Good morning.I've just bought "Large rooms - 1000" and tomorrow I'm having an event for 900 participants. I've read that I'll only be able to allocate 200 in the breakout rooms, how do I change that option? I want to create 50 breakout rooms with 18 participants in each.Thank you very much.

I have turned off adblocker because my video display is a black screen. It didn't do anything and my video display is still a black screen. My laptop is Windows 11 (Lenovo).

(My subject line is a quote from the Zoom instructions.)   I'm on a research team using Zoom audio transcripts for hour-long research interviews. We're finding the quality of the audio transcription to be very good. However, the frequency of what Zoom calls "sections" is extreme -- sometimes every two seconds, even though the speaker hasn't changed. I can understand having a section each time a speaker changes, but what we're experiencing is much more frequent. It makes the transcripts much less readable. However, deleting hundreds of timestamps for every transcript seems quite a waste of time. Has anyone else found a way to avoid the extreme frequency of these timestamps?   As a related curiosity, under Advanced Cloud Recording Settings there's a setting for "add a timestamp to the recording," which I've always had as unselected. Since the frequent timestamps appear anyway, maybe I should experiment and check that setting just to see what happe

I have a transcript from an important Meetings conversation that is broken into so many time stamps that the transcript is near useless because I'll need to spend a long time deleting and combining phrases to create complete sentences. It has broken everything into short phrases, many just two or three words, before adding another one.  I was poking around to see if I could regenerate the transcript, and so far do not see how to do that. In the process, I discovered that I actually have the option to allow a time stamp for cloud recordings unchecked. So I would think I should not even be getting them.  So two questions: why am I getting time stamps with this turned off, and is there a way to fix this current transcript?

With a free account, how do I set up the profile image? I do not see the steps to do this.  also, with the free account, how to set up a background image? thanks

I was recording a meeting. After the meeting ended and it was time to convert it to mp4, I got a message that said something around "there's another conversion happening, after it ends go to your account and convert it from there." The message was true; a previous meeting recording was being converted.  I pressed okay but the thing is I didn't sign in to enter that meeting so I can't find it on my account. Please help, I need to send that recording to someone as fast as possible.

I broke SSO and need someone from Zoom to resolve it as I can't login to either submit a ticket or call anymore. How do I go about resolving this issue?

I have enabled the translation function and have been using it for many many times.However, it suddenly disappeared when I was scheduling a meeting last Sat.I have checked that the translation function is still enabled and I have already updated my Zoom to the latest version.When I start a new meeting, I cannot assign someone to be the translaor. Also, I cannot see the "earth logo" in the Zoom meeting.I checked my recurring meeting and the "earth logo" still exist.If anybody knows the solution, please help. I need the translation function urgently. Thanks!

A Intel I3-6100u  works right on screen sharing or no?Dual and single-core laptops have a reduced frame rate when screen sharing (around 5 frames per second). For optimum screen-sharing performance on laptops, we recommend a quad-core processor or higher. I m confused about the cores and the technology or architecture of a cpu  Thanks

The ZOOM Guide says you need to have the desktop app for being able to participate in breakout sessions, but we haven't had a case, were this didn't work via Chrome/Firefox/etc. in quite some time.Now, we want users to be able to self select breakout sessions in a bigger event and ask us the same question: Will this work, if most of them show up without having the desktop app installed or will we find ourselves having to manually select all participants into their respective rooms?Maybe some of you use this often and can offer your experiences. 

I have Zoom version 5.17.31859 installed on a number of devices and I cannot remove it nor can I upgrade itIf I try to uninstall it gives me a message about not being able to locate 'installer.msi'I have tried to locate a compatible file without any luck. Can anyone advise? Thank you 🙂 

Can the audio transcription generated for a recording file be converted to other languages, and while the host can see it individually, can this recording file be shared with others? When the link is shared with others, the audio transcription disappears, and the person it's shared with can only see the transcription in the original language which is unreadable for them. 

How do I turn on the background blur on zoom in web browser? I can’t use the zoom desktop app (whenever I try to download it tells me it’s not compatible with my computer) so I use the zoom in web browser by clicking the tiny text that says if it’s not working you can open the zoom meeting in the web browser instead of the app. I know how to turn on the background blur on the desktop app when it used to work on my computer but I can’t find how to turn it on within the web browser.

Hi, I'm having "unable to join meeting error code 13224" error and I cannot start any scheduled or new meeting. What should I do to resolve this issue? Please help me. Thanks in advance. 

