Webinars

We host regular webinars. Some folks are able to watch them live, and once the webinar is over we can pull reports that show who watched and for how long. This is important when awarding education certificates for nurses. If a registrant watches the recording later, however, I can't pull the same information. I'll get "Sally Jones" registered for the on demand webinar and that "guest" watched the webinar for 58 minutes, but I can't connect "Sally Jones" to "58 minutes watched." Anyone have a workaround? 

Hi there,  Is there a way the host can be unpinned/hidden in Zoom Webinar? If we wanted just the presenter to be seen that is - thank you! Help! 

I am working on an integration for my company where we have many recruiters that set up webinars for virtual campus tours. We utilize webinars for these events and I am building an integration using webhooks. This will allow for webinar details to send a webhook payload to an endpoint that will create a Campaign for us in Salesforce.We need to be able to pass over some custom fields/data about the event that are not relevant to the end-user directly, but determine how the end result gets routed and configured in Salesforce.For example, we need to pass over a field that tells us the type of recruiting effort this is going to be. Is this going to be OnCampus, or Online.  Rather than having a custom question where we ask the registrant this, we are trying to set it up in a way where the specific webinar they register for has a hidden hardcoded type so they aren't selecting anything on the registration form, but it's a value that is sent over with it and stored in the webinar record.

I'm planning to make a webinar event, my first choice is to choose zoom webminar, but I have some questions that until now I haven't found a solution even after I read the zoom documentation and tried the trialMy problem is:1. how to limit the participants who can join the webminar based on the email that has been registered in the admin (import CSV)?2. How can each participant registered in the admin (csv import) get a unique link for each participant? because I've tried the trial and found that the link sent to all participants is the same, and every user who has logged in or has logged in can join the webminar even though the email is not registered as a participant.3. If the link for all participants is the same, then my first question is very decisive, because I don't want the link given to be shared publicly, and I don't want to do manual approval, because 500 participants is not a small number.4. How can I make sure that when I finish importing participant data in CSV format, Zo

If we are hosting a webinar and want the host and/or cohost to be able to share their screen and have the attendees see both the shared screen and the 4 panelists, what is the best view to use? Follow host or Gallery View? Or is there some other view that we should be using? Thanks for your help!

At the start of the webinar, I used three slides of PowerPoint to switch between "image + music" and "video " for the opening.But sometimes when I broadcast and switch them at the same time, the PowerPoint freezes.How can this be avoided? Is it a problem with the specifications of the PC?

Hi All, I am going to host a webinar where I will be playing a pre-recorded video to attendees.  There will not be any Q&A, panelist, chat, raise hands, polls..etc.  Attendees just watch a video and after 1 hour playback, we end the webinar. I did a test run with colleagues and noticed that the host tile  is always on the screen of the attendees.  How can I remove the host  tile (in RED) so that the attendees can expand the video to full screen on their screen ?  Please see below screenshot.   Appreciate your help. Hi there, I'd like to know if it's possible to launch a video/music visible to participants already connected to a webinar that is not yet live. The idea is to show to the participants some welcoming messages and/or music while the organization is talking to panellists in the practice session to set all the details before going live. 

Goodmorning users, I work with a client and she wants to organize a webinar, it's a one time thing.  She has a pro account which doesn't support the webinars. So we need te buy a webinar add-on. You can do that in a subscription of month by month. Since it's a one time event I would say we do it for a month. What I want to know is how long can you use a the replay link to at the webinar again. Or is it that you can record the webinar (just like meetings) in a local laptop for instance and share the link to replay at any time, even when the subsciption is expired? Kind regards

Is there a way to allow all attendees to talk during a webinar with a single click vs. clicking on each attendee?  I have a Q&A portion at the end of all my trainings and I run the trainings as webinars vs. meetings to avoid having a lot of people on camera and so we don't have to deal with everyone muting themselves.  I typically have around 100 people in the trainings.  When we get to the Q&A portion I have to click 'Allow to Talk' on each attendee separately so they can ask questions.  This can take a couple minutes when I have 100+ attendees.   At this point of the training I am ok with being able to see everyone's picture or camera and having to deal with possibly having someone not on mute.

I will be conducting a webinar with 150-200 households and want to have a vote via a poll. In most cases, one household will have 2-3 people eligible to vote. Many, unfortunately, will be signing in from one computer. Is there a way to have all eligible people have an individual vote? The workaround has everyone vote via chat, but it is not optimal.

Dear Team,My office is looking into upgrading our zoom from basic to professional. We are also expecting that our account will be able to allow us to scream zoom session on facebook live and youtube. I am wondering whether by upgrading to professional edition or Business edition will enable us have these features 

Is there a way to track when a person enters the meeting and when they leave as a way of taking attendance for a presentation offering continuing education credits which requires attending the whole sesison.

We had a two-day webinar this weekend. I chose to record it on my computer. On the first day, after the webinar, my computer started to convert the recorded files, but when it reached 99%, converting process stopped. It just stayed at 99% for 30 minutes or more. I chose "Stop converting" because the window said that I can do the converting again in my Zoom account (or something like that).The next day, I recorded the webinar again (on my computer), but after the webinar ended, converting didn't start at all. I don't find any of these recordings in my Zoom account or my computer. How do I get access to these recordings? Both the interruption in the conversation process on the first day and the automatic converting not starting at all on the second day seemed to be problems in Zoom's systems, so I assume that the recorded files are saved somewhere. But how can I find them and start the converting?My internet connection was good on both days, and I had no other problems on my co

Hi!   I'm curious about a technical aspect (or maybe it's advice?) of language interpretations in a Webinar.   So, here's the bulleted outline of the problem: The event would feature 2 different languages spoken by many presenters - the spoken language is changed back and forth due to the complex schedule So, there would be the original audio that's sometimes language A and sometimes language B. Now, when we add interpreters to the equation, we can designate them to translate either A -> B or B -> A. Is this assumption correct? As a listener, you can join in and choose either the original audio, language A or language B to listen to. Now, the big question is: How can I make it possible that attendees don't have to constantly switch between the original audio and their language?   Or am I wrong with an assumption to the problem?   A million thanks to anyone willing to help me 🙂

Registration of participants. Example: we have a conference that has 10 panels (each panel is one Zoom webinar). We want to enable participants to have access to all 10 panels (Zoom webinar) with one registration so that they do not have to register more than once. In doing so, we want to have an insight into which participant was individually on which panel (Zoom webinar). As it seems to us for now, each participant would have to re-register for each webinar within the conference, even with e-mail only. Do you have any clever suggestions for solving this problem? Does anyone have any ideas on how to record a complete program feed from a Zoom webinar? I'll elaborate- When screen sharing, only the shared screen and a SINGLE small video tile of the person speaking are recorded on the cloud "Shared screen with gallery view."  This proves difficult when we want to capture a speaker + an ASL interpreter + the shared screen altogether in the recording. Yes, we can record the iso- gallery view, which records all the video tiles with their video on, even when there's a shared screen, but this involves post production editing after the event to piece them together. Using a third party screen capture app seems like the only way currently to record a one a done program feed. Any other thoughts and ideas are much appreciated.
