Hello,I have set up a focus on the Macbook when zoom is active. As soon as I share my screen, the focus is turned off because Zoom is no longer in the foreground and my shared screen is. What options are there for activating the focus mode when I share my own screen? I don't want any messages to be displayed when the screen is shared that the audience can see. ThanksAndreas

I have tried on 3 different computers and 2 different USB capture devices and everything is fine when initiating a zoom meeting when using a HDMi capture to USB device. This fails every time when I try to engage Orignal Sound for Muscians to on. The meeting then crashes. The only way to get around this is to use audio from a different source ie not the USB capture device.

I usually zoom on imac. Once I zoomed on iphone and opened video on iphone. Now on the Mac there is no video until I manually press “detach video” button on my iphone. This occurs EVERY time, even when I deleted the Zoom app from my phone

After January 31st, the Zoom app will be removed from all Portal devices, and now, I cannot join Zoom by Portal. But Portal is a perfect device to use Zoom with good microphone and speaker. 

I need some help. I tried to livestream to Facebook, and today, it wouldn't work. I have been livestreaming to Facebook since 2021. When I clicked on the three dots and chose Livestream to Facebook, it brought me to a page that says Live stream Zoom Meeting to Facebook LiveLog in with your Facebook account first[Button says] Connect to Facebook I tried to click on the button "Connect to Facebook" and nothing happens, dead end. I am already logged into Facebook. I tried both on Google Chrome and Safari. I also tried on a brand new Mac, same issue.  I checked all the parameters here on Zoom and also on Facebook, and I have the app for FB added to the group where I wanted to stream. I checked all the settings and they are all ticked as indicated, I just can't livestream to Facebook.  

Hello, whilst Zoom seems to continue to work broadly fine on my phone, any time I try to join or host a meeting on the Chromebook I got recently it just gets stuck on the 'Joining Meeting' screen indefinitely. Tried using both the PWA and browser, but get the same result every time. Any ideas what the issue might be? Thanks!

I have a reoccurring issue with zoom. I schedule meetings for my boss with his clients using his Zoom Pro link and for the past few weeks he and the clients go to their scheduled meeting but cannot connect. They are told the meeting is scheduled for October 9th even though this is not the meeting date. It's happened too many times and quite frankly looks very unprofessional even though the original meetings are not set or changed to this date. Can someone please help! I have asked my boss what system he is using  and if he has Zoom updated however haven't heard back yet to find out this information (we're in different states).  Anyone else have this issue and if so, how did you fix it!!!! 

Hi there, I have tried and tried again to turn off the waiting room in my Zoom account, and even though the settings show it to be off, and show that participants can join without the host, it never works. Any suggestions?

My Zoom add-on is not syncing my meetings with Google CalWhen participants click on the zoom link in the meeting, it shows that the meeting is set for the date I created the event (as opposed to the date/time it is supposed to be).  This is a non-issue if I can login before everyone, however that is not always the case. I also cannot copy and paste the "joining instructions" as the details are incorrect (the topic does not transfer over, the date/time are incorrect). Please help!

Hello, There is a well-known feature in Zoom concurrent for like 5 years or more, so it must be here but I can't see it : Where in a meeting do I change the volume of one specific person ?Not everyone has the same microphone setting and I can't lower the volume for someone. Is there anything yet ? Did I miss this option ?Is it something Zoom devs have in sight ?

The video preview isn't working.  "Always show preview" is on, "Stop video when joining" is off. and there is still no preview.  What do I do??

We’ve received reports that Zoom may use AI to automatically change/set/reset the closed captioning interpretation for meeting attendees. Is this true? If so, what can people do to avoid this? Are there settings in their account they can change so that their language selections don't change unless they manually change them?

I'm trying to check on/set up my virtual background and I'm trying to follow the instructions inhttps://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0060387#h_2ef28080-fce9-4ac2-b567-dc958afab1b7I want to just have a picture uploaded, no videos or anything and reality doesn't quite agree with the instructionsthe account settings are in "Personal".  I click on the meeting tab and I find "virtual background" and it is, indeed, set.   I went to "in meeting (advanced) --   And then I'm stuck -- I can't find "Click Manage virtual background. " I must be missing something....

Just updated zoom now when I join a meeting that is being recorded I cannot unmute or turn on video. Any idea how to fix this? Is this a bug on Zoom's end?

