Macbook overheat with zoom meetings

The zoom app is causing my mackbook M4 heat, I worked with Apple support and performed all tests and identified that its Zoom which is causing the issues

What version of Zoom do you have installed? A previous version of the client was causing this issue. Might as well make sure that you are on 7.0.

I have all the same issues. The app is updated to 7.0 as well as the MacOS. Could you think over any other possible solutions? The CPU temp reaches over 90 degrees while using Zoom only, it’s not okay at all

Same issue here, M1 Pro is around boiling point during Zoom calls. No issues with google meet or teams calls on the same machine! The picture quality in meets is even higher. Tried to clean reinstall Zoom several times - no effect.
It is ridiculous that 10 years old macbook air on intel is running zoom smooth without being hot! (while teams is failing getting stuck) - The obvious conslusion - there is something very wrong with Zoom compiled for ARMs! what a shame...
