I originally had a paid Zoom account, but after my subscription expired, it reverted to a free account. Now that I've resubscribed to a paid plan, I can’t seem to find my cloud recordings. However, my cloud storage shows that it’s already 95% full. How can I locate my cloud recordings and free up storage space?
I originally had a one time use webinar that expires on 2/14th, I tried to schedule another webinar that will be on 2/16th and was prompted that I need to buy a new subscription, I bought another one-time subscription that will expire on 3/10th. Despite this I still am getting the prompt that I need to subscribe in order to schedule the webinar.
I will be hosting a webinar with 3000+ participants later this month. All attendees sign up for the event on a separate (non-Zoom) platform and then we register the attendees (via CSV upload) into Zoom. We are hearing from a disturbingly large number of attendees that they did not receive their Zoom registration confirmation email. The emails are not found in the recipient's inbox or spam folders. Having them search for emails from '***********' also does not produce the registration confirmation email. Resending the confirmation email (an incredibly time-consuming process now that Zoom has inserted a 60-second countdown timer between resends) produces mixed results; some attendees receive the subsequent email while most do not. So far, Zoom technical support has advised two things:1) tell the recipients to contact their email server provider and ask them to unblock all of the 50+ IP addresses that Zoom uses to send confirmation emails; what? Ha
For about 2 months now I noticed zoom no longer sends out confirmation emails to CSV uploads and people that register through the registration link for a webinar. This has been affecting my business lately. Are their possible workarounds or other platforms to explore?
Over the past 3 days we’ve had 2 webinars where yahoo.com users have NOT received their confirmation codes. Not in spam, not in trash, not in regular mail. When it was one time I assumed user error. Second time, with another yahoo.com email, I’m thinking it was a system error. Doing some sleuthing, other platforms have issues with yahoo.com and apple mail, so I’ll check that out, but wanted to know if anyone else has seen this issue and whether or not you have a work around. I'm a little taken aback that as a coordinator of events/seminars on the hub, I can't download seminar feedback (survey) in bulk for all seminars -- I have to go into each individual seminar (40) and combine them? That seems insane and quite fixable!
I've unsubscribed from all Zoom Webinars email notifications, but I continue to receive spam emails from them. Unfortunately, Zoom lacks a strong method to report these spammers. Why don't you take measures against spammers or stop sending emails after users unsubscribe?
I’m hosting a webinar that is limited to approved participants. I’ve set the webinar to manual approval, uploaded a CSV of approved participants, and unclicked “Send invitation after importing” so they won’t receive any message. I will then include the webinar registration link to that same group in a separate email I’m sending so that if they register for the event, they’re pre-approved. However, I don’t see a way to tell which of the uploaded invitees has manually registered. The entire list is under “Approved” when I look at Manage Attendees, and when I download the CSV of attendees it just lists everyone together as approved registrants, whether or not they’ve manually registered for the event. Is there any way to see who actually clicked through and completed the registration link? Or, once I upload a list, can I only see the entire list of pre-approved participants, whether or not they’ve manually registered?
We had an odd occurrence during a Webinar last week as one attendee toggled their Closed Captioning on, which turned on CC for everyone on the Webinar. I thought surely that was a bug so I reached out to Zoom Support and they tell me that that is an intended result. If ONE Attendee on a 1000-person Webinar toggles on Closed Captioning, it will start CC for 999 other people. That, in my opinion, should NOT be the case. CC is an individualized experience. We cannot be without it, but the way Zoom has it designed in Webinars, turning it on can cause a significant amount of confusion for other Attendees. Is there a setting somewhere that we can set so that if someone turns on CC, it ONLY turns on CC for THEM?
Where can I access we asked registrants to submit when they registered
I have the page of advice telling me how to convert a meeting to a webinar however when I view the meeting the only buttons to the right are start, edit and delete. There is no option to convert on any of my meetings. Does this mean that I cant convert? Thanks.
Hello I’m reaching out regarding a technical issue we encountered during a recent webinar hosted by our company, and I’m hoping to get some assistance in resolving it for future sessions. Here’s a summary of the issue:Whenever our executive, who served as the webinar host, unmuted themselves to speak, participants experienced significant feedback and echo. This occurred even though all participants were muted during the session. The webinar host did not personally experience any feedback or echo on their end while speaking. The host was using a laptop with built-in speakers and a built-in microphone in a private office environment.Given that participants were muted, we’re unsure what might have caused the feedback. Please help in diagnosing and resolving this issue to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees in the future. I've looked at other articles on audio feedback resulting from a second device picking up sound but per the webinar host this wasn't the issue.
