Hi, We have encountered an issue where a Zoom Room no longer shows a reoccurring meeting, but this meeting is still visible in the Microsoft Outlook calendars of the people who attend this meeting. Theres been no evidence of the meeting being cancelled, and checking the zoom portal outlook is set up to share its calendar with zoom for the people affected. Is there anything we can troubleshoot to prevent such an issue from happening or find out why the reoccurring meeting was removed from the Zoom Room? Thanks

The video processing tools feel biased against those with darker skin tones. Zoom is an integral part of work and how we do business. Careers depend how one shows up on Zoom in meeting and interviews. Sadly, Zoom does not seem to be able to handle lighting adjustments for people with darker skin tones.  The person is either too dark or over exposed.  As a result, darker skinned folks tend to have their cameras off more often which creates disengagement.  This has a tremendous impact on work and society.  It means that people with darker skin tones have to work harder at work to look good on Zoom.  It means that diversity takes a back seat in the workplace.  With all of the available video processing tools, this should not be an issue at all.  This feels like a testing bias that could easily be remedied once you are aware of the challenge.

Tonight I was unable to hold a meeting due to an echo from 4 out of the 5 particpants.  We tried turning off each microphone, changing hosts, restarting our computers, and leaving the meeting and signing in again.  We finally gave up. What is going on with Zoom?

Hello! I have an Acer Aspire Lite AL15-42P-R41D laptop. While in a Zoom conference, the laptop periodically reboots (1-2 times every hour). The conflict only occurs when using Zoom. There are no issues with other applications, this has been 100% verified. I completely reinstalled the operating system; it is not the issue. Is there a solution to this problem?

Zoom will not open on my iMac with Sequoia OS.   I get an error message  "You can’t open the application “zoom.us” because this application is not supported on this Mac.I try to open it via Safari and I get distorted audio which seems to interfere with other members of meeting.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but it does not work.

It looks like Zoom has determined that the entire world is incorrect with the definition of "Minimize" and has taken it upon themselves to rewrite the definition, for their own purposes. When you click minimize and you expect it to, um, I don't know....MINIMIZE, it instead gives you a little useless window that has top focus above your other apps.  Well, here is my personal opinion:  #FAIL It's really just a bad idea. How do I disable this annoying "feature"? Please, for the love of God, just    MAKE.    IT.    GO.    AWAY.

While zooming I tried to access an online gaming website, it was legal to share in class but when I shared it the connection was not good. Hi, I've seen various posts about messages in the waiting room and sending messages to invitees when a meeting is cancelled, but my need is as follows:I run a ukulele club which uses Zoom for remote attendees. Occasionally, I need to inform members that the session isn't taking place on a particular week. The problem is that the Zoom meeting number is known by a lot of people, not all of whom I have contact details for.Therefore, I need to set up a message informing people when they enter the meeting that the session is cancelled. I don't use a waiting room as I don't want to be constantly admitting people during playing songs, as not all are able to join the sessions right at the start.Is there something like a pop-up screen that I can use to put a message on?ThanksPaul

I am going to use zoom on my samsung tablet but I was hoping to be able to see the chat screen and the video participants at the same time. I can't figure out how to do it. Please help!

It feels like this thing takes half of my screen, and I just can't work and show something when it's there. There's the "quick" shortcut 'ctrl+shift+alt h' (couldn't you add more keys to it?!).However, 'esc' also pops it back. Naturally(??), 'esc' is a common key in my workflow. Whenever I press it, the stupid bar pops up again.I think I recall an auto-hide function, where only when the cursor was on the top edge of the screen, the bar would show, like it happens in common remote share screens like "remote desktop."Who's the genius responsible for the new design??

How do I hide the tool bar , my students find very annoying to see the black bar on their screen whenever I share screen, Tq.

