" a Zoom seminar on my iPhone for work that was 4 hours long.  I didn't use the Zoom ap on my I just used the link from my email.  Now they are saying I was only active for 12 minutes, is there a way to view on my phone,  how long my phone was connected for the meeting?  Thanks in advance for your help.

In Zoom webinar, there is a setting avaiable to choose a slected set of emojis. That also includes laughing emoji.  Since there is no facility to see who is using the emoji in webinar setup so some people misuse that emoji.  The effectiveness of a webinar reduces because of that.   Other selected emojis are good to be there as even if someone uses them excessively it doesn't create wrong impression.  So I strongly suggest that either that laughing emoji is removed from the selected set of emojis or some other provision is given. 

One of my clients is having a problem connecting his Zoom account to Eventbrite.We keep getting an error message saying "We are having trouble connecting, please try again".Anyone else come across this issue? Maybe this is a tech glitch with Eventbrite or Zoom but it's been going on since yesterday, so not sure what's going on.

I am currently working on a Zoom webhook integration. We are using Zoom Events for our upcoming hybrid multi-day conference. Within that Conference we will have our AGM. Our attendees for the Conference have registered and paid to attend via a different platform - not Zoom Events.Most of our attendees will be in person. But we will have a few attending the online version of the Conference.  However, for the AGM session, we want to open it up to all of our members, including those who have not registered for the rest of the Conference. We only want them to access that particular session via Zoom online.  How can we share them the link for that session, without giving them free access to the rest of the Conference that others have paid for?