Hi there,I am hosting a webinar with some vulnerable people as Panelists. I would rather they did NOT see the questions coming in from attendees in the Q&A, as it’s a sensitive subject. I would prefer me, as the host, sees the questions and fields them to the appropriate panelist verbally, for them to answer.I have the Zoom Webinars account, with up to 1,000 attendees.Looking at other support comments and speaking to the Virtual Agent, they suggested two things:“When scheduling or editing your webinar, go to the Q&A section and uncheck Allow panelists to view attendee-submitted questions.” - But this option does not exist. And it suggested I use the Chat function instead - and limit what Panelists can see in the Chat. However, I do not have any option of Chat function either. Thanks - any help much appreciated!
I am preparing a webinar that I would like to include quizzes/polls in. I currently have a licensed account, but I do not have the webinar add on. My team lead also has a licensed account, and does have the webinar add on. She has scheduled the webinar, alternative hosts has been enabled, and she has set me as an alternative host for the webinar in question. Per the “Conducting quizzes in webinars” FAQ, I ought to be able to add quizzes/polls to this webinar, however, no where in my account to I appear to have access to this webinar in order to do so following the directions in the afore mentioned FAQ. Specifically, the issue arises with Step 3 “Click the name of the webinar you want to add a poll to”. When I click the Webinar tab in my account, all I get is a advertisement to purchase the webinar add on. Should I be able to create polls and quizzes as a licensed user, without the webinar add on, and if so, how to I go about accessing the webinar to do so? Or must you have the webinar
Logging in through the correct platform, there is no “Reports” option showing up on the left side scroll bar. Have closed out of the app and back in and it still does not appear. Any ideas are appreciated!
I used Production Studio to make a scene template for my Zoom Event. How do I make use of that template for the various sessions in my Event? The documentation is very silent on scene templates.
As the host of a webinar with over 200 participants who are not users in my account, I should have the ability to assign them to a specific breakout room, without having to give them the option to select a room. The only options available are assign automatically or allow participants to select a room. I have to choose allow participants to select a room because I don’t want them assigned automatically and then I assign them to the room they are supposed to be in. However, they have the option to select a room. There needs to be an option to assign manually, just like the option available for panelists. As a webinar or webinar plus user, I should have MORE control, not less.
As far as we can tell we have all the correct settings turned on to record transcripts, however none of our webinars have any VTT files associated with them, its only the MP4 file. How can we ensure transcripts are happening and are accessible?
Is there a way to save a speaker bio in Zoom. I cant seem to find a place to store a speakers bio, and I have to recreate the bio each time I schedule a Webinar. Can anyone help?
Hi, I am currently experiencing what seems like a permissions design or technical issue with a Zoom Event. I have a few sponsors and exhibitors and each of them is permitted access to attend all the sessions. In both webinar and meeting sessions for our multi-session event, whenever these accounts join they are AUTOMATICALLY made a co-host, which creates an administrative burden to the actual meeting host to then have to remove them from that role, PLUS lots of confusion for our sponsor/exhibitor contacts who simply want to attend educational sessions NOT co-host them. Zoom chat support has left me hanging on this and I'm wondering, is this a tech issue for our event, or simply an error in design of the Zoom events program??Reading through permissions how-to's it seems that exhibitors should only be able to host their OWN sessions in the expo booth or ones that we have assigned them to specifically, but this is not what we are finding in practice. If you've had a
How can I rearrange order of speakers in a Webinar Registration pageI need to add a speaker who will be the first one not last
Hi, I ( from Taiwan) set up an online congress and invite a Chinese speaker ( from China) to log into the Zoom. But when he log in, his Zoom shown: your country/area cannot subscribe to the Zoom. Is anyone face this problem? I am wondering is this because the political issue?
Hey there! I am hosting paid webinars this month. I want to provide some supporters a free link to attend my webinar without having to pay. I do not have Zoom Events which apparently offers an option to do this. I only the Zoom webinar and a pro account and trying to figure out a solution without needing to pay another account. I tried sending my friend the link that is generated on the calendar invite but when she clicked on it, it made her register and pay. I am accepting payment via PayPal and I do not think I can create a code to override the $10 charge. I am just a bit stumped on this and trying to provide some people a free invite to my webinar. Thanks!
Hi! We have the Zoom integration enabled within Pardot and since the new year have started getting issues when setting up the registration forms that whenever submitted zoom redirects to an internal server error page. The submission is captured in pardot and the count of registrants increases in Zoom but the registrants receive no confirmation email and our zoom registrant list is blank.
I am running a webinar with over 5000 participants and would like to track how many groups/organizations join. This is above the number of allowed registrations. However, I was wondering if it is possible for each organization to register, then share that unique join link with their group of 20 participants. How many devices can join on each link? I see that there is a limit of number of devices per Zoom account, but what about for a registration in which you only need your email address to join? Thanks!