I want to live stream a church service using Zoom to those unable to attend in person. I have a MacBook Pro using MacOS Ventura 13.5. I used to have no problem with my old MacBook before I bought my new one.  The last time I did it - using the new MacBook - those attending by Zoom could only hear the Minister who wore a microphone and could not hear the organ music nor the congregation singing the hymns. What settings do I need to use to ensure people attending via Zoom can hear the whole service, including the loud music and hymns, as well as those reading the readings and delivering the sermon? I usually start a Zoom service via the web on Safari. Is this the best way?

I am on Zoom Workplace Pro Plus. I am the meeting Host. I want both myself and my participant/s to get an email one hour before the meeting is due to commence. I have gone through the various suggestions by Zoom AI as well as from previous discussions on this forum, but each and every one leads me down a rabbit hole that ultimately does not work. I'm sure there is a very simple process...if someone can please give me a basic step-by-step instruction? Thank you.

这是一个建议！有几年的ZOOM使用经验的IT人员，对于IT人员，功能变得丰富是很多公司及技术人员的追求，但是作为一个普通用户，太多的设置及毫无理由的配置配置项目及位置让用户很是费劲。希望这些建议能帮助ZOOM：1 不要去追求AI这种虚无的功能，大部分用户需要的是一个简单，通畅的会议系统，如果你们认为AI是一个销售卖点，单独做一个客户端去满足那些人；基本版本尽量简单明了2 后端的ADMIN服务器配置做得非常失败，团队需要一个优秀的界面/功能架构师，不要做很多并不重要的配置项在一个界面中，对于大部分人都需要的设置，放在一个页面表达，有很多界面优秀的范本在互联网，看看别人怎么做菜单架构的3 不知道是不是政治的需求，大陆的参与者经常遇到普通ZOOM无法登陆的模型，这个操作在用户ADMIN设置里面好像毫无办法，要么开放这个配置功能，要么把技术处理简化了，我就是要去中国的参与者不受这种拦阻，不需要再来找订阅的管理员一个同意 另外看见某些新闻ZOOM被讨论如何不安全，有官司赔了不少银子，个人理解这种事情就跟遇到一个有礼貌的土匪一样，我也没办法，有些地方是比官大，有些地方是比谁的律师更贵，到处都有不讲理的匪类，毕竟ZOOM目前已经很受祝福，销售规模完全就覆盖了被人打劫这样的损失，但是在常规的技术线路上，请保持会议品质为第一位，很多技术层面讨论的安全性，就是某个无知的官员询问你的软件是否需要加入WIFI一样的白痴问题。个人是希望我的ZOOM服务器可以让全球及中国的客户都有良好的通信体验，但是服务器端我自己看不出任何可以自己选择或调整的项目，能否把推销市场的这些资源节约一点界面，提供一个参会人员通信品质的总结报告，并且按照这些报告ZOOM可以提供策略帮助用户来做一些调整，这样的功能也许才是AI可以使用的范畴。谢谢你们的努力！顺便说一下，这个世界有绝对的安全，但是不是IT这个层面明白的安全合规，没有人私下讲的话可以被永久隐藏，用心尊重客户跟满足虚假的安全合规更重要

The built-in microphone (on my laptop) works fine when tested in Zoom settings, however, when I enter an actual Zoom meeting it does not.  I use Windows 8.  Have reinstalled Zoom. Did not help. I have to resort to using an external microphone.  Any ideas? 

I recorded a meeting to the cloud, but at the time I did not have zoom Pro. Once the meeting was over I purchased the Pro option so I could get access to the cloud but I still can’t find the recording. Is there any way I can access the recording even though it was done before the cloud purchase. 

Hi, I joined a Zoom meeting as a guest (not signed in). The host was having trouble recording, so I selected "Record" on my side. I heard the Zoom audio message confirming that the recording had started.When the meeting ended, I lef the meeting, and I never saw any message about it processing or saving. But I did see a message to sign in to see your recording. No file shows up on my device and nothing appears in my Zoom account.Is it possible to recover this recording in this situation — when the participant was a guest and the recording may not have finished processing?Any guidance would be appreciated, I cannot get any live person from Zoom to help me.Sent from my iPhone
