As host, I start an attendance poll before others join. When participants join, they are presented with the poll. This works for most devices. However on some iPads and iPhones, they see a small message that says "The host has started a poll" which stays on their screen for about 2 seconds. They do not see the poll.I have thoroughly tested using the latest updates.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a setting that needs to be changed on the participants device?

Lo hemos probado y hemos creado tantas pizarras como grupos y cuando compartimos un pizarra en una sala, al salir de deja de compartir la pizarra y ya no se puede seguir utilizándolo.Gracias!

HelloI'm trying to work out how, as host, I can enable people in the meeting to send private chat messages between themselves. I've clicked the drop down menu in chat but the option doesn't seem to be there. Do I need to pay monthly to aces this feature?Tia! 🙂

Planing of New Meeting in ZHoom-App (on Notebook) is not possibleDiscription: I open Zoom-App, everything looks as ever. But when I nlick the  the planing button, an empty white Pop-up windows (were I normally can put in all the necessary details) opens. It even is not possible to close that pop-up and I have to open task manager to close the zoom-app.Everything else on the computer works as ever. No problems with internet connection, no problems with any programm or system functions.I never had such a problem before.What I tried: I used the uninstall program (the uninstaller gave no feedback, just disappeared. I checked: the program wasn’t there anymore), installed the App anew - same problem., checked event viewer but didn’t find anything that could be relevant.Then I tried to click the Meeting button (in the Zoom-App) after I planned the Meeting in the Web-App, got an error code that I sent with the relevant button. As a participant in a Zoom  Meeting, the name that displays for me is my email address. I want to instead show my name. For example, suppose my email address is Zoomer@gmail.com, but my legal name is Joe Smith. It now  shows  “Zoomer@gmail.com”.  Instead, I want other participants to see “Joe Smith” as my name.

@608130 , it’s crucial to implement this feature promptly. I host daily meetings with 500 participants in large auditoriums, and the inability to adjust the font size of participants names is a major hindrance. As a result, we’re seriously considering switching to other platforms solely because of this limitation.

Hi, this is the first time I’ve had a downloading issue with Zoom for my recordings. I have a 9 minute long recording that still hasn’t downloaded after 30-40 minutes. Typically never have anything take this long. Is it something wrong with the file or am I just impatient.  Thanks

Currently, Zoom saves local recordings with folder names that tell us what the meeting name was and what date and time the recording was done. But these settings are not translated into file names. The file names seem more random. We have to move the recording around, e.g., upload it to Vimeo to be shared in other places, so we have to manually name the files by copying and pasting the folder name into the filename. This wastes time and creates the possibility of user error. Is there a way to get to set proper filenames using the meeting names and times? Shouldn't Zoom be doing this by default? 

Hi I joined a meeting as a guest (not logged in) and started recording the meeting to my PC after requesting permission.At the end of the call, I could not locate the recording at all. It’s not in the usual places like Documents>Zoom etc.I’ve read that if the host ends the call too quickly at the end, this could impact the recording downloading to the guests PC. Is this likely what’s happened here?

I have the free 40-minute version of Zoom.Does one need to set up specifically for recordings to be stored on one’s computer ? Where?I tried a few meeting test runs and afterwards can’t locate them anywhere on my computer (I don’t want the cloud storage, just my own laptop).Does anyone know how to store meeting recordings on one’s computer?

I am the owner of a Pro account since 2023. I had no need to use break-out rooms before. Now that my work requires break-out rooms I cannot find that feature. I’ve tried on my laptop and phone to no avail. I have email support, read articles, chatbot but no success. I have followed all the steps given by chatbot and the article that is: login into my account, go to the left had panel; click account management, click advance, click meetings there no such feature as break-out room under meeting to enable. what could be the problem?

I find it very distracting when the camera tracks my face in a meeting and the image of me in the frame appears to move along with my movement.  Is this a Zoom problem or an Apple issue (I am running Mac OS Tahoe)?  Is there something I can do to keep the screen static?  Thanks for your help.

Must resolve this remotely. No on-site audio technician.Zoom Meeting Configuration: Board ‘Meeting Room’ setting, Host / owner is remote. Presenter is a ‘Panelist’ in ‘Meeting Room’ with other people there.  Numerous people are off-site listening / viewing, sometimes commenting. Audio configuration in ‘Meeting Room’. Presenter wears a clip mic. There is another mic that picks up comments from those in the meeting room. Sound from both mics go through a mixer and into a dedicated speaker computer and it sends video and audio to Zoom-land. People in the ‘Meeting Room’ are NOT technical. Host is semi-technical.EVERYTHING WORKED FINE FOR MANY MONTHS. Yesterday it tanked. Yesterday: Presenter sounded like he was speaking in a cave. Knew something about changing settings and clicked (bottom left corner) on ‘Audio’ then saw Microphone Mode settings and then turned ON Noise Removal (default). Audio suddenly went back to the way it always was. Sounded great again.

Hi everyone, I hope I can get some ideas from you regarding the following: I have to conduct 3 meetings in a row, having in between a pause of just 20 min. and I have to record each meeting. Since after each meeting the computer must convert the recorded session, how can I start the next one, without affecting the quality of the one that is being converted and the other, that I have to start? Hi everyone 👋I’ve recently started hosting larger Zoom meetings (50+ participants) regularly, and I’m running into intermittent screen-sharing problems when more than one person tries to share at once in scheduled sessions. Sometimes the screen stops updating or participants report lag, even though my internet is stable.Before posting here I searched to see if others have asked about this already, but I didn’t find the exact scenario I’m experiencing. How does one find one's pin or set a pin number in one's zoom account.  The great brains at Zoom have not made this intuitive. 

After our zoom meetings, we send the recorded meeting to our users. However when they enter the secret code, they receive a message of wrong secret code and cannot access the recorded meeting. 

I got off the plan that cost $18/month because it had more bells and whistles than I needed and was offered Zoom basic for $7.99/month.  I am supposed to get four meetings per month that can go beyond 40 minutes, but in fact all of my meetings are being cut off at 40 minutes.  Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, have you found a solution besides just giving up on Zoom basic?  

I love Zoom. It’s the best webinar platform. HOWEVER, there are two features that I absolutely HATE:When I join a meeting, Zoom launches an extremely annoying calendar that I have absolutely no use for. I could ignore it, but I tend to close it because I don’t want it there. This is an extra step that‘s reminds me of when a person sticks a flyer on my car that I have absolutely no interest in: it’s like they’re saying, “Here, you throw this away.” [Mitch Hedberg] After leaving a meeting, ZΩOM KEEPS RUNNING FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. I don’t want apps running that I’m not using. No other app I use does this. I don’t understand why it’s doing this, other than so that I don’t have to relaunch it next time - BUT I WANT TO BE THE ONE TO DECIDE TO LEAVE IT RUNNING OR NOT.Is there a way to:Make the calendar NOT open when I join a meeting? Make Zoom QUIT COMPLETELY when I leave a meeting?

HiI have been teaching on zoom for 6 years - and yesterday I found the meeting links were not sent out. I did what I normally do - arrange a meeting, then click send email. No emails went… why could that be? Has anyone else suddenly found this? Thanks 

Recently, on 3 separate occasions, I logged in as a guest to another host’s scheduled meeting. When I clicked on the invite link, it logged me in multiple times, I appeared in the participant window as 3 times???- and I couldn’t close any of the “2 extras” and had to log out completely- but when I tried to re-enter the meeting the same problem occurred...ANY SUGGESTION OR HELP AS TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING???
