Hello When I schedule a meeting I am unable to add my colleague as an alternate host. My colleague and I both have paid licenses AND are on the same account. So the error has got it completely wrong. 

I would be grateful if someone can anyone help! This error message keeps popping up every time I wish to start a meeting - which I, as a host - have scheduled with a client. I have to log on manually but the system recognizes me as a "guest" and I have to wait for the host to start. How is this possible if I am the host! This has been an annoying problem for months. The problem happens only with my laptop and not with my mobile phone.

All: I have been using Zoom (5.17.11) on iPhone 6 Plus (iOS 12) for some time, now. In January/February 2025, Zoom (5.17.11) would not allow me to join meetings without upgrading the iOS Zoom App. The problem is iPhone 6 Plus is already at its latest version (iOS 12) and the AppleStore requires a later iOS version to upgrade Zoom past version 5.17.11. Any ideas if Zoom supports a backward compatibility option, for iPhone 6 Plus (iOS 12), without the ability to upgrade the iOS? I asked the Host to enable Voice Dial-in Access, but they refuse stating organizational policy. Thank you for your time and assistance. Kind Regards,  Gary

Pessoal, não sei o que está errado nas configurações do meu computador ou app zoom, mas quando em uma reunião e é colocado uma música de fundo ela simplesmente não aparece para mim, apenas quando ele fala junto consigo ouvir, mas ao parar de falar não ouço nada enquanto todos os outros participantes ouvem normalmente. I was sent a meeting invitation and have been trying to open it to confirm the meeting, but the following is happening: Next page that loads says: "Sorry, you do not have the latest version of Zoom Workspace App installed.The latest version of our application will download automatically. Kindly install it to accept the meeting invite.If the download doesn't start automatically, please download manually.Manual DownloadJoin from your browser"The version update download starts and when I click on join from your browser nothing happens. I open the download it runs and disappears.I checked my zoom app and it says that it is at its most up to date version. I have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom. Hi - I'm sharing a PowerPoint presentation. It's fine when I start sharing the screen. However, when I click to 'slide show' (i.e. just looking at the slide) the sharing stops with the  message ''screen sharing has stopped as the shared window is closed'. Any thoughts please?ThanksAlison 

I recently removed fathom from zoom and now all of my virtual backgrounds are gone and I no longer have the advanced functionality to share screen and video - I would appreciate any assistance or guidance. And I can no longer logon unless I logon from the browser for workspace

I’m writing here because I have a question about logging into Zoom meetings.When I tried to join a Zoom meeting using a non-logged-in account, I got Zoom error code 13215 and couldn’t join the meeting. However, when I tried again with a logged-in account, I was able to join without any issues.I had set the meeting to allow non-logged-in participants before starting the room, but for some reason, the non-logged-in account still couldn’t join.Does anyone know why this might have happened or what possible reasons could cause this? I’d really appreciate your help!

I am working with a client and they can move the mouse around but cannot click on anything. I've looked around the forum and found nothing to solve my problem. Help!

I usually only have 2 people in any meeting I host, but there are sometimes more. I am currently on the basic plan and am looking to possibly upgrade so that I don't get limited on time for those larger meetings. My manager has a pro plan currently. I see that there can be 1-9 licenses per pro plan. Does that mean that up to 9 accounts can be linked to that plan? Is there a plan that allows multiple accounts to be on it without having to buy plans for each one?   Thanks for the help!

Hi All, I am looking to add our company logo to the screen so that it's visible when we conduct Zoom video meetings with clients. Does anybody know if this is possible and if it is, how I might add it? Thanks 

Hello. I've just installed Zoom Client for MacOS and found that every time I start the application I have to enter my user name and password to sign in. This is very inconvenient. Is there "remember me" option? It is weird that such a simple feature is not implemented (((

Hi there, i just installed Zoom (6.4.13 (2309)) on Linux Min 22.1. Apart from my other problems (see other posts) there seems to be another issue: When joining a meeting there is a popup to confirm conditions & policies.This popup re-appears EVERY TIME when joining a meeting. Also when leaving a meeting there is a popup "you left the meeting".There is even a checkbox "do not show again", i checked it, but the popup keeps coming back. Screenshots here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/cNv0TGD The selected option is not saved. Greetings Fino

Hi, i installed the latest version 6.4.13 (2309) on 2 Ubuntu systems:1. a Classical Ubuntu2. Linux Mint, which is also Ubuntu-based On both systems i experience the same poblems.Also on the first system i tried an older version (don't remember the version number), but it was the stable release version from snap. Reproduction:- start an Ubuntu system- open zoom- press "join a meeting"- enter ID- enter PWD- accept conditions/policies- nothing happens - the main window stays unchanged, the "join a meeting link" is disabled, no meeting window appears- when closing the app now a confirm window opens "Are you sure to leave the meeting?" with "Leave" and "Cancel" buttons. Both systems are fully updated.Freshly restarted.Zoom fresh installed.The meeting was already in progress - it was possible to connect with other dev

Is it because your design team or user advisors are too free to think of many things that make it difficult for users?In the past, logging into an account and entering a password was very easy. Now you think of all kinds of tricks. So how do young and old users know how to use it? Are you too free? 

June 11, 2025I noticed that during a meeting I Hosted today, in the Host Tools, there was no Waiting Room option. I couldn't turn on a Waiting Room.We don't like to have it on all the time because the Owner has to show up daily to let everyone in and that's not possible. We like for the Host to be able to turn it on once they get to the meeting.It was last available, that I noticed, on May 28, 2025. Has it been off all June? How do we let Hosts turn it on and off for their meetings? Hi, I have a new problem which I didn't have in the past.I'm a Mac user (both Mac mini and MacBook Air) and having Sequoia 15.5. OS. Zoom version is 6.4.12.I update operating systems and applications always when available.Now when I schedule a new meeting and push "save", it doesn't offer any more to take it to the calendar as a calendar mark.I have not changed any security or other settings. Same problem has popped up to both devices - Mac mini and MacBook Air.Any thoughts what might have happened and how to fix this? My iPhone Zoom app works fine and offers sending the email invitation as it should.

I know that I can configure a meeting to record automatically when the meeting starts. I would like to do the same with captioning, that is, have captioning start when the meeting is started. Of cosre this shold be available as a meeting option, so it can be turned on or off for any given meeting.  This options should be available in the same screens and devices where the auto record setting is available.Thanks for considering this request. 

I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 and when I try to do some changes in Settings ... it's not possible due broken UI /General, /Audio, /Notofications.I dont have permission to upload images ... soo I hope this will get some attention. 

ON IPAD:  Up until this week, June 16, 2024, if someone shared their screen during a meeting, it would go back to gallery view, which is the correct view/setting.Now when a participant ends a screen-share session, it goes automatically into speaker view. I have to manually find a moment to switch it back. I am a court reporter, and I have very little time to take my hands off my writer to do that.What is going on? I'm not the only one who is having this issue. Three people I know already told me they are having it too. I just hope there is a fix.Thanks!

I can access the chat with the messages but not the documents. I know the documents are somewhere as the history of the meeting is showing they are there.  But I can't download them.  I click to download them and it won't work. How do I access them.  Any help gratefully received. Thank you 

Perhaps Zoom is attempting to build an Apple-like walled garden with the AI features but I don’t need to work with 3 different task managers.  Does anyone know if or how you can export the recommended task lists AI Meeting Summaries generates?  I want a quick simple way to export the Zoom task list into the task manager app I’ve been using for the last 10 years thanks!
