Question

Timer

The format of timer app seems to change. I used to have buttons for pausing, resetting etc. Also there was history of time used before and some options (1 min. 3 min. 5 min.). Now display is a digital timer (00:00:00) and a START bar.  Also noticed the number 1 next to apps icon (showing number of apps loaded) no longer there.

I'm hoping posting a screen shot of issue I am having might help with a response. Possibly this is a know issue being worked on?

The Zoom timer app is not loading after a meeting has started. When I click on the app and select the timer option, I see a black screen. I am using a MacBook Pro. I am able to launch the app outside of the meeting window, but it doesn't work properly within the meeting.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Thank you.

This post has been deleted.

Not sure I understand this answer but it appears the timer app has been repaired.

I’ve actually tried Scarlet a couple of times, and your steps are pretty much on point 👍

One thing I’d add from my experience — the “Trust Developer” part can sometimes be a bit confusing for people doing it the first time. Also, iOS tends to revoke these certificates randomly, so if Scarlet suddenly stops opening, it’s usually not your fault. You just have to reinstall or wait for a new certificate.

Another tip: don’t rely on it for anything important. It’s great for testing apps, tweaks, or modded stuff, but stability isn’t always guaranteed. I’ve had apps crash or stop working after a few days.

And yeah, definitely stick to the official site. There are a lot of fake download pages out there that either don’t work or try to push sketchy profiles.

Also, similar to how people use Scarlet for sideloading, a lot of users install modified apps like YouTube Premium APK (for example, builds shared on ytmodz) to get extra features like ad-free viewing or background play. But just like Scarlet, these depend on certificates and can stop working anytime, so you always have to be ready for reinstalling or switching sources.

Overall though, Scarlet is pretty useful if you know what to expect and don’t mind the occasional hassle. Curious if anyone here has found a more stable alternative lately?
