Solved

Good afternoon, All.  I am on a 2017 iMac updated to Monterey 12.5.1.  Microphones are the internal mic and a Yeti.  Both pass all audio tests in System Preferences/Sound.   Zoom has permission to access both mics.  When I open a Zoom session, both mics fail the "Test Speaker and Microphone...".  Both pass the testing in "Audio Settings".  This is a pretty new set of problem on this device.  Nothing like this has happened before. Does anybody have any ideas on how to correct this problem? I use Zoom on a Macbook Air with no problem.  Also runs fine on 2 Surface Pro 7 machines running Windows 11. Thanks!

Currently, our POTS provider has a switchboard for us which handles calls. This allows our receptionist to see which lines are busy and answer a ringing call for any phone within the organization. BLF covers the first part. The second seems to be more complicated.  We’ve tried call monitoring and call queues but they’re not quite what I’m looking for.  There isn't an option to answer a ringing call with monitoring. Call queues rings all phones at the same time which isn't ideal for our scenario. I basically just want the receptionist to be able to see a line is ringing and if she knows it's not going to get picked up she can answer it herself.  For example, if my phone is ringing. The receptionist and see that my phone is ringing with BLF and knows I'm not available to take the call. She can then take the call for me.

Hi.The details are described below. Sorry for the long text. About me:.I have administrative and owner privileges for Zoom. Information about the contracts:.I have signed up for 11 licenses of ZoomMeetings and 36 licenses of ZoomPhonePro package. Detailed configuration information:.Configuration of SAML single sign-on with Okta and user provisioning from Okta.Single sign-on is configured and enabled, and user provisioning is configured to occur prior to sign-in.The SAML response mapping is configured as shown in the attached file zoom_samlResponseMapping1,2,3. Request:.I want to assign the ZoomPhonePro package to the user at the same time as the user is provisioned from Okta. Problem:.When I provision a user from Okta, the free ZoomMeetings license and the paid ZoomPhonePro package are assigned to the user at the same time as the provisioning is done and the user is created. When I check User Management > Users in the administrator screen, they are ass

hi there   Are there any plans for introduction a recording limit for each user ie 3Gb? We think that this will help to manage the amount of recordings being done by users. If the user gets near the limit then they will be prompted to move the recordings to another location.    Alan.

Can I ask if Zoom has function to pick webinar slot (like 2pm or 3pm) and directly send to audience's email?

Hello everyone,we make live streaming discussion board for ppl, where is 2-4 speakers and all other ppl is muted and only watching. Sure, we know how to change personal background behind every speakers but question is if there a way change this black strips up and down on shared screen - my idea is put some kind of wallpaper behind speakers.  And if yes, its depends any license or addon etc?ThanksVin

I realize that most people want to keep the same meeting link for each recurrence of a meeting. I see post after post after post about it. But is there any way to NOT keep the same meeting link for each recurrence? Or you just have to set them up as separate meetings?

I don't want to change recording between speakers. The recording should show the main speaker`s video the whole time. The other users should only appear by voice, while you see the video of the main speaker.   Is that possible?   Thanks a lot in advance!  Veni

I want to adjust a user to an Admin role, however, the documentation Zoom provides doesn't actually match the settings.  How do I change a user from Member to Admin?https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115001078646-Using-role-management#h_748b6fd8-5057-4cf4-bbfd-787909c09db0

I have two questions pertaining to My Settings in Zoom. If I have already scheduled meetings and modify My Settings (specifically enabling a waiting room for my meetings) will already scheduled meetings have the waiting room enabled? Additionally, will this setting apply to meetings I schedule on behalf of others?

I'm the Zoom phon esystem admin. We have only PolyVVx250 phones that, up to this point have worked properly. Over the last week or so I've noticed that the corporate directory is extremely slow. Yesterday morning when I got to work my phone told me I had two voicemails. When I accessed my VM messages there were none.  I rebooted my phone this morning and it's showing the two phantom VM's again. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions to correct these issues?

Hi,I want to be able to share my screen to show a PowerPoint presentation to a Zoom audience, but to be able to shrink the presentation screen on my monitor (i.e., to make it less than full screen) so that I can see my Windows 7 taskbar and can look at and refer to other content on my desktop. However, I don't want this to shrink the presentation screen on the screens of the audience because I don't want them to see the other content on my desktop. Is there a way I can do this, or am I asking for the impossible? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I've done 60 zoom recordings of interviews. Recently now zoom switches between speaker and listener every 10-20 seconds without the listener making a sound. How to fix this? Please help.

