Solved

Several months ago, my organization transferred the administration of our Zoom to a new administrator. Regrettably, this new administrator has left the organization and taken the Zoom account with him. If we are unsuccessful in getting back the account, what are our best options to prevent abuse of the account?

Is there a way from transferring historic meetings from one Zoom account to a New Zoom account, and if so what is the procedure for moving them.

As many others have noted, Zoom frequently crashes/freezes with the new operating system.   When will zoom be updated to work with Tahoe?

I am trying to connect zoom to ReStream.io and I previously had integrated with Otter.ai. I disconnected otter.ai, took the zoom app off of my account. Now everytime I try to select livestream with RTMP it says it is "connected to livestream...but it it not- it's still trying to talk to otter.ai! Soooo frustrated. Anyone know what i am doing wrong? I can't seem to find the original fill in the blanks for the url and streaming code. The input options are gone under the livestreaming option.

We are using Zoom pro for the streaming of webinars since corona hit. We keep our cloud recordings for a very long time, since our customers want to view the recordings of our sessions afterwards.  This morning I cannot find any cloud recordings. It is like they were all erased? That is a big problem and we need them back because clients are constantly asking for the recordings of sessions. What could be the issue here? Thanks, Heidi

Can't schedule the meeting. Error code : 4294967295.

Dear Customer support, I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly request a comprehensive report detailing the participation of my account in all video conferences. It would be greatly appreciated if the report could include information about the participants present during these sessions. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I'm using the current version as of today (6.5.7), but I'm at a loss to know where the Use Dual Monitors switch has disappeared to? I know it got moved a few versions back from the General tab into the Meetings & Webinars one, but I can't find it anymore. Has it moved again or be renamed to something else?

Is anyone having challenges with Zoom's new process for non-profit with Good Stack?  We got approved but have been given the run-around by GoodStack and Zoom.  No access code was given to me and then when I click the links that GoodStack has given me, I get error messages and then Goodstack tells me to go to Zoom and Zoom tells me to go back to Goodstack.  It's been a month, and I can't get a response from either company.

We are testing SMS to confirm some appointments with homeowners. Is there a way that we can change the SMS/Caller ID to show our 800 # (we are able to do this with phone calls). Currently when we send a text message the receiver will get a "Potential Spam" ID or the personal phone number of the employee on their phone. We do not wish to do this because our teams are on queue and no one should be calling their personal ext or phone number for work.  Nor do we want our customers to have the Caller ID say Potential Spam. Please advise. Thank you.

I have turned off AI Companion. I find it annoying and some participants find it intrusive. However, if one of the participants has AI Companion running during a meeting I have initiated, do I still get a prompt that AI Companion is recording the session? Thanks!

The subject is pretty self-explanatory. I'm a psychotherapist. I'm considering using AI Companion to summarize sessions for my notes. Do user sessions get used in training the AI? Thanks!

The zoom app automatically logs me out just right after I log in. I installed and uninstalled it multiple times, using different versions but same issues persist. The AI companion is not helpful at all.

hello, we are having issues,  with our Zoom meetings at the Kingdom Hall, the person at the podium, can not clearly see who is  raising their hand on zoom, is there a dédicated forum, for this questions? How to get in touch with developers or people who can implement this feature in the Zoom meeting program? Tanks in advance

I offered a free, public business webinar with an Eventbrite registration. I knew all attendees personally/professionally, except one, when the meeting started. I admitted everyone who was waiting into the meeting. I had asked that person to turn on their video and change their name. They left. After they left, about ten minutes into the meeting, someone (a known participant) shared their screen (I allow screen sharing and will be changing this setting). It showed a pr0n site with a live video. After realizing that the participant didn't have control of the screen sharing on their end, I took over the sharing and shared a view of my desktop. Someone started scribbling/annotating on the screenshare and wrote an obscenity. Everyone left and rejoined the meeting, and the same thing happened again, but under a different, known participant. This makes me think that some code is embedded in my Zoom meeting room that hijacks participants' screen sharing. I have a Zoom Marketplace Pro account.

