Zoom-7.0.00 for Linux. Impossible to use text input tool for whiteboard, since Zoom interprets non-latin letters incorrectly, as commands to switch focus or change tools.

I have ‘scheduling permission’ to schedule meetings for another Zoom account. In web browser view as well as Zoom workplace app on my desktop/laptop (Mac and Windows), I am able to see all my upcoming meetings - my own as well as those that I have scheduled for the other account (In Zoom workplace app on my desktop there’s a button to toggle between the two and I can see and access that).But in my iPhone mobile app, it is weird. When I uninstall the Zoom app on iPhone and reinstall it, I am first able to see all my upcoming meetings (my own and those scheduled for the other acct) under ‘Meetings’.HOWEVER, if I then close the iPhone app and reopen it, now I am able to see only my own upcoming meetings and not those I scheduled for the other acct (the ‘all meetings’ view I had earlier under Meetings disappears). Nor am I able to find any toggle button or pull down anywhere, where I can choose which account’s meetings it needs to display.I want to be able to see th

Is there ANY way WITHOUT ending the ongoing meeting to allow a removed participant to rejoin?

My recurring meetings have disappeared from App home page. they were there this morning and now gone. I can still see them on the desktop app and the links still work when clicke don to join but when I click open IOS zoom app they do not show on the home page - they have disappeared.I have about 10 recurring meeting all set to ‘no fixed time’. Can anyone tell me how to get them back showing in the app please? Thanks

I have the newest zoom update (5.11.0), and I really need to switch to dark mode because light mode is very straining to the eyes, especially with a huge iMac screen close to my face. however, the "dark" option is not available. in fact, the "theme" category is nowhere to be found in my settings on general in zoom.  where can I enable dark mode here in this?I use macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. pls, I need a quick answer to this, or i'll probably go blind after some time. 

I have a Zoom App in development currently showing as in draft and shareable internally within my organisation. Until a few days ago, I was able to complete the oauth flow for both the production and development client id and my app would show in the Zoom marketplace “Added Apps” as installed in both cases in the relevant tab “Apps in Production” and “Apps in Development” and it would show in the “Apps” section of the Zoom client. Since yesterday, with the app uninstalled, when I try to install the development app again I do not see the consent screen, the oauth flow succeeeds (I get a code back and exchange successfully for a token) but the app neiter appears on the marketplace under “Added Apps → “Apps in Development” nor in the Zoom Client under “Apps”. I have been looking this up and so far nothing conclusive. I did ask my Admin whether a setting has been changed on their side (not sure if their is a setting that would influence this?). I was wondering

Hi, I have trouble in showing dual monitor window. After some updates, zoom dual monitor has title bar. Because of that title bar, the screen does not show in full mode. It always show "zoom workplace"  letters in title bar. Can I hide title bar in dual monitor mode?

I’m new to using Zoom and still trying to understand its basic features. I’ve recently started attending online meetings and noticed that some people record sessions for later use. However, I’m not sure how this recording process works, who is allowed to record, and where the recordings are saved. Can someone explain in a simple way how to record meetings on Zoom and what steps I need to follow as a beginner?

Hello, I'm trying to record a class, I would like my students to see me talking, but I do not want the recording to include the faces of talking students. Ideally I'd share the screen as well as the host video camera, but when others speak it would still show only me, or alternatively a black box where they are. Is this an option, and if so how do I use it.

why are some recording files 3 to 5 times larger than others?we have several user accounts that record one-hour videos.one account generates one-hour video files that are 150MB.Another account's one-hour video would be 700MB. Why?

Hello, I am writing to request full native Wayland support and optimization for the Zoom Linux client. Currently, many users (including myself) experience issues with screen sharing, window management, and overall performance when using Wayland compositors (GNOME/Mutter, KDE/Kwin).Relying on XWayland is no longer a viable long-term solution as the Linux ecosystem is rapidly moving to Wayland by default. We need: Native PipeWire/Portal integration for screen sharing. Better resource management (CPU/RAM optimization) under Wayland. Fixes for screen flickering and window focus issues. This is critical for users on modern distributions like Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 and Fedora.

Hi Zoom community, I'm hoping you can help me with an issue we're experiencing lately. When we set meetings with an alternative host (in the same organization), they use their unique link to enter the meeting. However on doing so they are asked to register and then being told the host cannot register. They are then unable to enter the meeting at all unless using a different email address. Any advice in relation to this issue would be appreciated. Many thanks

I'm running online singing lessons using a Macbook Air, and always have original sound for musicians enabled so that my voice doesn't cut out and I can play the piano at the same time. Of late - the last month or so - I find my students are complaining they can't hear me. I'm too quiet. I've tried increasing the microphone input, but it's on its max. The automatic adjustment doesn't work either. Am I missing a new setting somewhere? 

I have a profile picture on Zoom that transfers to my Weight Watchers profile but it won’t activate when I’m in a Workshop. Any tips? 

My company is having problems with the participant 'filmstrip' changing to a much smaller size during screen shares for our video recordings even though this area is set to a larger size during the recording and we see it as larger.  We primarily utilize the desktop client on Windows 10 or 11. Our investigations indicate that adjusting the bar that separates the participant area from the screenshare area can help but still doesn't reflect the ratio we see on our screens.  Also, when another participant shares their screen, the participants videos/the strip of videos, resets to a smaller size.  Is there a method to ensure a consistent participant view size throughout the recording, preventing it from shrinking excessively?    

my zoom comments i need to update

Hello,I was recording a meeting to the cloud and my computer battery died and shut down before the meeting ended. I was the meeting host. I cannot find the recording anywhere-- on the cloud or on my local computer. Anyone have this happen before or have an idea of how to recover or find the recoding? I thought that if it was recording to the cloud it would still be saved somewhere even if my computer died.

Hi, Zoom causes a lot of issues on Linux. I am using the latest official Zoom from Manjaro’s repositories. Or Flatpak. Doesn’t matter, these issues appear in both of them. They are very frustrating.1. Screensharing only works with “Pipewire” mode. Sharing mode keeps getting reset to "Auto", which means after one screen share, if I want to share again, its just a black window. This happened to me during surgery planning, and that was really really bad and embarrassing. My colleagues could not see the MRI, and the chief surgeon/scientist lost patience. This is unacceptable. We pay for Zoom.2. Everytime someone starts or stops a screenshare, regardless of any KDE window settings, even if I am in the middle of typing something in a terminal or working on a document or something, it switches to the Zoom window/virtual desktop without asking. I have receiving the error=1 in Android Zoom SDK. I have integrated with the help of this GITHUB link - https://github.com/zoom/zoom-sdk-android?tab=readme-ov-file I have changed target SDK 33 to 34 and new changes in gradle. In 33 SDK and gradle all is working fine and the user can also join the meeting. But this same flow is not working in 34 SDK. I have received Error_code=1 I have researched many sites and AI and I found mobilertc.aar and commonlylib this two file I need new file which is support in SDK34 and grandle. FYI - Old .aar and commonlylib are not worked and app has been crashed.Thanks, Pankaj
