Need to update page group has that everyone sees before allowed into meeting.

We have a large number of lecturers at our institute wanting to use Linux as their system (primarily, because they're teaching Linux directly or DevOps/develpment and it's nice to be on the same system you're teaching).  Problem is, Zoom Meetings app is borderline unusable when combined with remote support or screen share. Greatest issues are: 1. When providing remote support to a student, lecturers are unable to type certain keys - such as 's', 'p' and several others. Capitalised versions are fine, however certain keys are interpreted by the remote system as shortcuts. For example, when I press 'p' on the Linux machine, the macOS remote client 'beeps' - same beep as when an invalid key is pressed. Similarly, for example, pressing 'z' on Linux causes Mission Control to appear! This means we can't type anything (such as fixing commands or code) for our students.  2. I made a similar reply in a conversation between @Ohkawa and @itfreshman1 but got no respose, so I an creating this new post.   I have the Zoom app on my MacBook and on my iPhone. Every time I click on a link sent to me for a Zoom meeting when using my laptop, a new Zoom installer package downloads. I have no option to refuse or cancel it. This never happens on my iPhone, even if I am signing in with both devices to the same meeting, meaning that the settings by the host aren't dictating that the download occurs (unless of course every single host has chosen to make laptops download the app but not phones). I’m a participant in a meeting and there is another participant whose camera doesn’t allow her live picture to be been. Hello, my friends!I have been using Zoom for a short time, but there is something that is bothering me. I use Word a lot to write texts, as I work in journalism, and every time I execute the shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + C" in Word (which is a very common shortcut in Word and one that I use frequently), the Zoom window for screen recording opens and I cannot execute the command in Word. In other words, Zoom has the same command as Word. However, even with Zoom closed, when I try to execute this command in Word, I am prevented because the computer understands that the command is for Zoom, not for Word.I would like you to help me go into Zoom settings and change this command, please, as it is greatly hindering my work!

Greetings -- I have been receiving error messages from Cloudflare when I try to access Zoom from links I receive stating that I am being blocked.  The group sending the link has no idea why I would be blocked.  Has anyone else had this happen?

I've been reading that when I use my Yamaha MG10XU mixer, the voice output to zoom (and then to remote attendees) is reduced and I must increase the gain and consequently more noise.    Is this true?  I'm running W11 on a thinkpad i7 64 bit, 24gb Memory.  Using Ethernet or wifi connections?  Zoom Ver 6.5.12 Thank you for your assistance.  Peter

I cannot logon to the App on several different machines. Resetting password does not help. Logging into the web works fine every time. Is there a lockout somewhere that I am not aware of? The account is a corporate assigned id. Thanks.

Our organization has been using Zoom for a decade now. We have very participatory meetings with large groups where we invite raised hands for questions. But can put a strain on the host when they would like to answer all questions, where it could feel a lot cleaner to be able to stop hands being raised at a certain point.I see Zoom have been implementing many AI features, but have seen many requesting this feature for years. Thank you.

I cannot find an option in settings to Not have a waiting room. in other words, I dont need or want a waiting room password or any other security measures. But there is no option for that- as far as i could tell. Can anyone help?  thanks. Gal1

Joined a meeting today and there was no option to turn my camera off, check chat, see participants are otherwise participate in the meeting. The toolbar was completely gone. I thought it was due to that particular meetings settings however I started my own meeting and the issue persisted. The only button at the bottom was the mute button. Can not swipe up or down to find the toolbar or invite link. There is no leave button when swiping from the top or hitting the back button. Clicked both sides of the meeting screen, every corner and every place but the toolbar, 3 dots, etc are not there. Latest update was 09/16 and my meeting on 09/29 did not have this issue.  Restarted my phone, uninstalled and re-installed zoom, checked settings to make sure that the meeting settings have "always show meeting controls" turned on.   Is there an update or patch that is missing? Hi - I'm trying to utilize a 3rd party survey link for meetings and I believed the setting was disabled by our IT team. However, when our IT team looked into it, they said that the 3rd party survey toggle was visible for a few days while they investigated in early January, but then disappeared from their settings at the end of January. They shared a screenshot with me that shows a box that says "Hosts will no longer be able to use 3rd-party survey links in newly and previously scheduled meetings."Is it true that 3rd party survey links are no longer able to be used at all? Or is it still an option, but the toggle moved to somewhere else recently? 

Currently, I can't get Zoom to launch. I try to open a link and nothing happens. I can't make a meeting in the browser.I can download Zoom, but I can't even get the app to open.The only thing I am able to do is  pick "Join from your browser" The meeting opens, but with audio only, even though  it has my video permissions. I have looked for solutions. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have cleared my temporary data, and I have reinstalled the app. None of that has worked so far.Reaching out for help because I am trying to interview for jobs right now and its definitely important.All the best

I have online music classes for a long time. Suddenly, from this week, two students encountered the same issue during the class, which is that the setting to original audio does not stop Zoom from auto-suppressing the sound. I can't hear their their piano playing at all, and all background noise disappeared too. I changed devices using a phone, iPad and Windows laptop, the issue persists. I'm sure it's not my receiving side's issue. It's the issue with the device of my students. They both use Apple products, iPhone and iPad. Is there an iPad upgrade that conflicts with the Zoom setting? Has anybody encountered the same issue as I did?

Hey y’all!  I am the owner of my zoom license and for some reason it has me locked out of admin rights to update things.  On my instant meetings it is making people have a password mostly on the phone and trying to fix this.  Thanks for you help!
