I join a weekly writing group and discussion. Lately, I can hear some participants but not others. Sometimes, I can hear "Gail," but if she speaks again later, I won't be able to. I know it's on my end bc I can see everyone reacting to her. Help!

I'm a public speaking instructor, and hold live Zoom sessions to listen to my students' speeches. I have my settings set up so that participants can record on their computers, and I can also record to the Cloud. Last year, everything worked just fine...but now, for some reason none of the students are able to record on their computers, even though the program says, "Recording in progress." I'm NOT intentionally recording their speeches unless they get a notice that they can't record from their end...and yet, their speeches are recording to the Cloud, but not recording on their end. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Hi - I have just switched PCs (from Windows 10 to Windows 11) and have developed a new problem > when I share content on a second screen (e.g. PowerPoint slide show) my Zoom gallery window disappears on my main screen and I am left with just a floating control bar - I need to be able see all the meeting participants when sharing in this way as I often share my second screen throughout a meeting - any suggestions for fixing this? Help please!

How do I set a basic Webinar for free?

Yes I know the alternative host needs to be in your same organization- and they are. im creating zoom rooms with alternative hosts that are a part of the same plan (we're all under a university) and some accounts zoom recognizes and zoom doesnt recognize other accounts. i know for a fact the emails that aren't working have been attached to a zoom account, so im not sure what the problem could be. is there any service i could use to manually appeal this, and get those zoom accounts registered? or is there no way? 

I had a zoom workplace trial and recorded a meeting.  Now that the trial is done, I don't see the recording in my account.  Is it retrievable if I sign back up for pro again?

Up until recently, Zoom would email alternate hosts when a cloud recording was ready. Now I get them (as I'm the meeting host) but none of the alt hosts do. This post references a setting that apparently no longer exists:https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/How-to-send-alert-via-email-of-ready-meeting-recording/m-p/132666 Was that functionality removed? If so, what are my alternatives? 

I have a regular Zoom that I always record to the cloud. Normally, the downloaded videos are 720p, but the most recent one was only 360p. The only difference that I can think of is that I was unable to attend, but that shouldn't matter since it's recorded to the cloud anyway. Very frustrating... Tim King

Hi there! I have been connecting to Zoom my videoconferencing device (LifeSize Team220) many times (since 2020). But last friday I am not being able to connect to it anymore! I have no idea what will happened since then. Could it be that Zoom did an upgrade of their service so my Lifesize equipment has been left out of service...? Does anyone else in this group has experienced something similar? Hello, I’m using a Mac and recently I haven’t been able to log in to the Zoom desktop app. I get error code 1132 every time I try (I’ve tested with different accounts).I’ve already:– Uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom– Checked firewall and security settings– Tried both Apple Silicon and Intel versions– Used Safari to log in via web (it works)But the desktop app still won’t let me log in.Is there a solution for free users to fix this?Thank you!

Hi there, I hope someone can help me with some advice. I have started a free monthly "Gathering Space" on zoom. During the first one, for which I registered participants via Eventbrite, someone sent an abusive message. I was not clear whether it was the person it seemed to be or note, as when I sent a DM reply, an automatic message popped up to say "your message cannot be delivered to XXXX as XXXX is not in the meeting", but I could very clearly see and hear XXXX in the meeting". I have dealt with this and won't dwell anymore but I share it because it means I wanted more security. I set up my next meeting on Zoom, and promoted registration it via linked in events .   We are using the Zoom API endpoint: GET /report/meetings/#{zoom_api_uuid}/participants?include_fields=registrant_id We are trying to retrieve the list of all participants for a specific meeting. However, the response only includes the host's information — other participants who were present in the meeting are not returned by the API, even though their details are visible in the Zoom dashboard for the same meeting. Request:Please help us understand why the participant data is missing from the API response and how we can retrieve the full list of attendees programmatically.

Hello, I'm a 77-year old grandmother trying to open a 2nd free zoom account on my laptop.  I chose the new email address I NEED to use, entered it and got to "prove you're a human."  I have very poor eyesight so use the "Play" (vocalizes partial sentences then typed into text box.  4 in a row had such terrible audio, it was hopeless to hear.  I could hear try #5,  I entered what I heard, and hit "verify," then "send email code."  It arrived so late it expired. After a few tries, "resend" wouldn't let me try again.  I have tried ALL the things that are suggested on this website to fix it and NONE work.  I NEED this 2nd account to be opened with the EXACT SAME #2 email address I had chosen, the one that has all these problems.  What are my options?  MANY thanks!

Hi, I am using Zoom on a M1 Pro Macbook. As a camera I have a Sony A6400 connected to an Elgato 4KX Capture Card. Everything worked fine, until the last zoom update. Since then the camera is squished in zoom and in zoom only. The proportions are totally off and therefore my video pretty much useless in Zoom. Any advice on how to fix this? Best regards, Ben

I have a platform that integrates with a Zoom Business account, and I need help configuring a specific meeting flow. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: I want to automatically create Zoom meeting links when two users book a session on my platform. These meetings should allow both users to join and interact via the generated link without requiring the admin/host to start or join the meeting. The meeting is scheduled for a future time, and the link is stored in our database so both users can access it when the session begins. After the meeting, I want to generate AI-based meeting notes and store them or provide them as a downloadable file on my platform. Currently, the meetings we create require the host to join first before others can enter. I recently upgrade to a Zoom license in order to be able to use the remote control option for users at my job. However, when a user shares their screen, I don't see that option. I have looked at all the settings and turned on what, I think, is necessary and what another licensed user has, and can use the remote control option, but it still doesn't appear. What setting or option am I missing?

Zoom Workspace started to have performance issues on my Mac Book Pro 2018, Intel. Before it worked great for years. Recently, 5 min into the call it begins to degrade audio and video, audio begins to stutter and I have to switch to iPad. This is not a network issue, my iPad and iPhone work great on the same wifi. I'm the owner of our enterprise account. We use zoom to conduct court hearings. Each of our hearing examiners schedules one meeting daily, with the waiting room enabled. Multiple hearings are conducted during each daily meeting. All participants (attorneys, defendants, agents, etc) are required to join at the start of the daily meeting and remain in the waiting room until their docket is called. The hearing examiner (host) controls participants by admitting them from the waiting room as the dockets are called. When a hearing concludes, the hearing examiner (host) moves the participants back to the waiting room. There are occasions where hearings are rolled over to another day, meaning the respective participants are never admitted to the meeting from the waiting room. Meeting attendance reports are used to determine sanctions in the cases where a participant fails to report (doesn't join the meeting). Recently users have reported that participants who join the meeting but
