For the life of me, I can't seem to get the right image size for a Zoom background. From what I've read, the recommended pixel size is 1920X1080. My photo app says the image I'm uploading for a background is 1920x1080, but when I set it for my background, I end up with black bars on the right & left sizes which the help files says indicates "wrong size". Any suggestions welcome. I've uploaded the desired background photo in png format (have tried JPG too which behaves the same way) and also a screen grab of what the background looks like with it's black bars. Any/all suggestions appreciated. Platform I'm on is a windows 10 PC, no green screen if that makes any difference. I've got the most recent Zoom client version, too.

My laptop internet speed decrease to  11 Mbps from  100Mbps when I connect to zoom. please help to resolve this problem.

Hello,I'm running into a persistent issue on my Windows 11 PC with the latest version of the Zoom desktop client.Every few minutes, I receive an error notification that says: "zoom.exe is using VCRUNTIME140_1.dll from unknown publisher"I get the same message for other related DLLs, such as MSVCP140.dll.To troubleshoot this, I have already tried the following steps without success:Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom application.Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages (both x86 and x64).Run sfc /scannow command.Despite these actions, the error messages continue to appear. Could anyone provide some assistance or suggest other solutions I might try?Thank you.

Hi there, I'm on the latest version of Zoom. I am using my company's Zoom subscription as an employee. I am looking to annotate a customer's screen when they share their screen, but the green pencil annotate tool is not appearing anywhere.Steps already taken:1. Enabled Annotation in the Settings2. I made sure that any user can annotate (not just the host)3. I tested this on myself Can someone help with this? Thank you!

I teach a group Pilates class virtually with Zoom.  I would like to purchase a microphone, but not sure which one would be best for my needs.  Wireless, maybe music, maybe no music.  

Whenever I start a new meeting the meeting ID and passcode change. How can I obtain only one meeting ID and one passcode?

Hi Everyone!  Is there a way to duplicate a zoom meeting?  I have a meeting with lots of predefined breakout rooms and was hoping i wouldn't have to do that setup each time a meeting like this is needed.  Thanks!

I am conducting a meeting with another participant, and both of us are using an iPhone as our camera. During the meeting, the video quality is excellent. The session is recorded. However, once the meeting has ended and the video is converted, the quality noticeably decreases. Could you explain why this occurs? I would like the video quality to remain at the same high level.

I regularly use zoom on my Mac and suddenly it stopped working, it doesn't log in to my account and doesn't let me join a meeting. it sends me a connection error and I don't know what to do. I tried with different Wi-fi networks and still doesn't work.

since updating Zoom a few days ago I've been experiencing serious issues that prevent me from using the platform properly on my computer:I can't join meetings, or it takes a very long time to connect.when i finally get in, the software either freezes or my camera is disabledi haven't been able to use Zoom on my computer at all since the update.additionally, Workpalce is not working at all - it keeps asking for a password, and even after i enter the verification code i received by email, the software doesn't accept it.i can join meetings from my phone,  but it's very inconvenient for work and significantly slows me down.i'd really appreciate any urgent help or suggestions to fix this

When I press the camera icon (Video) when I start hosting a meeting. a dialogue box states: "No cameras detected. Plug in device and retry.... OR:"Zoom is unable to detect a camera. Make sure that your camera is powered on and is connected to your computer." I use the camera in the computer so there is no need to plug a camera in. Recently I haven't been able to access the camera at all, but intermittently, for no reason, the camera DOES work!  Nothing's been changed! One of Zoom's suggestions is to check that the camera is not being used by any apps.  How can I check this out?   I teach students in China using Voov - can't access the camera in those calls either.  SO FRUSTRATING!!  

Longtime zoom user for work as an attorney. My PC build combination is a 5070 GPU/9800X3D CPU. All drivers/bios/Windows 11/Zoom are up to date. I’ve tried configuring every setting imaginable to fix this, including unselecting hardware acceleration for receiving video in the zoom application settings-nothing fixes the issue. Audio does not freeze and the videos aren’t freezing from the participant end, only my view of them which is incredibly distracting. I’ve tried tweaking every setting I can possible think of/find. My camera/internet connection has not changed and the application barely puts a dent in my memory/CPU. I manually ensured my GPU is selected in the Nvidia Application Control Center for Zoom. Is there any other suggested fix for this?

Hi,  The personal setting stated: allow participants to join anytime.   However, they can only join at 9:20.  Please help.

I need to share the full desktop of my pc, not the single document... I am a teacher and I work with different files of different programm,I switch from one to the other one, and I can add some docs also during the lesson. In the past,  there was the opiton: share the screen or part of it.   Why did it disappear? Thank you

I use Zoom for teaching online piano lessons. With nearly everyone the original sound setting works very well, but with one pupil, as soon as he enables original sound his audio becomes almost inaudibly quiet. He's using a Samsung M53 for the meeting. He says he can't access a microphone audio level setting on the phone once the meeting is running. Any ideas?

I have just installed Ubuntu 22.04 on my PC, I previously used Ubuntu 20.04. Since the OS upgrade, and reinstallation of the Zoom client, I can no longer use Virtual Background. If I go to Settings and select Virtual Background I can see the images available (including some of my own that I added. Then nothing until the "I have a green screen" checkbox. This is actually new behaviour as earlier this morning it showed the colour of the green screen, although it wasn't green and clicking on the colour did nothing, i.e. I was not shown any colours to select. Confusingly, if I select an image, I see that image as my background while in the Virtual Background menu option. However, when I go to the Video option, all I see as my background is my green screen. Hello. I work for a corporation. Every time it installs a Zoom update, I need to change two things...1. I need to change the display to HD Quality and 2. Dual Monitors needs to be turned on. Today, after installing a new version, i turned on the HD Quality but the "dual monitors" is no longer in the same place (Settings, General). Was it moved? When I do a search for "dual monitors" in Settings, it does not show where to turn it on.  I use Zoom daily and need it to work with both my monitors.  Thanks, Ken

I have a new Dell laptop and just installed zoom. (Zoom would never work on my lenovo). However, the integrated camera does not turn on. The white light turns on as if the camera was working, but there is no actual video, only a camera with a line through it. When I go to the settings, the only camera option it gives me is "USB Camer". I have no idea why and i obviously don't have a camera connected through a USB. I tried restarting. My settings already give permission to access camera. What else can i do?

I have a process where I need to copy the text from the AI generated smart chapter text and paste it into a document. I have never had a problem until this week. Step one - I go to the first smart chapter, select it and then move the cursor down to where the summary is displayed below it and copy and paste it into my document. Step two - I try to do the same thing for chapter 2. I select it and the text I need to copy is displayed, however, if I move my cursor off of the chapter so I can select the text I need to copy, it instantly reverts back to the text from the first chapter. Thanks in advance for any help!
