AI Companion

All my meetings have the same topic in Zoom.  I am unable to edit the meeting topics.  Therefore unable to find a specific meeting without searching forever.  The suggested solution of editing the topic on the Meeting Summary page does not work. HELP!! 

How do I get the summary to write in British English with British spelling and not US spellings please?

To disable AI Meeting Summaries, contact your admin to turn it off.We have gathered some assets from your meeting earlier.”⸻However, Zoom AI Companion is turned off at the account level in the Zoom admin portal, as we do not allow Zoom AI to access or process our data.When I run /zoom config in Slack, I don’t see any option to disable these summaries either.Do you know how to stop this message from appearing?Thanks in advance!

I've turned on all the settings, set for auto-on, but no matter what I do, for every single meeting, I get the reminder to turn on the AI Companion and have to click the button. I just want it on, no request. Is this possible?

As a long-time devotee of note-taking, I'm loving the AI Meeting Summaries feature, but the AI could be doing a much better job at writing. If it were a truly chat-based AI, I'd be able to simply tell it what to change, and hopefully it would learn from my preferences for future session – but I'm not seeing that capability. (Can Zoom confirm this?) Are there any hidden settings to tweak the AI's note-taking skills? A few pet peeves:Names are shown as last-name followed by a non-grammatical comma. Better guideline would be first+last name on first mention, first name only on subsequent mentions IF only one user has that first name – and lose the superfluous comma.Most calls include some pre-agenda social chatter that really doesn't need to be summarized for the record. Hello Zoom Team,I would like to suggest a new feature to enhance meeting inclusivity and communication.Many users have names that are frequently mispronounced, which can create awkward or uncomfortable moments and hinder effective communication. To address this, when a user creates a Zoom account or manages their profile, they could type a phonetic breakdown of their name or upload a recording of how it is pronounced. Then, during meetings, participants could simply hover over a person’s name in the participant list or chat to see the phonetic spelling or hear the audio pronunciation. This feature would make it easy for everyone to learn and say names correctly without interrupting the meeting flow and would foster respectful communication, especially for users with unique or non-English names. Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe it would be a valuable addition to the Zoom AI Companion or Zoom Meetings product area

For a recurring meeting, I am the meeting host and I have an alternative host. For today's meeting, I was unable to join, so my alternative host lead the meeting. They recorded and clicked on the "Start Summary" button. After the meeting, I received the recording via email, but I have not received the "Meeting Summary with AI Companion" email (I checked my settings and the summary is set to only send it to me). The summary is not showing up in my list of Meeting Summaries on my Zoom web portal either. Where can I find the Meeting Summary if it's not emailed or in my Meeting Summaries list? Does "Meeting Summary with AI Companion" only work if the meeting host starts it (vs. an alternative host)?

I love the companion feature and use it often with most of the meetings. Before the update, I was able to pause it during meetings when private or irrelevant information was being discussed and start it once we arrived at the intention for the call. Please bring that option back. It made such a difference to have the option to "filter" out the personal from the business. Thank you 

I've been searching Settings but can't see how to turn AI Companion off, absolutely and completely. How do I do this?

Incredibly odd summary, where the AI notes referred to us throughout as the name of one of our main competitors.  How would this even happen? • Xxxxxx team to review the <Vendor name> proposal and pricing details.• Bob to schedule a follow-up meeting with xxxxxxx in September to discuss the proposal. • Xxxxxxx team to evaluate the impact of Vendor implementation on their project development.

I'm trying to help a user that has turned off otter AI in both zoom.us and otter.ai and she's still connected to it and it's still sending emails out.  Does anybody know of a setting I'm missing?

Hi all,I have 2 users in the same Zoom group reporting 2 different things then they turn on Zoom AI. User 1They turn on Zoom AI and everyone in the meeting is automatically muted and has their camera turned off until they agree to the recording via a prompt that shows on their screen. User 2Performs the same action and the meeting continues with no one being muted or having their camera turned off.I thought it was the setting under Recording notifications - Zoom clientsBut I change it to 'guest only' with the same result.  Anyone have an idea?

