Hello, I am recording two events on different days. Could I create one Webinar link and use it for both occurrences? 10/23 from 12 pm - 6 pm 10/25 from 10 pm - 1 am @Everyone Thank you all in advance!
Hello, I am an admin who organises webinar events on the Zoom. I would like to know if there is an automated way to inform the users, who have already registered, about any changes that I make into the webinar description? I can inform them manually by email but please let me know if there is an automated way.Thank you
I am putting together a webinar in Zoom events that will include a number of short videos mixed among the live presenters. I don't see a way to cue videos for playing in Production Studio other than to screen-share them from a desktop. It would be much better to play the videos directly in Production Studio then to play them outside of Zoom via screen-share. Am I missing something? The other thing that I am hoping to do is to have overlays (for example, a transparent PNG) that I can show over an active speaker. I see the possibility of creating a scene in which a speaker is overlaid onto a background screen, but what I am looking for is the equivalent of a television chyron or lower-third. Is that option somewhere I am not seeing it? Thanks for your help.
Is it possible to host a simulive and then invite participants to breakroom if there are questions raised during the simulive?
Hello! Please see attached screenshot. It is a mock up I made and shows my issue clearer than I can explain.Goal: to not have two host videos seen by attendees when I choose the new screenshare layout option. How do I get rid of the small host video?I have only checked this with (1) attendee, I am not sure if the view changes with more than (1) attendees. Thank you for your brain power, in advance. Hi, I'm conducting a webinar and want to:a) present a few slides as host,b) turn it over to a co-host to present a few slidesc) then have a panel of 4 people take over, with all 4 always on screen/video,d) then take back over as host Is this possible? How do I control the camera that way? And if a host turns off mic and camera, do they still show up as a 'box' on the screen?
We created a webinar and we wanted to see if we could share video and audio at the same time (we figured it would be easy since we've been doing the same with our zoom meetings) During the practice session we tried to share video but the option to share audio is not clickable. The only other option was to share computer sound (which was not what we wanted). When we would play the video, there's no audio being heard by the panelists or anyone else in the room.
I converted a meeting to a webinar. All documentation and Zoom chatbot say the link changes but redirects - when it doesn't! I've sent an email inviting people with the zoom link, and now anyone who tries to access it is getting 404 as it converted the meeting to webinar and changed the link. What can be done so anyone clicking on the old link will be redirected to the new one?
Hi all, I've converted a zoom meeting to a webinar under the understanding that the old registration link will automatically redirect users to the new registration page to avoid any confusion by those who may open the first registration page (as directed by this zoom webpage https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0067900) however this does not seem to be the case. Instead users receive a "Uh Oh! You seem to have lost your way page" . Is anyone able to help? The meeting was set up with an automatically generated meeting ID
Hi, When I create a webinar there's now a sentence that appears on the registration page that I've never seen before. Does anyone know where I can find this sentence in the system to edit it? It says "Information you provide when registering will be shared with the account owner and host and can be used and shared by them in accordance with their Terms and Privacy Policy." We're getting a negative reaction about the word "share". It implies that we're sharing their personal information with others. I want to reword the sentence so that it doesn't alarm people. Also the anchor text "account owner" is not accurate anchor text to describe where the link goes. It does not go to information about the account owner. It goes to the Zoom article called "Understanding Zoom privacy alerts". (which in itself is confusing because it doesn't differentiate between attending meetings and attending webinars.) If we can't edit it, I suggest that Zoom reword it to something like
I am making webinar content for a non-profit advocacy purpose in my county. I sent an invitation to judges, police, administrators and others --- only to find some people reporting back that after registering, they were told to give a passcode ---- but I had disabled the passcode. All I can find in tutorials is to tell them to uninstall and reinstall Zoom. That's not an acceptable solution in this case.I disabled it in Account Management, Settings, Webinars, Security. Also in each scheduled event.Ruth J
Can an email be sent to hosts when someone registers for any date in a webinar series? We can click into each event to see the registrants, but I would like to know if we can surface those insights to the webinar host without a manual report pull. We’re trying to track who joins and attends per webinar session.
