New user here. I can set up meeting but how do you add names to invite?

 I need to recover a recently deleted zoom meeting 

Hello, I am writing to request full native Wayland support and optimization for the Zoom Linux client. Currently, many users (including myself) experience issues with screen sharing, window management, and overall performance when using Wayland compositors (GNOME/Mutter, KDE/Kwin).Relying on XWayland is no longer a viable long-term solution as the Linux ecosystem is rapidly moving to Wayland by default. We need: Native PipeWire/Portal integration for screen sharing. Better resource management (CPU/RAM optimization) under Wayland. Fixes for screen flickering and window focus issues. This is critical for users on modern distributions like Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 and Fedora.

 The interface on the right is not an improvement over that on the left. Seriously, why? I’m now clicking 25% more to get to my same configuration for my meetings. I’m not opposed to putting the controls in the sidebar, but drilling down multiple levels is a serious regression in usability.

This may just me be ranting, but am I the only one who hates it when companies push a UI change with seemingly zero input? The Zoom Workplace app moved the navigation tabs from the top to the left and I can’t for the life of me figure out why they would do that and NOT give the option to move them back. Left-hand tabs are counter-intuitive as almost every application has either located them on the top (most common) or the bottom, but let the user customize if they wanted them on the side. I am a heavy advocate for the tabs on top approach and fully accept that some people disagree, but why not let the users decide and customize their own layout? The app looks kind of stupid now, especially because you can toggle the calendar side panel which opens on the right, so now you have less horizontal space in the app itself. Please tell me if I’m overreacting or if you agree.

I logged into Zoom today to Live Stream a Funeral and was shocked to ss a completely new home page to the point whereby I could not work out how to mute all participants and use full screen view. This made things quite difficult for the firt 5 minutes before I managed to navigate my way around the new changes. Why does this happen so often, it is quite unsettling, just like running a new program without being familiar with its features!

I encounter this problem several timeswhen I press unmute on lock screen it automatically open my video as well. This only happen when on lock screen quick access.   

Necesito ver varias reuniones al mismo tiempo, aunque hay un articulo que dice que eso se puede hacer desde la configuracion de reuniones basica, por mas que leo, no lo veo.  mas arriba indica que debo solicitarlo a soporte, sin embargo no hay donde escribirle a soporte y solo te sale el soporte virtual el cual se vuelve un circulo vicioso por que pregunta y responde lo mismo...si alguien puede ayudarme se lo agradecere.

Hi everyone, I’ve recently noticed that during some Zoom meetings the audio randomly cuts out for a few seconds and then comes back. My internet connection seems stable and this doesn’t happen in other apps. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix? 

I have installed the app and added to my app from my zoom account but I cannot see an icon nor fathom appearing to note take. I even got a welcome email from fathom to confirm that I have added the app. What am I missing here? 

 Hello,I am experiencing a problem when trying to schedule a meeting in Zoom.When I open the scheduling window, multiple pop-ups overlap each other, making it impossible to use the interface properly.For example: I cannot select a future date (e.g., April 8 – I cannot access April at all) I cannot set the time I cannot select options like “no time limit” Different pop-ups keep appearing on top of each other This happens regardless of whether my screen is maximized or not.Because of this issue, I am unable to schedule any meetings.Could you please help me resolve this?Thank you. 

With the latest update, version 6.2.0, recurring meetings with "No Fixed Time" have been removed from the desktop client home screen and calendar. There is no way to put them back on there without changing them to a fixed schedule and end date. Tell Zoom that this change MUST BE REVERSED. I and thousands of other users routinely use Zoom to hold meetings with no fixed schedule and no end date. We don't use the Zoom calendar for anything -- we have our own calendar and invitation systems. All recurring meetings should be available somewhere on the client home screen. This issue started week of April 29, 2024. A few participants in a meeting cannot go to breakout rooms. They go, but then are quickly sent back to the main room without having clicked on anything. This has happened to different people, on different accounts. We have tried assigning them to a different room, we have had them log out and log back in. Zoom has been VERY UNHELPFUL saying only that it is because participants have a poor internet connection. These participants have been in the meeting without other issues for a total of 29 hours (over 10 days). It is causing a lot of problems for our training participants. Anyone have any answers? Experiencing a regression since upgrading from 6.2.x to 6.3.10.7150. When I share my screen, the first time it works as expected. The second time, it just shares a black screen. If I force-kill the zoom client, and re-join the meeting, I can share again.  

