Solved

I have a problem with Zoom. My mic is not picking my guitar instrument when I am playing.  I tried all the audio and mic settings but the mic is not picking the sound from my guitar. I also used external (RODE) mic if this can solve the problem but it is not picking  either. I also used Samsung phone in tandem but it is not also picking my instrument. Can you please provide a solution?

How do I change the name of a meeting that has started, so that it is recorded with that name later?

I see the ability to download reports post-webinar for each of the different categories of data (attendees, chat, etc). I need all of this and will end up putting them into a spreadsheet on separate tabs- is there one master report you can download for an event vs needing to download each of these as separate files?

Is this setting available for a Zoom Room? We have a conference that has a few dark spots near the camera. It'd be great to be able to turn on a setting similar to what's in the Background & Effects settings of the desktop app.

Hi Zoom community, I'm wondering if there is a complete Zoom certification course, similar to Microsoft Teams and Cisco?

Hello, I'm wondering if I'm just not seeing this or if it exists.I'm creating a Wallboard view, and I want to be able to see agents that are opted-in/out of a queue.  So for example, if I'm looking at a specific Voice Queue, and I'm looking at Agent Availability details, I can see Agents that are marked Ready (regardless if they are actually opted-in to this Voice Queue). So at quick glance it may appear that I have 3 Agents ready.... but not calls are being answered because the agents are actually opted-out of the queue itself. Anyone else run into this and have a solution? (Did I just not see the wallboard widget I need for this?) Thanks!

Having a rough time with the transition to Zoom phone.  A big part of my business need is SMS.  I don't need to mass message, but did the 10DLC process anyway.  When I attempt to send SMS, I get the message "You don't have a direct number. You cannot start a new conversation".  I have had a ticket open a couple of days on this, and no response.  I am sure I have a few upset customers.  SMS is enabled, and that made the sms tab appear, but still no luck.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a Zoom meeting scheduled through our Your Membership platform. Both paying and free participants must register on the platform to receive the Zoom Link. How can the presenters get the link? No cohosts were added when the meeting was created and participants have already signed up. WHen I try to add cohosts, a message pops up indicating that it cannot be added.

has anyone else seen this?In two different zoom rooms with NEC displays, the displays have started failing to turn on and off for meetings. When I go into manual Room Controls at the iPad or virtually in a browser, it looks like this: If I click on Retry, the devices all work fine for a minute, and I can turn the displays on and off. Within a few minutes, the connection errors return. Retry always fixes the problem for a few minutes. The NEC projectors are not affected. In both rooms, the displays, projector, and Zoom PC are on their own dedicated room AV switch. No display firmware has been changed. This room has been working well for 3 years, and the room profile has been unchanged for almost two years.I've opened a ticket, but as usual, it's hard to get past the "have you tried power cycling" stage.

Hello! Can you tell me if it's possible to export of a list of the registrations for a meeting prior to the meeting start date? We've asked a specific question in the registration page that we need access to and the only way I'm seeing to look up the answers is to click each attendees name which I won't be able to do for every registration. Help!

I was recently asked during a meeting to record it. I hit record and after Zoom downloaded it to Local. I didn't want that, I actually wanted it to be available on the Cloud. Is there a way for me to upload the files that Zoom gave me and place it in the Zoom cloud so I can send a Zoom link to the attendees? I have a paid account btw, if that helps. Thanks!!

From the day I started using Zoom I am Unable to put Blur Background,Video Filters,Video Background & Studio Effects. If can Please Give me a Solution

I previously used Google Signin to link to my account - but because i travel around and use different people's devices,  some times i need to just signin using my email and password.   I cannot seem to reset my password as ZOOM keeps forcing me to link my Google Account - which i'm not comfortable with, as i use it on so many devices. How do i stop that?   I tried unlinking my user, under user management but it doesn't seem to work

I recorded a long meeting. It shows up under local recordings but then when I open it, it says 'no such file exists'. Anyone know how to retrieve this? I'm sure I've done it many times in the past without any trouble. Thank you

Hello, Running a Webchat campaign (not exactly a campaign but its the only way to get the welcome screen). On the welcome screen I am capturing the customers first name, email and language selection. We only need 2 languages (English and French) but the drop down list provided has way more than that. Which means right now I have to create a catch-all in the flow for any selection outside of those 2 that then requires users to select their language again (this time from a shorter list of buttons that I created). The whole point of the Welcome screen is to save on some of those nested clicks and capture some relevant information into variables right from the get-go.  Is there any way to customize that list of languages that Zoom auto-populates?

