Zoom states in the meeting settings:

Require that all meetings are secured with one security option

Require that all meetings are secured with one of the following security options: a passcode, Waiting Room, or "Only authenticated users can join meetings". If no security option is enabled, Zoom will secure all meetings with Waiting Room. Learn more

I have this same issue. The instructions from Zoom do not give the correct instructions to find this setting. Everything under Meeting is about AI features. There is no Security section that I can find under Account Management > Account Settings.

Update: There is a Meeting tab at the top which is different from the Meeting section along the side. But even then, it won’t let me turn it off or even set a password instead. It says:

hi @Gal1 ,

Just having a meeting number means anyone could guess that number and join the meeting uninvited.

So Zoom set a rule that you must either have a password set, or use the waiting room to enable you to keep control over uninvited guests.

Note that you are given a link that includes the password encoded into the link, so if you give that to poeple you are inviting, they probably will not evne realise that you have a password at all.

hope that helps. Please like my reply if it does