I am the manager of a state government agency that is convening a series of public meetings where simultaneous interpretation is available.  We are conducting the meetings in English and Spanish using Zoom's simultaneous interpretation feature. We would like to make recordings of the meetings available in both English and Spanish.  However, there does not appear to be a way to simultaneously record in both languages from one device.  When we attempt to record the meeting from two different devices, with one device recording in the English channel and one in the Spanish channel, we are not able to do so.   The system appears to default to do a single recording (which has always been the English channel).  This single "master recording" happened even when we tried to record onto two different devices, with one recording to the cloud and the other to a local hard drive. Is there a way for us to do two separate, simulta

Hi. Whenever I joined a zoom meeting, on this same computer, I always check that box "Remember my name on future meetings", because I need to change my name every time I join Zoom meeting However, after that meeting, in the next one, it reverted to previous name it's so annoying that I have to change the name over and over, and that check boxes seems no use. I try to log in to my account, but it shows my full name instead of "display name". Force me to delete the last name just so Zoom will show my display name. But the problem is, when I join zoom meeting by links, it's not signed in  So, I need to change my name manually again. So annoying. There's no way zoom remember my name for future meetings.  I'm using windows 10

I've been unable to sync one of our users cloud recordings with their correct title under the "Topic" section. I see that some of them do have the topic but most do not, they have "Google Calendar Meeting (not synced)". We use Google calendar with the Zoom add-on tool. So for I've tried removing and re-adding the Zoom add-on tool, signing the user out and back in of the tool, toggling the bi-directional sync option in their Zoom account and re-enabling permissions on the Google calendar side and so far nothing gets updated in their cloud recordings. We've also installed the Zoom app for Mac and have the latest version of Zoom installed and we still can't get it to sync with the correct "Topic" title Details: Device - 2023 MacBook ProVersion - 5.17.11 (31580)

This used to be an easy process but since the update, there no longer seems to be functionality to delete a poll from a meeting.  Furthermore, ALL polls saved in the Poll Library are showing up in ALL meetings which is a disaster.  Zoom please fix.  I'm using most current version on Chrome.  Does anyone have any solutions?

This morning everything was working fine. Then, suddenly after a meeting I had, every single recording that I have there in the cloud, around 30 recordings needed for work were removed. I’ve paid immediately, however I’m not able to find these cloud recordings. Does someone know how to recover it?

I'm trying to learn how to use dual monitors and share the Presentation View of PPT slides, which allows me to see the notes for each slide while sharing the other view without the notes. The problem is- I can't see the gallery view any more of the attendees, so if I want to interact with a specific student, I have no idea who is out there? Do I have to share the 'normal view' of PPT slides to be able to see the Gallery View of participants? Also, a secondary issue, when I try to share the 'normal view' of PPT slides, sometimes the screen share 'auto-pauses'.  When I send students to 'Breakout Rooms' for a group task, usually, the previous screen share process has stopped, and it has to be restarted. The restarting process can throw fragments of screens around on the desktop views of the students, which is less than desirable. Any thoughts on how to address this? Getting pretty frustrated here.Thanks for your thoughts.

Hello, I have a question about sharing a particular screen using hotkeys.I use a stream deck in my Zoom meetings, and often, I use the notes section on my external iPad to draw something out for the other person on the call.Using the stream deck, I can use the 'share screen' function (as a hotkey), but then I have to manually select (with my mouse) the 'advanced share' function to use my iPad notes section for the screen share.Can I bypass the manual aspect to automatically share the 'advanced share screen'?I have contacted Stream Deck support, and they have directed me to Zoom.If there is a hotkey function on Zoom, I can get the streamdeck to use it.I really appreciate any help you can provide. James

We receive many zoom meeting invites. One of our conference rooms a teams room and sometimes, we would like to have the meeting in that room. I have searched for how to add the teams room to the invite but it appears only the host can do that. We tried to forward the invite to the teams room but it just started a team meeting, not a zoom meeting.  So, can an attendee add a teams room to a meeting and have the meeting show up in teams room as ZOOM?

Hello Community,for the past four years, I have been an admin in several Zoom meeting groups, using a MacPro5.1 running Big Sur (11.6.x) and a Logitech 4K Stream camera. I never had any technical issues—until four weeks ago. Due to a GPU defect, I had to completely reinstall my operating system. All programs and apps are working again, including Logitech’s "Logitune" software.However, the Zoom app is the only exception. Zoom.us should appear in the privacy settings to access the camera and microphone, but it is missing. As a result, I can no longer host Zoom meetings. This is a disaster because all my efforts to fix the issue have failed. I am familiar with all Logitech and Zoom apps, have consulted Apple and Logitech, and now hope to find expert advice here.Does anyone in the community have experience with this

My family has regular zoom meetings which have, for about a month, experienced severe echo whenever my aunt's Chromebook joins the meeting.  SHE does not hear the echo and her voice does not echo.  The rest of us hear everyone else echoing at a 4-syllable delay.  Sometimes we hear the speech echoed more than once.Muting her does not alleviate the echo.  The echo stops immediately if she leaves the meeting but resumes if she rejoins.  She has joined meetings from multiple locations/buildings/cities with the same results.  Any ideas?