Hi  Just before sharing my second monitor on Zoom, the number of the monitor shows on the top left corner of the screen, how do I stop the number of the monitor from showing?

Hi,A few weeks ago I got a zoom error code 4101702 - of which is not an error code in the error code page on the Zoom website and my IT department can't seem to fix it (I'm on a business account but no one else is having the issue).Meetings work just fine.    My issue is that incoming calls that used to trigger the pop up that a call is coming, no longer happen (they just pop up in voicemail) and when I try to make an outgoing call - it "fails to connect" Anyone seen this error code before and know how I can fix it so I can take and make calls again? Thanks

I have a usage case that doesn't seem well-handled by the options available for Zoom.I host monthly club meetings where the participants may optionally sign up for credit for having attended a given session. Receiving credit isn't mandatory, and some participants aren't interested in it.In order for me to grant credit, I need to collect the user's ID (typically an email address) used on another site (in this case, it's faasafety.gov, but it doesn't matter). I need to do that for each meeting a user attends, per the rules set by the agency that runs that site.I don't want this question to mandatory, so I don't think I want to use the meeting "registration" function. There are plenty of people who attend but never seek out credit, and that's fine. The people who attend are encouraged to participate actively in the meeting, so "webinar" format doesn't apply well, either, unless (I guess) I make everyone a presenter.Today, my error-prone method is to find the meeting report (which is oddly

Hello, I recently updated Zoom and now I can't screen share.  I'm following these directions that I'm finding online...On Macs, you need to go to System Preferences, Privacy and Security, click on the [ Privacy ] tab, choose 'Screen Recording' on the left side and add the application Zoom  here. All screen sharing apps must be added under the Screen Recording privacy section. But in the Privacy settings under Screen Recording, the "Zoom" option is grayed out and I can't click on it to enable Zoom. I've tried reinstalling Zoom, restarting the computer, all the tricks I can think of...any ideas?

Having switched from RingCentral to Zoom Phone, I am finding that I cannot manage users as well as I used to. Is there any way to manage all of the settings of a user's account, including their voicemail recording, how long their extension rings, call routing for their line, etc.? Seems that user management is just being able to switch permissions on and off, but I cant really configure a user's setup unless I use their credentials and log directly into their account.... is that true?

hi, when I go to set up a meeting on my calendar and use the Zoom Plug In, it populates the information in the body of the invite, but it doesn't hyperlink the Zoom Meeting Link. Therefore, everyone on the call needs to copy and paste the URL into their browser to access. How I get it just populate a hyperlink instead -- I have colleagues what don't have this issue...?

Trying to get to the bottom of outbound caller ID - our main site is in the US, and we have created a site for the UK.  The only options we have for caller ID are the main site number (US number - not much good when you're in the UK), or hiding the caller ID.  Is there a way to use the users assigned phone number as the called ID?  I've tried adding a custom number, but the only option I get is to add an auto attendant from the US site.

Is it possible to have more registrations for a Zoom meeting than what my current license allows as a limit of participants? I.e. while on Pro license have over 100 registrations for the meeting assuming not everyone show up. Thanks for advice!

I create nearly 100 meetings each month for our team using meeting templates but we have some custom text that we need to add to the registration confirmation emails.  The meeting template function doesn't save the paragraph that we add to our Confirmation Email to Registrants so I have to copy & paste this in every meeting.  I'm wondering if I'm missing something and if there is a way I can save the Confirmation Email to Registrants with our custom text so I don't have to copy & paste 100+ times every month.  Thank you!

What is the best practice for time-of-day call routing? We have one central number with six users spread across multiple time zones with up to 3-hour time differences. The users who start first in the morning will answer the calls, but some users will still be in bed. We still want calls to go to voicemail after hours and on weekends. Is it simply a case of ensuring users have their hours set up correctly and having one call queue with the spread of all possible working hours listed or am I missing something more efficient? There are also multiple places to enter Default Business Hours. Users, Auto receptionists, Company info etc. Is there one place that overrides them all, or do we ensure they're all set up? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a webinar planned and approve manually each registration. I would like to export the current registrations list (pending and confirmed ones) but did not find how to proceed. I used to do it in the past: is there any change on that feature? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!Charles
