Could you please enable for Full HD or HD video in meeting 

Suddenly, my mic is not working when I host.  I can hear the other person, but they cannot hear me.I am careful that the mic icon in the lower left is not turned off.One suggestion states I should go to my icon picture in the upper right and pull down the "Settings" - but I do not have that option.I have turned off, unplugged, and re-plugged my computer, that does not solve the problem.Other ideas?Thanks

Hi. I turned on the setting "Mute All" participants upon entry on my main settings and it doesn't work. Participants are still unmuted. Does that option only work with certain zoom versions? A quick response is highly appreciated. Thanks! 

Just bought a new iPad and I cannot connect to any Zoom meetings either through link or entering the Meeting ID. I receive the below message:   I can host a meeting on my iPad and people can join, but I am unable to join others. Here are the troubleshooting steps I took:   1. Ensured I am on WiFi and connected (was able to log onto other sites, including zoom.us) 2. Deleted and re-downloaded the Zoom app to ensure I have the latest version. 3. I noticed a lot of support mention Firewall, but gave no instructions how to adjust these settings on an iPhone/iPad.   Any help is appreciated as I literally only bought this device for Zoom Meetings. Very frustrated.   Thanks!    

My Zoom version is 6.1.6 (43767), used on a windows desktop 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz.I use the desktop app : Zoom WorkplaceEverything worked fine until I was forced to update my Zoom desktop app to 6.1.6. 10 days ago. The problem is:While sharing a power point presentation (slide show) with students, if I play an audio file inserted in that presentation, the students can’t hear a thing.I can hear the audio document although the volume appears down.Students can still hear me talk and I can hear them.The situation is the same on one screen or extended screen. Surprisingly, a small number of ppt presentation work fine but the majority don’t.I use the same software (MS ppt) and the audio files are all mp3 format.So, I can’t understand why that is happening (sound being shared in some ppt documents and not in others)

I am the host of the meetings, and with some of my students it happens that their camera is functioning in the main room, but as soon they enter the Breakout room their camera switches off and only a black screen is show. Back in the main room their camera is on again (but sometimes not even).And it happens sometimes the other way around: the camera works in the breakout room, but when being back in the main room the camera is off/black. Anyone an idea what is going wrong and how to solve this?

Hello, my Zoom keeps shutting down and reloading on its own in the middle of my calls. It will close and immediately reopen and rejoin the call. It does this about 2-4 times per call. 

Why can't we just close Zoom with one click, like 90% of the other Windows applications?Why do I have to click a bunch of tiny icons a bunch of extra times to exit Zoom for real?What benefit does this give to the user? And no, checking the option to not minimize when exiting doesn't work.  Some product manager at Zoom decided they need to make everyone leave their app open as long as possible, as often as possible.  It's disgusting

I have my password for signing in..however if someone asks to join the meeting..after entering the zoom id, they are asked for a password..how can I get a password for people joining my meeting?

Hello all zoomers,  I am writing this with deep and utter profound sadness that the video filters have seemingly been removed without prior notice and provocation. It makes me just visibly frustrated at the lack of forethought on behalf of the tech support that they would do such a thing to the community. What am I missing? I am not as upset as my satirical message may have lead one to believe, but I am filled with snark today because the Zoom Support (and I use the term support loosely in this case) isn't as foretelling and forthcoming as one might have expected. 

I host meetings from the Zoom desktop app for Windows. I have the latest version 5.10.4. My settings are set that an attendee is unable to join via browser meaning they must join the meeting with the Zoom app (which I know is required for remote control).  My attendee was sharing her screen but when I asked her if I could have remote control, she said she didn't have a remote control icon in her Zoom menu? When I clicked on the drop - down next to 'view options' on my computer, there was no 'request remote control' option for me there either - which there usually is. This Zoom support article at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/208072316-Using-Remote-support-session says that one of the pre-requisites is that the

I have Logitech, Inc. C920 HD Pro Webcam which was working fine with Zoom and Linux Mint 21. After upgrading to Linux Mint 22 my microphone started acting up. The sound is garbled so bad that you can't understand what I am talking. The webcam works just fine with Skype for Linux and some other apps that are using it. I tried troubleshooting the issue myself - uninstalling Zoom, installing the latest version, and trying it again. Nothing helped so far. Does anyone have an idea how can I fix the issue? Hi all,I've had multiple different laptops (all on Windows 11), with different manufacturers, and zoom crashes on all of them. Windows freeze, it shuts itself down & reopens again about once every 20 minutes...I have a friend who has a desktop (gaming orientated), who experiences the same issues, so it's not laptop-specific.Machines are rock-stable on everything else, so it's just a Zoom-centric issue. Is there a known issue with machines using NVIDIA drivers?

