Would be great to always open chat in it's own window (popped out), instead of merged with main window. Opening it inside main window messes up window layouts.

Hi. I wanted to have a specific set of users to always have automatic call recording enabled. I thought that I could do this by creating a "Group" in Zoom, and setting the Automatic Call Recording option to "On", and then assigning users to it. When I did that, the calls were not recorded though. If however, I go into each user individually, and go under their "Policy" setting, I can enable it there and it works, but I'd prefer not to have to manage this setting for each individual user. Is there any other way to apply the automatic call recording setting to a group of users? or is their something I could me missing that's causing the group setting to not be applied? I've tried locking it, as well as disabling it and turning it back on again.

Hello! I have a few students using Chromebooks and Macbooks. They cannot find their annotation tool. Can anyone provide guidance on this?

Hi everyone, I've been using zoom webinars for some time, and today I encountered this problem for the first time.I was in webinar practice session with two others panelists and none of us were able to share sound during screen sharing. I can see the Share Audio option in the bottom corner, but I can't check it.I would appreciate any solution to this.

I cannot type "@" as part of an ID. For example ***********

I had a meeting, and I recorded it locally. I have found the recording file (M4A), but I need to convert it to an (MP4), for the attendees need to se it so that they can evaluate the speech that was given. Can someone please help me, I really need this for a speech class that I am taking?

With the daily activities we have, Regular Zoom meetings, sending lots of emails and use of multiple tools to coordinate. We cannot avoid to get the important action items to get lost and deadlines are missed.   Our challenges are tasks are scattered across chat, email, docs and spreadsheets, people leave meetings without clarity on the next steps. Manual taking notes consumes time and reminders causing duplication and confusion.   Zoom Task bridges the gap between conversation and action - turning ideas into outcomes without switching platforms. I've searched through the posts but I haven't found a discussion around receiving SMS only.  My company has a phone number through zoom and an approved Brand.  However, we do not want to send SMS we only want to receive them.  We can't create an SMS campaign because the questions make no sense for our business.  We do not, for example, have a privacy policy - or need a privacy policy for the work that we do.  Am I stuck or is there a solution?

My microphone has suddenly stopped working.  Getting message  "Failed to detect your microphone"  "There seems to be an issue with your microphone."  It worked fine last week - have NOT done anything to change things since then.  Can anyone help?  I have a zoom job interview in 6 hours!!

We are a team of 10, we have a daily catch-up call every morning where anyone who is not busy with a priority task jumps on the scheduled reoccurring Zoom call.We don't know exactly who will be on the call each day, so I've made all ten of us co-hosts. It appears that whoever joins first becomes the host, which is fine. The problem is that if that person leaves the meeting the Zoom session is stopped and everyone gets bumped off unless the person leaving remembers to reassign the host role.Is there anyway to define a reoccurring Zoom meeting person with having a host?

What is on your roadmap for integration with other systems such as Informacast? We really like Zoom phone but need that integration with our horns and speakers system.

The organization I work for purchased the Zoom Sessions (Pay Per Attendee) plan for up to 50 attendees. I misunderstood the plan and thought it would allow for 50 attendees per session, not per year. We have already used 45 attendees, so we will need to purchase more. When I go to 'Manage Plan' and 'Add More Attendees', you can select a plan for 50, 100, 600, etc. If we purchase one of these plans, is that 50/100/600 attendees in addition to the original 50 we had purchased? Thank you.

There is contradictory information about this online.  On Zoom's advice page for audio transcriptions, it says: Requirements for using audio transcriptionA Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise accountBut if you look at the Plan Comparison chart, it says transcripts are not available with PRO or PRO PLUS, only with BUSINESS and above. What's the truth?!?!

I've noticed that the conversion of a local recorded session uses only CPU and uses no GPU even when there is additional dedicated GPUs in the system.A good enhancement would be to be able to "detect" (or configurable) and "use" at least a CUDA/NVIDIA engines to accelerate the conversion using CPU and GPU (as usually done on any video editor and rendering system)

I teach  via Zoom and I use the Zoom Whiteboard every day.I really like it, but there a some features I would like so see.- a better shape recognition, like other apps eg. goodnotes, noeful... have. - a lasso tool, not only a rectangle- better pdf import- dark toolbar when in darkmode- better writing experience on ipads and with graphics tablets ( pen often gets stuck)Oh, I almost missed one of the most important points!- Ability to set e default font and font sizeIt is really annoying to have to change the font every time I use a new Textbox

I recently purchased Zoom Events, but I don't have access to create a new event via the hub. See the video below   https://www.loom.com/share/ddd16a5f8ddc4d3ea49940dd0e8af701   Please help me resolve this issue as I have several events I need to schedule.   Thank you.

I have a Lenovo P14 laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 installed with all updates.  When I open Zoom, my audio is completely dead... going into system settings and trying to test returns silence.  Close Zoom, and sound returns.  I'm at 6.4.10 (2027) and had the same behavior with 6.4.6 (1327) earlier today.  My sound devices are identified as Meteor Lake-P  I'm happy to provide anything that'll help figure this out.

I want to set up Original sound for musicians, but that option isn't available when I go into Audio Profile.

Hi all I have a few users who have Zoom Workplace on iOS devices , these are new devices, all up to date and have Zoom Workplace installed. When the users click on a Zoom link in Outlook for mobile they are greeted with "did not open Zoom? Tap to install Zoom Workplace app". I have uninstalled and re-installed the app, tried using different meeting links but get the same issue.  Any idea how I can troubleshoot this issue?

When I share a whiteboard in a meeting, the number of participants for the whiteboard is the same as the maximum number of participants for the meeting, obviously. However:When I share a whiteboard-link with 500 people and my meeting limit is 300. Would that be possible?Assuming I can share the whiteboard with an unlimited number of people, how many can edit at the same time (as maximum)? The same as my meeting limit?

I have scheduled a zoom meeting (after buying the Zoom pro version). I feel the need to upgrade and buy the webinar version. Can i shift my zoom meeting to a zoom webinar (keeping the session link as the same one)?