I need to send out a recording, but it recorded in the local recording instead of the cloud. How do you convert a local recording to a cloud recording?

I’m using a ThinkPad L13 Gen 5 (Type 21LB, 21LC)Lenovo Product Page When I turn on the camera (Video ON) in the Zoom app, the application freezes for about 2 minutes before the video starts working. Here are the details of my environment: Zoom version: 6.6.15968Camera firmware version: 10.0.22000.20375Intel Graphics driver version: 32.0.101.7026Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution for this problem?

Hello Everyone, I host events for different clients with over 50 people, and in these events, I regularly use breakout rooms to facilitate different conversations to be held within the zoom meeting. More often than not I want to pre-assign these people to these breakout rooms. However, I do not seem to be able to pre-assign multiple sets of rooms in advance.  For instance, I host an event which contains multiple rounds of workshops, and people can sign in for specific workshops before the meeting. I can only pre-assign the first round of workshops with the people that were signed in for those workshops. Workshop rounds 2 and 3 will then either require me as host to assign all people manually myself to the new rooms which costs a lot of time, or require the participants to select the correct workshop room by themselves. I would very much like a feature allowing me to pre-assign the multiple rounds in advance. Something like this: Workshops round 1:Room 1:AndrewJohn&n

Hi! I have an opportunity to try a older USB headset device, the Plantronics Blackwire C720-M. For example, in meetings at Zoom. I use a laptop with Windows 10. In the article ”Supported USB HID devices for the Zoom desktop client”, under Poly, there is a list of supported HID devices made by Poly where, among others, the “Blackwire 7225” is listed. The Plantronics Blackwire C720-M, which is from 2013, when the company was named Plantronics & Polycom, is not listed. On the other hand, in the article, under “Limitations”, it also says: “Supported USB audio devices on Windows are not limited to this list. Generally, the Zoom desktop client on Windows supports buttons for devices made by these manufacturers: AVer, Crestron, Jabra, Logitech, Plantronics, Polycom, Shure, Yamaha, and Yealink.”. Taking the above into account (for example the mentioning under “Limitations” of both Plantronics and Polycom) it makes me a bit uncertain when it comes to the Plantronics

I am trying to gather consolidated data about clip viewing statistics; how many views, how many unique viewers, and completion rates - in a bulk format.  Is there any way to pull this data besides going into each individual clip and viewing the statistics tab?

We have the automated translated captions add-on and it works pretty well.  Even on the recording, you can choose from a long list of languages for translation of the recording.  Now I'd like to grab transcripts of a few different languages but I only can see the original language (Spanish).  If I watch the recording, I can see the transcript being played in any language along with the recording, but how can I download the transcript in a language other than the original?

Hello,Is it possible to get a link on a zoom record that will start at a specific timing?Like it is possible on wistia with the wtime option or in Vimeo with the #t option or in Youtube ? I have the record link, and I'd like that when people will open the link, it will start at a specific time (for exemple at 7'30 and not at the beginning). Thanks for any help.

In my organization, we’ve observed that several users are experiencing issues with the background blur feature in the latest Zoom client versions (6.5.6 and above). Specifically, the blur function fails to activate and, in some cases, causes the application to freeze. we addressed this by rolling affected users back to version 6.5.1, which appears to resolve the issue. To further investigate, I installed version 6.5.7 from the official Zoom website and tested the blur background feature. Unfortunately, the application froze during the attempt, and the background did not blur.

Description:Currently, in inboxes tied to shared numbers or call queues, a message’s read or unread status is tracked individually per user — meaning when one person reads or responds to a message, it still appears as unread for everyone else. This causes confusion and duplication of work, as multiple users may open or reply to the same message unnecessarily. Requested Enhancement:Implement a global read or unread state for shared inboxes so that when one user opens or replies to a message, it is marked as read for all users with access to that number or queue. Benefit:This feature would make team communication more efficient, prevent duplicate responses, and provide clear visibility into which messages have already been handled — improving collaboration and response time across shared lines.