I have webinars set up with a waiting room (being webinars attendees can't join before the host). I use a Zoom registration page but I only use it to capture basic info so I can record attendance, I use other systems to register attendees and manage the communications. I collect first name, last name, email and an ID number from my organisation. When I enable that registration and attendees join before the host they go to page saying they're registered and sit there after the host has opened the webinar (unless they log in again or refresh the screen). I would like to have a waiting room enabled as it is now, and have the registration page so I can collect that basic data for attendance (the info Zoom collects automatically is not useful a lot of the time, I can't mark attendance when it records someone's name as '01897762' or 'Joe's iPad' when there are 3 Joes initially registered and not all have attended). So I would like people to enter the registration details and go str
We use the Marketo and Zoom api connection. After the Zoom Event concludes, Zoom should report the status of each person that registered as either "No Show" or "Attended Live". For the past 6 months, Zoom has reported all registrars as "No Show" except our internal team. The internal team includes the event creator and panelists. In order for Marketo to have the correct program status, we have to manually refresh the data from Zoom. After the manual refresh the "No Show" and "Attended Live" status are updated and corrected. All of our lead routing and post event emails are trigger based. We need the correct post event processes applied to the correct status. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Why is Zoom not pushing the correct attendance data the first time? How can we fix this issue?
Hello,I have created several webinars in Zoom. Now I see that there are different versions.Lite version and full version.Unfortunately, I can't find out how they differ. Does anyone from the forum here know? Best Regardstjamaker
If you create an event and unselect 'require a passcode', Zoom still asks for a passcode. There are endless threads on this with no working resolution. Even when I enable a passcode once again, the user will get an email saying meeting details have been updated, but the passcode doesn't work there either. Is anyone actually using this?
Hello! Previously, I could join a webinar using just the zoom id number: I could write it down on the webinar registration page, write my email, my name and click to register. After clicking to register, zoom app was automatically redirecting me to the webinar. Now, when I do the same procedure, after clicking to register, zoom page just says that I was successfully registered and that's it - it does not automatically redirect me to the zoom app and to the webinar. I have to log in to my email to find the link to the webinar (and I do not always receive the email actually). So, is it only with me or everyone is experiencing the same issue? Is it possible to bring back the previous easy and non-complicated procedure of being able to immediately join through the webinar ID by being redirected by zoom app to the webinar? Thank you!
I'm encountering an odd issue with Zoom Room in a Webinar setting in a city meeting environment. We connect to a Zoom Room instance in the AV Booth, and are promoted as a webinar panelist. Our "web camera" is accomplished using an Osprey SDI->USB device. Video settings for it are not set to mirror. Several other of our city clients use the same method. In one city, however, we've noticed the following oddity. AV booth return video to Zoom appears normally, until a screen share is initiated by in-chamber staff. Then our return video appears mirrored, but only for non-Zoom video participants (those delivered to broadcast and streaming). Zoom participants continue to see (correctly) unmirrored video. Once screen sharing is done, the camera orientation for non-Zoom participants returns to the expected unmirrored view. The Zoom room instance is managed by local IT, so (at present) I'm unable to confirm the current running version, but considering their normal diligence, it's lik

Hello, I am hosting a webinar (requiring webinar license), and we are uncertain of the number of registrants/attendees. It might be greater than 500 people, but it could also be greater than 1,000 people. Is it possible to send the webinar registration/invitation and then upgrade the license later as needed? To do that, would I have to send a new invitation/link (I'd want to avoid that)? Thank you!
We create multiple single session events usually 20 a month with anywhere between 250 to 1200 registrants or pre-registrants per event.Sometimes people leave companies or want to be removed from all events and we are having to log into each event and look for them under orders and registrants. Considering GDPR it should be easy to remove a registrant from all events. It would also be useful to look and see what events each registrant registered or attended. Currently you have to download reporting or pull info via API and hold it in a separate platform. Is this a design feature that is being considered, and would others find it useful?
How i can have support for this? I really need that... The event will happen today
We have discovered that unregistering an attendee actually moves them to the denied/blocked list, which prevents them from re-registering themselves again if they decide they can attend after all. Why in the world would Zoom move an unregistered attendee to the denied/blocked list, simply because they have canceled their registration? If someone cannot attend a live webinar that has limited capacity, we want them to free up their seat for someone else. This doesn't mean we want to deny/block them. Additionally, because we have an integration with Zoom from our learning management system (LMS), this causes loads of issues for us and our thousands upon thousands of customer-learners. If an unenrolled learner decides they can attend after all and re-enrolls, our LMS sends the enrollment data, but Zoom blocks the re-enrollment. This results in a disconnect in enrollment status between the LMS and Zoom. The learner thinks they're enrolled because they see t
We need to postpone a webinar from Thursday until next Tuesday. I'd like to start the webinar on Thursday and monitor for attendees who don't get word of the postponement. I want to use the same link (original link) on Tuesday. Can I start the webinar on Thursday and then re-start the webinar next Tuesday all using the same link?
