If you are starting work today & have a message like this from Zoom in your inbox then you might be experiencing the new Zoom Web Experience for the first time when you try to change your settings or administer your account.

Confused? Don't worry, we put together a short explainer video a couple of months ago for A Piece of CX that you can find on our YouTube channel or in the comments below.

Once you get used to the new experience, you will find that your effort levels will reduce, the number of scrolls & clicks will reduce.

There are many similarities to the old style. I don’t think there is anything too drastic other than you are now required to switch to the Admin area and then back to Personal.

In my opinion, having Personal and then Admin all listed out on the same side was really nice and I will miss that.

I was just discussing this with a user on Reddit. The vast majority of users aren’t both personal & admin users, so this change will be minimal for them.

And with the vastness of the portfolio now, yes you’ve got an extra click to get between personal & admin, but the amount of scrolling is now greatly reduced, especially with the ability to pin favourites.