I teach online using Zoom.  I want to be able to share an application on my screen for my students to see but then work on other windows while they continue to see the application.  I don't want to just share the whole screen, as this means that the application that the students are working on will vanish from view or be obscured by other windows.  I was able to do this with no problems until a recent update of Zoom.  I get the message "Please move this window from the shared application" and students see black rectangles on their screens.  If I maximise the window that I'm not sharing, the students' screens simply turn black.  It's exasperating that this was working fine until Zoom was updated. I'm using a PC with the following details: Windows Version Windows 11 Pro, last updated 7/9/24, OS Builds 22621.3880 and 22631.3880 Graphics Card Intel (R), Iris (R), Xe Graphics Driver:

I want my microphone on/off status to be displayed even when it is minimized.It became inconvenient because the above function was cut in some version upgrade.

Has anyone noticed problems with the Zoom Desktop Application?  It started a few weeks ago when I tried to schedule a meeting using the Desktop app on my PC (which I usually do) and the meeting would not appear on the calendar side bar of upcoming meetings.   The only way to schedule the meeting is to use the Zoom web portal or Zoom on my phone.  I've tried one uninstall and reinstall.  Is this a known issue?

I have a new HP Spectre x 360 laptop with an Intel core i7-1139OH processor, 512 GB Intel SSD +32 GB memory which runs on Windows 11. I am a music teacher. When I speak into the microphone, the sound is fine. But when I play the piano, the piano mutes. Specifically, when I play a note on the piano, the recipient hears a short thunk. If I play a scale or arpeggio, the following notes are totally silenced. No combination of settings for original sound, high-fidelity music mode, signal processing by Windows drivers and echo-cancellation has resolved this problem. I took the laptop to the Geek Squad and they reinstalled Windows 11. If I revert to my old  Dell computer running Windows 10, Zoom works fine. Any clues as to how to fix the problem in Windows 11?

I often use chimes and gongs in my meetings. The sound does not register though I have tried different settings.  Suggestions? Thank you for your help!

I use several virtual meeting platforms and use the same webcam for all platforms. Whenever I am using Zoom, my video appears that I am closer to the camera, showing just my head and shoulders. When I am using Teams or WebEx, the same camera shows my head and upper torso. Because many of my colleagues are Deaf, I use sign language to communicate, but I have to back up my chair every time I want to sign something so they can see my signs. My camera only shows this close up view when using Zoom. Is there a way a can manually manipulate the camera to zoom out, so I appear farther from my camera? I'm using a basic Logi webcam. Not sure if the make of the camera matters since this only happens when we are on Zoom. 

For about a week now, when I start a meeting I get the "unable to connect" message.  I have a stable internet connection and no firewall or proxy. I've been using Zoom since 2014 and this has never happened before. I've reported this problem twice and have not received any response from Zoom. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? It's interfering with my volunteer work.

I just upgraded from a (1st gen) iPad Air to a 10th gen. iPad and Zoom doesn't work as well on the newer iPad.Specifically I cannot write anymore on shared scanned documents, whereas on the older iPad I can still do that. Why? How can I fix this? I need to make this work on the new device.I teach on Zoom and it is important to be able to write on the handouts on screen.On the old iPad, when I share a picture, the pencil icon appears in the corner and after clicking the icon the annotation menu opens up allowing me to write, doodle, etc.; on the new iPad, when sharing a picture, the pencil icon is nowhere to be found.However when sharing the whiteboard, the annotation menu works fine on both the old & the new iPads.I checked and annotation is activated in my account (Zoom One Basic).Zoom version running on both iPads is 5.17.5 (13040).Thanks for your help.

Hi! I have some clients on Zoom who only have access to a phone and I need to be able to hear them and a music track they play at the same time. I can hear both them and the track just fine, but the music becomes super quiet on their end so it's very hard for them to hear anything that isn't me. Is there a way to bypass this? These clients are using an iPhone.
