I regulary share my iPad screen to Zoom meetings I host on my PC, it works by selecting Share screen on Zoom, iphone/iPad and then proceed to tapping on screen mirroring on control centre on the iPad and tap on Zoom<My Account name>. This is all done via my home network without the need of any cables. Today this stopped working entirely. I have tried restarting my device multiple times, reinstalling Zoom multiple times, restarting my PC multiple times and a combination of them without resolution. There is an alternative which is to broadcast a screen recording from iPad to Zoom, but that's over the internet, rather than my home WiFi network, so framerates is extremely low. There used to be a iPhone/iPad sharing with cables options on the PC, but that options vanished from Zoom over a year ago. My PC: Windows 11 22H2 19045.3208Zoom: 5.15.5 (19404)iPad Pro running iPad OS 16.5.1 (20F75) Any

We are currently facing a significant delay when using the Zoom Meeting SDK in our react native mobile application. When more than 150 users attempt to join a meeting simultaneously, the joining process takes over 10 minutes, which severely impacts the user experience. I enrolled for 300 users plan.Could you please provide insights into the following:Are there any known limitations or restrictions when handling a large number of simultaneous join requests?Are there any recommended optimisations or best practices to improve the meeting joining speed?Would upgrading to a different plan or making configuration changes help resolve this issue?Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated.

After the conference is over, the zoom application continues to load the processor (at least 22% total), although all windows are closed and there is only an icon in the taskbar There are many processes in task manager with commandzoom.exe --action=preload --runaszvideo=true --useroption1,2,3,4 etc. Each new such process is added after each new conference and by the end of the day there are more and more of them and the processor load approaches 100%, and the computer starts to boil!

I see a new feature called Automatic smart name tags. It sounds interesting. What are they? But more importantly, it says underneath it to "Contact your system administrator to enable this feature." I am the sole owner and user of this account. Aren't I the system administrator? How do I enable this feature?

Hello- We don't want a waiting room to be used for meetings, since we're using a passcode.   I've made sure the waiting room toggle is set to off under our admin portion and individual, yet  3 of our 4 users continue to have waiting rooms.  This is problematic for our clients. How do I disable the waiting room for all users under our account? Thank you.

How do I change the default name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting? Of course, I can click on the three dots and Rename, but I don't want to do this every single time I join a meeting. I went to Settings/ Profile / Edit My Profile, which launched a web page, then selected Profile, but the name listed under "Display Name" on this page is not the name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting.

In trying to schedule group meetings recently I have noticed that the alternative hosts feature, which I rely on heavily, is suddenly missing from the desktop client. Is this a known issue? Will this be added back? It's annoying to have to go to the web interface in order to schedule my meetings.

I don't know what happened but as of yesterday, I have not been able to join any zoom meetings, including previous recurring ones. It either says the host hasn't joined or the host has another meeting - but the host is inside waiting for me. I'm not sure what is going on. It is happening on both my laptop (mac apple chip) and iphone. I tried the test zoom instructions and everything appears to be fine. I am using the latest Zoom and I am panicking because it's blocking everything.  Can anyone please help? I'm desperate and I don't know how to talk to a human being and the AI chat bot hasn't been able to help.

We have a guest user who is using Fireflies.ai's transcription bot, and one of our hosts inadvertently clicked 'OK' to allow it to record our regular meetings. We would like to revoke that privilege, but I can't see the right settings in the Zoom web admin interface to reset it. Can someone point me to the right control for this? Many thanks!  

I was recording on my computer locally. After sometime lost WIFI for a few minutes. After reconnecting I do not find any recording. Please advise how to find it. It recorded only half the eventThanks

Zoom's 6.4.2 update took away functionality! These issues are happening on both Windows and Mac. 1. Before 6.4.2, when I used "Pause" button during screen share, the content shared would still be showing for participants but in a paused state. After the update, using "Pause" shows a black screen with a message "XXX has paused screen sharing". This is not productive, pause is what it is, pausing what is being shown. I am not seeing any setting to change this feature.  2. "Optimize for video sharing" used to work fine and downsample the video. But after the update, turning on "Optimize for video sharing" does not even show the video, only audio is heard. 

I have a few clients that are getting asked to enter a code when we've provided an embedded password link - has anyone had this issue - and what was the issue/solution?