I have worked out how to save the auto transcript in recordings as subtitles, and I can see them in the recording (when viewed in Zoom). However, when I download those recordings the subtitles no longer show up - anyone know how to get the subtitles to save to the downloaded recordings?

Hi! My Zoom Desktop Client (on Windows) updated to one that has consolidated the Calendar and Meetings tabs (or so it says, feels more like it -lost- the Meetings tab) and now I can't really access cloud recordings from my desktop client. Or I just can't find them. Is there a way to go back to the old UI? Having to log into my Zoom account on my browser when I have a desktop client open just to get a cloud meeting's URL is a really bad experience.

Hello,   Recently we setup a new office that has Fire TV Omni's and Logitech C920 webcams (As per recommended by amazon for compatibility to the TV's). We have the Zoom app on the TV's but when going into a meeting or test meeting, the camera or microphones are not picked up.   In the settings, it shows the camera seen as an external camera but there is no video feed and the camera itself does not have the light on as it normally would when the video is being seen.We have tried mix and matching cameras, uninstalling and reinstalling the zoom app.The camera and microphone works in other apps, just not zoom. We allow all permissions that it prompts for. Went into the Application settings and allowed Zoom to view and use the camera and microphone, nothing has worked.   The turn camera on or off is grayed out.    Amazon states it is an issue with the Zoom app and to contact zoom support.Any suggestions or modifications to the app I can make, so this works? Thank yo

Anyone have any suggestions on how to query zoom version number using CLI?Anyone have any suggestions on how to remotely install zoom client for end user? When I pre-install it - it does nothing because the end user has to install it and it installs in their profile path - not Program Files.   I don't see any options in the CLI to find the version installed on their profile. We have many users to install and I don't want to manually visit every PC.

Hello,    I am trying to generate a meeting registration report, and when I enter the meeting ID or the date of the meeting it shows no data. These meetings are within the last month so I don't understand why they are not generating.    I would appreciate some assistance! 🙂    Thanks!

Hello. I am running a hybird style meeting and using my computer to take notes while hosting the meeting and sharing presentations. I am working of a Mac (OS 12.5) and running dual screens (not mirrored). A little background: the way I’d prefer to use my set up is to have the Zoom meeting (a view of participants) on one screen, while taking notes, managing Zoom chat and participants, and doing other work on my main screen. My issue is when I share a PPT with the group. My process for sharing: I open PowerPoint, begin a screen share, and share the presentation I want (from the app, not from the desktop). When it is shared, the presentation takes over BOTH of my screens, leaving me dead in the water. What change needs to be made in the Zoom settings that will stop the share screen from taking over my computer?  Toggling between presenter view and main view has not fixed it.  TIA for your help.

Hi - does anyone know how to set up MFA (multifactor authentication) for login to zoom account?

The files in a cloud recording of a meeting are showing us that the results of the polls we conducted are not anonymous as we thought them to be. Is there a way to delete these files from the account to protect the privacy of those who participated, without deleting the entire meeting recording?

Hello, in some meetings on my smartphone LG G5 it gets too dark dimmed for no reason. The only solutio i found is to restart the zoom-app Dim flashing video shared in a meeting or webinar - Zoom Support how can i disable the dimming of videos shared in a meeting?

Hello,I don't know if anyone else has had this problem.  When I try to schedule a meeting on my home page, I get error codes, but when I sign in to Client via my profile, there seems to be no problem in scheduling a meeting.  Has anyone else had this issue?  Many thanks.
