Does zoom have a simple calculator, NOT a graphic, calculus, or advanced calculator that I can use with children?

Starting October 23, 2026, Zoom Scheduler Basic will no longer be included with Zoom Workplace Basic and Pro plans. Hello. I am brand new to Zoom, although I did retire from a ~40-year IT career, so I am hopefully not completely ignorant of many of the concepts. My high school class is planning a reunion during 2027, and we would like to make it a hybrid live and remote participation event to accommodate some of our classmates who are no longer able to travel long distances. I viewed the introductory user videos on the Zoom learning portal, and I hoped to follow that with educational material on the basic concepts and skills for Zoom Meetings administration. I did find some course ware on that subject listed in the Zoom site, but it appears that it was all retired in March, 2026. I don’t see anything listed to replace it. Also, some of the user introduction guides were not as detailed as I had hoped. For example, I could not access a screenshot of the participants that showed the sidebar with their names. Community-sourcing! Personally, I’ve found that other than functioning as an aesthetically displeasing ‘skin’ with less access to intuitive operations and worse color contrast (that also disregards our previously-set branding choices and still fluctuates between Sentence case and Title Case with reckless abandon - classic Zoom), there’s no significant user/admin-facing functional difference between the ‘new experience’ and the old one (required migration on September 30th, 2026).I’m a grumpy-grump, but I’m ready to listen/learn. I am legitimately curious to know a.) if anyone finds the new experience to be a quality-of-life improvement and b.) why? I also expect that there are some changes under the hood that the new experience facilitates - would be great to hear from Zoom as to what we can expect with this in play after forced transitions at the end of the month.

Why would they do this? Now you have to open multiple tabs to get anything done in Zoom. Genuinely thinking of switching our company to Teams full time, why pay for a subscription that has over complicated itself for no reason. Not being able to find recordings, meetings, or webinars quickly and having to open a separate page for each one is ridiculous. Who even complained about the previous layout? Everything was where you could easily get to it.

Imagine 5 to 15 retired seniors meeting to be taught and/or discuss a subject of interest. Sometimes all parties are in their homes connecting by Zoom. Sometimes everyone except the speaker is in one room like a church social hall or the back room of a small restaurant with a large screen TV and an upgraded microphone/camera on a laptop. The problem is that most of the time there are a mix of people in the room on phones, tablets or laptops; There are also people in the room depending on a communal monitor, speaker, mike and camera to participate. Finally, there are some people trying to be in both worlds with a phone for speaker and mike, but using the monitor to see the group.  The pure groups work fine but the mixed groups have problems with not enough volume, not enough mike sensitivity and feedback. I am sure that part of the problem involves managing the layout of the groups but part of the problem is not having the right equipment. I am having an issue with a Zoom webhook event subscription. The endpoint URL is not being validated successfully, even though the endpoint is available and responding.
