Zoom crashes when changing camera to Wirecast virtual camera

I am having the same issue.  When I am using the Zoom desktop app, I cannot switch from integrated camera to wirecast virtual camera.  Once I do, I cannot open any meetings or the setting pop up will not open either. I can use Zoom and wirecast virtual camera on a web browser.

​@Biju Muttaseril Could you help check whether there is any dump file under path %appdata%\Zoom\logs? If there is, please help attach it and we will analyze it. Thanks.

The dump file was to large to transfer.  When I got the latest version of Wirecast, it started working properly.

I was having the same exact problem with 16.5.1.  have tried installing 16.5.2 and 16.5.3 with zoom version 7.1.5.  Now it does not crash zoom, but the virtual camera and audio never installs correctly (even though it reports installed successfully).  I  start virtual camera, installs virtual camera, says install successful, then when I check it, it is not running, start virtual camera, installs virtual camera, install successful, does not start, and continues with this loop. 

So as of August 21, 2026 this problem is still not solved.
