Dear all

Please help me to as the service desk could help me with a file recovery that was deleted from trash.

I need this recording as its super vital for me i did it 12 MArch 2025 . Yet the service desk is limited by process and procedures and see no option but to say NO.

So I want to ask commuinity are there an option like in onedrive to go back in recover files that were deleted during last 30 days from trash bin?

thank you

If the recording was a Zoom cloud recording and it was deleted within the previous 30 days, Zoom provides a Trash feature that allows recovery, similar to OneDrive's recycle bin recovery.

However, for a recording deleted on March 12, 2025, that 30-day recovery window would have expired around April 11, 2025. As of today (July 27, 2026), it would no longer be recoverable through Zoom's Trash.

The only remaining possibilities would be if:

  • The recording was downloaded before deletion and still exists on another device.
  • It was backed up to another service (such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, or an enterprise backup solution).
  • Another meeting participant or account owner has a copy.
  • Your organization's IT department maintains independent backups outside of Zoom.

For a Zoom cloud recording deleted on March 12, 2025, there is no Zoom equivalent to OneDrive's long-term file recovery once the 30-day Trash retention period has passed. After that period, the recording is permanently deleted and cannot be restored through Zoom.