I went to schedule a new meeting in the Mac App and normally Zoom would end by creating a link I could copy and paste into my calendar.  It looks like they've (or I accidentally configured it) to just create the meeting in my gmail/Mac calendar directly instead of giving me a link.  This is actually making things MORE complicated.  How do I get it back to the previous look and feel with just a link and copy button? Thanks!

I've been using zoom to take remote music lessons for about a year.  This past lesson I was in a new house/room, and I noticed that part of the screen is blurred and the affected area changes as I move around. I have no filters or effects, and I've never seen this before.  When I'm not holding the instrument the background is a bit out of focus.  When I hold the instrument, part of the instrument is out of focus also.   This is running Zoom Workplace on an iMac (macOS 15.6.1) , and I get this effect on both the built-in camera and a Logitech C920S. Behind the camera is a big window, and it's a cloudy day.  Yesterday it was sunny and I got the same effect.  I'm including links to screen grabs on my google drive (I hope that's OK) of just me and me with the bass to show the effect. Any ideas? 

The meeting I am trying to join is through my institution so I have to be signed in. When I'm on my computer this is no problem. The problem is on mobile. I open the zoom app, click sign in sso, a browser pops up, I sign in to the browser, I put the zoom room id in now I'm signed into the browser, and oh, I'm redirect to the app which prompts me to sign in. But I am signed in. I'm signed in on the browser not the app. But the app forces me to sign in on the browser. So how exactly am I supposed to join?

When I join a zoom meeting where I don't have to log in to my zoom, I somehow reset my screen name to a random series of numbers. I've looked everywhere in my account, and I can't find where this random number was entered (and therefore, I can't figure out how to change it). Does this ring a bell for anyone, and can someone point me to where I should look to fix it?

I would like to set a 1-hour meeting as a default template so that I don't have to set the end time manually for every meeting  I schedule. I can create the template, but there I don't see a way to nominate it as the default.Is there another way to set a default meeting duration?

We were just zoom-bombed by someone who posted a string of offensive sayings in the chat. They were all identical and appeared quickly before I could remove and report the user. I then deleted his chats one by one. Is there a way that I could have deleted his entire string of chats at once?

I’m encountering an issue with Zoom  and my Plantronics Bluetooth headset for audio and microphone use. The headset works perfectly with other applications like Google Meet, You Tube, etc so I believe the device itself is functioning properly.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Reviewed and followed all relevant Zoom support articlesChecked audio settings within Zoom and selected the correct input/output deviceVerified that the headset is connected and set as the default in the system audio settingsUninstalled, Installed, Restarted Zoom and my computerI show the green bars when conducting the testing but I cannot hear the sound or recordingSystem: Window 11PC: Lenovo ThinkpadDespite this, Zoom does not play or capture audio through the headset.Do you have any additional troubleshooting steps or suggestions? Next thing I know is I'm hearing the Andy Griffith TV show theme song over top of the song I'm sharing.THEN, I'm seeing participant's hands going up, one at a time (none of my participants even know how to raise their hand!).Then my cohost says that an ad*lt video is showing on everyone's screen, from the visitor. My cohost could not remove the visitor , and because the names in the participant list kept moving around (I'm guessing because of the hand-raising they were somehow doing).So.  My guess is the visitor had an ad*lt video as their background and then did a spotlight for all, which overrode the screen sharing I was doing.AND... SOMEHOW they were able to raise other participants' hands.  HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY ABLE TO DO THAT?!?I ended-up killing the meeting to stop it.Thanks for any thoughts on what happened!

During my Zoom conference, there were disturbing messages in the chat coming from 3 participants who I personally know would never do things like that. This has happened a few times with different participant names. Zoom bombers somehow can use the name of any random participant to send disturbing messages.   Does anyone have the same experience like this? I've researched Zoom bombing cases, but not one mentioned hijacking names and chats.

Hello, I recently bought a new Dell G15. I play weekly Dungeons and Dragons via Zoom where the host shares music with us. I can hear everyone speaking, but cannot hear the music. Everyone else can hear the music perfectly. I can only hear their voices. Someone other than host tried sharing music. Everyone else could hear it except me. I can hear my friends voices perfectly fine. It is as though some setting is automatically muting the music. This happens when I use the base speakers and microphone on the laptop, or when I use a Snowball external microphone and headphones, or when I use airpods. Any combination of base system, headphones, external microphone, I can hear my friends' voices but cannot hear the music.  Yes, I have made sure to select the correct output speaker and input headphones, in both desktop client settings and in the actual meetings.