I'm running online singing lessons using a Macbook Air, and always have original sound for musicians enabled so that my voice doesn't cut out and I can play the piano at the same time. Of late - the last month or so - I find my students are complaining they can't hear me. I'm too quiet. I've tried increasing the microphone input, but it's on its max. The automatic adjustment doesn't work either. Am I missing a new setting somewhere? 

i am now unable to login into my personal and work email because I accidentally put the educator status and pressed all the age buttons hastily. i need to use zoom for this email because it is connected to my emails for college. please help. i am unable to submit a support ticket and contact because i need to login which i cannot. i made this account with a different email, but the email that I need support on is different. please help 

Does anyone know how to turn off the timer for when the meetings end 

The "Upcoming Meetings" date range filter has a 90-day limit and that changing the End Date incorrectly forces the Start Date to match it, making it impossible to view a full year (2026).   This makes it very difficult to do long-term meeting planning.  Is there away that the date range filter can be done away with?

Hi everyone,I use a licensed Zoom account through my university for academic advising sessions. Most of my meetings are open “drop-in” hours where I leave Zoom open and students come and go throughout the day.The current attendee reports don’t really fit that setup. I have to manually piece together who was in the waiting room, who actually joined, when they left, and whether they came back later. It’s especially tricky to track students who waited but never joined or who had multiple short visits.I’ve also tried using the AI Companion summaries, but they don’t include the kind of detailed timestamps or waiting room information that would make these reports useful for advising.It would be great if Zoom could provide a clearer timeline or summary showing:Each attendee’s waiting room time, meeting time, and any re-joins A list of anyone who entered the waiting room but left before joining Timestamped chat messages (since I shar

I just logged into try and schedule some meetings and the whole interface has been changed.  I go to click on meetings and it gives me the option to "host" or "join" a meeting....  Sigh.....  Where the heck did they move the dashboard when you used to log into your account and it launched right then and there.  Now it's filled with all sorts of garbage promoting more services to buy that don't interest me and clutter up my screen. And, where do you request support to chat with a support agent?  I'm not interested in their stupid AI bots. I don't understand why they have to make things harder.

When trying to update zoom I attempted to uninstall, that shows the location doesnt have the files it needs, I tried downloading and installing a new version that failed for same reason the tool keeps looking for the installation location which doesn't exist. I tried the cleanzoomtool also same results, maybe I should remove via registry?

Hi everyone,Lately I’ve been experiencing random freezing issues during Zoom meetings on my Windows 11 laptop. The video just stops and the app becomes unresponsive, although audio sometimes keeps playing in the background.I’ve updated Zoom to the latest version and also made sure my system drivers are current. It usually happens about 10–15 minutes into a call, and I have to force quit and rejoin.Is it related to system performance or something with Zoom and Windows 11? Thanks!

If I’ve used the wrong category for this post, go ahead and redirect it to the appropriate one.  No worries.I use Zoom 7.0.0 (33767) on a Windows-based notebook computer.  My question is this:  How do I re-enable the Classic Notes feature?  I have searched the help resources but have been unable to find anything, so I am posting here.When I try to use what looks like Classic Notes, it takes me to a forced-redirect page within the app that says, “Upgrade your note-taking with the new and more powerful editing experience. Migrate your data to the new notes for a better experience. You can still access your previous classic notes.”  When I click the “View Classic Notes” button (gray with black type), it takes me to Zoom Web Access.  I don’t want to write and edit my notes on the web.  I do want to be able to write and edit my notes in-app.I don’t know what else to do to get Zoom to work the way I want it to.  All suggestions are welcome.Thank y
