Hello! We have an educator that has enabled "Sound notification when someone joins or leaves"; however, when learner join the meetings, the chime is not sounded.   Has anyone come across this one before? Here are some details:Just switched to a new computer (had been working before on a different device)Zoom Version: 5.14.8.16213Chrome 113 on Windows 10Uninstalled Zoom and re-installed latest version (5.14.8.16213)Thanks for any help!

New surface when I open Zoom, cannot find overview on my booked mtgs and can go only day by day view, tried a lot. I need an overview function!

When trying to update zoom I attempted to uninstall, that shows the location doesnt have the files it needs, I tried downloading and installing a new version that failed for same reason the tool keeps looking for the installation location which doesn't exist. I tried the cleanzoomtool also same results, maybe I should remove via registry?

Hi everyone,Lately I’ve been experiencing random freezing issues during Zoom meetings on my Windows 11 laptop. The video just stops and the app becomes unresponsive, although audio sometimes keeps playing in the background.I’ve updated Zoom to the latest version and also made sure my system drivers are current. It usually happens about 10–15 minutes into a call, and I have to force quit and rejoin.Is it related to system performance or something with Zoom and Windows 11? Thanks!

Hey everyone,I’ve been exploring ways to combine Zoom sessions with YouTube—either by live streaming meetings or using YouTube content during webinars—and I’m curious how others are handling this in real situations. For example, if you’re running a webinar on Zoom and streaming it to YouTube, how reliable has that setup been for you? Any noticeable delays, quality drops, or audience engagement differences compared to just using Zoom alone?Also, for those who share YouTube videos during meetings (screen share or otherwise), do you have any tips to keep audio/video smooth? Sometimes I feel like playback isn’t as clean as it should be.Would be great to hear what’s working for you, especially if you’re using this setup for training, marketing, or client presentations.

The format of timer app seems to change. I used to have buttons for pausing, resetting etc. Also there was history of time used before and some options (1 min. 3 min. 5 min.). Now display is a digital timer (00:00:00) and a START bar.  Also noticed the number 1 next to apps icon (showing number of apps loaded) no longer there. Fred

I have recorded my class during the meeting. I have shared my screen to the audience. But in the records there is only audio and no video part. There is two files which "Shared screen with speaker view" and " Audio only "  files. But there is no video is playing in the record. only audio I can hear. Please help me. 

My account is a single user account (Zoom Workplace Pro) and I am locked out by Admin to change settings but I am the owner and should be able to change settings.The live chat was not able to help me even though I changed browsers, cleared my cache - still no access.

This issue has me banging my head against a wall. I have cox internet in AZ with the service 1 gig up/down (with speedtests showing 920’ish both ways). I have unifi equipment and all affected devices are hard wired. The issue occurs on my wife’s and I laptop. When we join a zoom meeting everything is fine. But once we share screen, we get internet connection is unstable and from the other users in the meeting they report our voices are robotic or don’t transmit at all. they also report the stream lags extremely bad or freezes. This issue does not happen when using teams or any other meeting software. All other devices/services work perfectly fine in my environment.  To troubleshoot I have plugged my laptop directly into the modem, bypassing my router, and the issue still occurs. I had a cox technician here this morning and he basically shrugged his shoulders. I know something is being blocked upstream and I need to be able to go to cox with this evidence. Has anyone he

How about the Q&A feature. before the last update i was able to access Q&A settings now i can even find it anywhere anymore. it is only accessible using the personal ID and this is loss of my investment right now if i create an official meeting using generated IDs i lose the Q&A feature even when i am the host

I need help with what my participants will see when they are in the waiting room before I let them into group. 

Been using Zoom since its inseption.. Hi, I’ve been having this issue with my mouse cursor for a month. It started happening after I updated my Windows version to Windows 11, but I’m not sure whether these events are connected or not. When I’m sharing a PPT or Google Slides, which are the main content I usually share, everything works normally. However, whenever I need to transition to a new tab, such as Google Docs or Youtube, while still screen sharing, my mouse cursor completely disappears and I cannot do anything about it. It has been so frustrating, because I cannot click on anything, not even on “stop sharing”, and I just have to wait for it to be back. My students say they still see my mouse cursor as I’m moving it desperately trying to get its control back.  I have searched for a solution for this issue in this forum, but most of the results I got are from years and years ago, and none of the recommendations given solved my problem - such as updating Zoom’s version. Can some

I am trying to attend a Zoom meeting using my web browser, Librewolf.  This web browser is very similar to Firefox.  So, whatever troubleshooting steps are available for Firefox should work here.I am able to join the meeting and see the other person in the meeting.But, after a few seconds, I get this messageSomething went wrong. Please close your browser try again.When I tried again, the same thing happened.

I asked my co worker for the recording and he gave me a file name “double_click_to_convert_01.zoom”. It won’t convert when I double click how do I get the recording?

The Zoom Workplace UI is too small, and I can't figure out how to change it to be bigger. I am using Kubuntu 24.10, and have Display & Monitor -> Display Configuration -> Global scale set to 175%, but Zoom Workplace seems to be ignoring this. I can't find any option to scale the whole UI; only the "Webview" thing, which seems to be the thing that shows the current time and upcoming meetings. I have also looked at ~/.config/zoomus.conf and tried setting autoScale to the opposite option (it started as true, so I set it to false), but there was no visible effect (and yes, I restarted the app). How do I scale up the UI?

 I am sharing an in-house presentation on an Epson overhead projector/screen which is for the dedicated powerpoint slides. I am working off of a laptop PC for accepting invitees and answering chat. The two screens are identified as 1 and 2 (1 is the laptop, my main display, and 2 is the projector for the powerpoint presentation). My issue is when I use my laptop keypad, the presenter is unable to advance the PowerPoint Slides. I have to select or click on powerpoint to give the control back to the remote clicker/slide advancer. How can this be remedied with settiings?

Hi, at the end of the meeting. ZOOM didn't convert the meeting. I go to manually converted from Meeting - Recording. I open the folder and then I double click the file named: "double_click_to_convert_01" and I get the message: " Failed to convert recording. There is another recording conversion in progress, please convert this recording later from Meetings>Recording". Any help?

The zoom app is causing my mackbook M4 heat, I worked with Apple support and performed all tests and identified that its Zoom which is causing the issues

I have Zoom Workplace 6.3.0 (52884) installed. The computer is trying to update to 6.4.2.During the course of the update, I receive the message that the feature I am trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. I am to look for “zoon InstallerFull.msi”, which cannot be located.Downloading the latest version of Zoom does not resolve anything. The computer does not accept the msi file that has been downloaded.Attempts to delete the app failed, with the same error message generated.Suggestions / Guidance please.Thank you