Cuando inicio una reunión con la aplicación de Zoom en mi laptop no reconoce el micrófono y la cámara solo se ve un fondo negro, pero al abrir la reunión por la web si funcionan ambos, he realizado todas las posibles soluciones las cuales inician desde verificar que cuento con la última versión de los controladores al igual que de la aplicación y nada, el inconveniente es solo con la aplicación de Zoom ya que en otros dispositivos funciona con normalidad, también conecte un microfono y cámara externa y persiste el problema, por favor alguien quien pueda ayudarme con ese inconveniente, de antemano muchas gracias.

Tengo un problema con respecto al microfono, en un principio zoom no me deja entrar a la configuración del micrófono, he tratado de conectar otros audifonos a la laptop y con ninguno funciona, la única forma de ingresar a una reunión es sin auriculares y sin camara conectada, ya intenté reiniciar, reinstalar, ya verifiqué los permisos en windows, intenté actualizar los drivers, pero ni aún así he logrado dar con la solución, necesito ingresar a mis reuniones, ayudenme con esogracias

Hi all, I recently gave permission to an App called otter.ai that records meetings. I changed my mind and want to remove the permission previously given. How do I do this ?I have tried using the "Manage" button on Zoom market place. But nowhere can I see this app mentioned. As I already deleted my account with otter.ai does this mean it automatically removed itself from my Zoom permissions OR is there sometjing more I need to do to achieve this. Thank you for your comments and step by step guidance as needed.Best, David 

My Camera doesn't work on the app when I am trying to join a meeting.When I go to the settings page, the image from the camera shows. It is a Mac with an external camera.It doesn't work with the external camera or built-in. The permissions are correct  

Hi! I just updated to Zoom version 6.4.3 (52139). Where is the meeting information, including the Zoom link and dial-in info? I cannot find it anywhere. It used to be included in the meeting listed on the Zoom calendar. Thank you!

Hi, I've been trying to use the Zoom desktop client on Linux but I've been unable to get the "Schedule a Meeting" functionality to work.  When I click on "Schedule" from the main screen, a new window open but it is completely blank and non-responsive.  I can't close it and it stays open even when I close the main app screen.  Ultimately, I have to kill it from the System Monitor.  I've tried this on multiple distributions (e.g. Ubuntu 22.04.3, Zorin OS 17, PoP!OS) and they all do the exact same thing.   Is this an Ubuntu issue (I realize these are all based on Ubuntu)?  I haven't tried it yet with Fedora but was curious if anyone else had seen this problem. Thanks!

Ever since I got new airpods, zoom is suppressing the sound and the volume coming through airpods vs regular speaker is about half of the capacity. I've adjusted volume to max in zoom, on Windows sound mixer, and have played with the different advanced settings in Zoom such as switching audio profile to original sound for musicians and turning signal processing by windows audio device to on and windows system audio enhancements to on. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and cleared the cache. Went to max volume on my airpods itself. Every available solution has been tried but the airpods sound quality is muffled because it's at 50% capacity. When I close out of zoom and try to use regular apps like spotify, it takes a few seconds to restore back to normal sound. What is it about Zoom that is suppressing the sound? Is it a new update? I tried swiping up on airpods 2 but that doesn't do the job either: 

  

I need a way to permanently prevent all participants from starting their video. There does not seem to be a global setting to disable video share for participants. Please help. 

I just read a few posts stating that you CANNOT use your personal id for recurring meetings. This stinks! I am new to this process and would love to know what is the best way to schedule a four week series, every Tuesday at the same time and use the SAME meeting for the couples? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

It is very frustrating that if you have a personal meeting id that you use for all your meetings, that you cannot use it for scheduled recurring meetings. It means that for recurring meetings, each unique meeting must be set up individually. Clicking the recurring meeting checkbox causes the meeting id to be auto-generated. We have also seen this cause confusion because people unfamiliar with this nuance (which is not super clear when you are setting up a recurring meeting) will click recurring meeting because it seems intuitive but then nobody can join their meetings because everyone only knows the personal meeting id link. It would be great if when checking the recurring meeting checkbox, there could be the same radio button options of "generate meeting id" vs "use personal meeting id" as exist for non-recurring meetings. As one example, we use Zoom for our Sunday worship (which works great) but it means I have to schedule each individual Sunday of the year and can't just "one and

On macOS, I use Qt to set a new default audio device using the Core Audio API, but Zoom doesn't switch to the new device. How can I make Zoom switch to the default audio device after I set it programmatically?

My camera is blurry. How can I correct this?