I can't figure out how to enable AI Companion for Docs and Whiteboard. I follow the instructions on the site I just can't find such a menu in my Account Settings. How can I fix this? 

Does anyone have recommendations for a note-taking app for breakout rooms within a Zoom meeting? I am meeting host and moderator but I can't be in all the breakout rooms to take notes. Is there a tool or extension that can be used within Zoom to do this?   Thanks!

Most of my calls are booked through Hubspot which is integrated with Zoom, and I have the AI Companion set to generate summaries automatically on all of my calls. This has been working just fine since the AI companion launched, however all of a sudden last week any calls that I had in Zoom that had been booked/created via Hubspot stopped having the AI companion start automatically. I have to manually start the companion for those calls. Calls that I create/start directly in Zoom have the companion start automatically. Is this happening to anyone else?

In our administration account I setup a meeting to automatically turn on AI companion and distribute the summaries to "All meeting invitees including those outside of our organization".  The invitees included "@yahoo" and "@gmail" invitees.  Upon completion of the meeting, the summary shows in the meeting summaries list in Zoom for the administrator as complete (I can see the summary).  However, none of the attendees on the call got an email (e.g. gmail) summary sent to them.  All of them are using free Zoom accoun Are summaries only sent to paid Zoom accounts?

My meeting summaries are automatically being deleted immediately after the meeting and are inaccessible.  My transcript list shows that there is a transcript logged but I can't click on it and the download button is greyed out.  Please advise on how to fix this issue.  I need the summaries and transcripts from every meetings to be saved and I need to access the past ones. 

Hello everyone, Do you know if there is a way to link the AI summary to Zaiper?Right now the best solution is to add the email summary to it, it's not clean but we can at least add the body of text, for notes and the next steps. Do any other options come to mind? Maybe with the webhook? Would that require beta App extensions or APIs?

Hello! I am super satisfied with work of an AI Companion BUT, only if it works... I just had several situation with AI Companion just didn't work even if I have him turned on manually and I have an option to automatically be turned on on every meeting. Please advise me when this issue will be solved because I am working with my clients and I NEED to have the summaries to bring them value. Right now I am considering to change the meeting software to Google Meet (because for me it's free) and buy an external notetaker. HELP! 🙂

Problem description:I am the organizer of Zoom meetings and use the web interface. I usually have no issues accessing meeting summaries, but the summary for a specific day won’t open.I can see it in the list, but the arrow button to open it doesn’t work.Summaries for other days open without any problems.I’ve tried using different browsers (Chrome, Edge) and reloading the page, but the issue persists.I also tried accessing it from another device and through the Zoom app, but the problem remains only for this particular summary.There’s no option to download the data or bypass the issue in the Reports section.Are there any known reasons or solutions for this issue?Additional information:Account level: Licensed versionOperating system and browsers used:Windows 10 pro, Chrome 131.0.6778.70Date and time of the meeting: Nov 2

Hi, I'm probably having a 50% success rate with AI companion actually generating a meeting summary. I get this message:  I apologize, we are unable to generate what you need because the input provided does not contain sufficient information. Please check whether the input is too brief or unclear. Meetings are 30 minutes. Very clear action items in the meeting. Typically these meetings are me and one other person. All my settings are set properly (cloud recordings, generate meeting summary, ai companion on from the start, etc.). Any idea what's going on? My next step is to get a different AI notetaker but would rather not pay for another tool. 

I used Zoom AI transcription services in Zoom phone with success 10 days ago. Yesterday, the platform no longer shows the AI diamond selections, my previous transcriptions are "poof" gone, and now when I make a call it is no longer transcribing. I checked settings, worked with the chatbot, worked with a live agent, and reset everything. Logged in again to see if it is in place and NO it is not. Tested it this morning and NO it is not working. Seriously? What did Zoom do that messed all of this up?!?

Hi, I'm using Zoom Workflow to send email notifications after the meeting ends. What I'm trying to figure out is how to choose email recipients based on the live meeting participants. Currently, the Gmail integration with Zoom Workflow doesn't allow me to select live participants for the email, which means I have to enter them manually. This will be an issue when each meeting has different participants.
