I am new to Zoom phone, and I can't believe how incredibly frustrating it is trying to set it up. I have finally gotten a voicemail greeting in place, but I do not receive notifications when someone leaves a voicemail. Does anyone know how I may be able to fix this? 

I am having some coworkers who are set up under a Call Queue where they receive the Calls Simultaneously. Unfortunately, it seems inconsistent. Many of the members of the team (5-7 people) won't receive every call. Sometimes 3 will get the call at the same time, but the others won't. Then the next call other people will. But there doesn't seem to be any pattern to who gets what call. I added myself to help troubleshoot and I've received every call so far. Does anyone have any suggestions to help make this more stable? I already had them move from their phones to only answer on their computer, but that didn't seem to help. 

I've set up holiday hours but now need to edit /delete but I can't find how to do this!!!  Any help appreciated 🙂 

We recently migrated from RC to Zoom.  Same number block bulk ported to Zoom.  Everything seems to work fine, except......Our big hurdle at this point is another provider's SMS messages reaching Zoom DID's anywhere between 90-120 seconds from sending.  Testing a personal cellular to Zoom DID, Zoom client or desktop soft phone Zoom DID to another Zoom DID,  SMS takes seconds.  From the SMS provider to a personal cell phone, seconds.   We have a ticket opened with the third party provider, and with Zoom, but not much traction in the last two weeks.To me, it sounds like some type of routing issue.  Its like it bounces around and finally finds a path out.What would happen if the two providers didnt have a working relationship [contract type]?  Would the SMS just die or timeout?  Anyone else experience SMS troubles?

Hi One man business here - got the Auto Reception (ex 101) routing calls to the one users (100). How do i change the voicemail greeting? My only option appears to be 'Default' and there isnt an EDIT option per the documentation.  thanks!  

This might be a silly question, but when should an agent toggle in/out of call queues on the app and when should they use the toggle on the web app profile screen?We've noticed a lot of overflow calls when we have available agents and I wondered if this be contributing to this? 

I am looking at getting a zoom phone system for our small business. My wife and I are currently the only employees and often we are on the phone with clients at the same time. I don't want to have two different numbers as we have been using one office number through a personal google voice system and that number is in all of our marketing materials and online, etc... if I pay for two licenses will we both be able to make and receive calls at the same time with the same number or do I just need to add one more number to fwd to if someone is on the main number? Hi there, Our company is currently going through a Demerger. With that our Zoom accounts are separate between the two divisions that our company is demerging. However, there are teams that still have not separated out between the two divisions. I'm wondering if, similar to our Zoom meetings account being linked between two companies, if it is possible to link two Zoom phone systems to each other just to make it easier for people to make calls between the two accounts and to try to not get murdered by our receptionist if they need to have two phones. 

Hi there. I've noticed my users will record a personalized voicemail greeting for their extension. However, because our phone system is configured for 'business hours' (or open hours), there will be a spot for 2 different greetings (a greeting that will be played during busines hours, and a different greeting to be played during closed hours). Is it possible to change a setting so the same greeting is used regardless of the time of day? (Without changing the 'business hour settings'). Alternatively, could you easily duplicate a greeting so it can be used for both greetings?Thanks.

I synced the calendar and contacts from office 365 to zoom portal. On the zoom windows desktop app a box appears on the side for  cloud contacts which are my outlook contacts synching. Now on the zoom app on my ios device or on my yealink vp59 running appliance mode no section appears and my office 365 contacts do not show on that device... my calendar appointments do not my contacts. 

I'm trying to set Outbound Caller ID for our new Zoom Phone account. Firstly, why is there no default setting for all accounts to use one number, I can't seem to find anything. Anyone who doesn't have Outbound Called ID set cannot make outbound calls.Secondly, when I got into each user and look at the Outbound Caller ID dropdown, there is nothing I can select. In our Phone Numbers section there is the initial number we got on Zoom Phone sign up, and 2 pending numbers which are porting in. the initial Zoom Phone number is working fine. To set the Outbound Caller ID, I have to add it in as a Custom number. Then after that the  Outbound Caller ID dropdown is populated and I can now select that number, and then remove the custom number. seems too round about. Where do I set the dropdown selection?

My user using poly vvx250 phone set, why does a local incoming call the caller ID marked with a "+" in front of the caller ID?  Normally any local calls the caller ID should not have a "+".  And now the user cannot return calls based on the caller ID in the phone set call history because the caller ID starting with "+" sign is not a valid local phone number pattern.  How can I remove the "+" sign in the incoming caller ID?

Hi does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the declaration for who called when listening to voicemail? IE "voicemail from 123-456-7890..." need to do this on a mass scale.

Is everyone on my team required to get a user license? Or do I just get a license for myself and then assign additional phone lines to my team? I don't understand if each person needs a license and extension first before we can add an additional direct phone line for them.

Can one receive phone call or video call notification simultaneously on desktop and iPhone?

Hello all,I am troubleshooting an issue where the caller ID information is dropped/changed, to the transferee, when the call is transferred  to a call queue. Here is the scenario, I called from my cell phone to our main office number, auto-attendant answers, I went through the prompts to reach Customer Service (this is a call queue of 3 extensions, including the receptionist, set to ring successively [CS rep1 -> CS rep2 -> Rcpt]) if the call makes it to the receptionist and they answer the call and then transfer it back to the Customer Service queue, the caller id info changes from the Caller's info to the receptionist's info.If the receptionist transfer the call direct to an extension the caller ID remains correct.The call logs don't seem to help with this issue.The Customer Service reps claim this only recently started happening. The receptionist claims calls for customer service to her phone have recently become more frequent.

Recently Zoom calling my phone for audio results in "accepted", but the phone never rings. So who is accepting the Zoom connection if my phone is not? This ALWAYS fails on first call, and works on second call. How to get Zoom to fix?

I have recently come across an issue using my zoom phone. I will enter a phone number ex. 415-555-1234Zoom will automatically enter a (1) at the beginning of the number but it is not visible and, therefore, you cannot remove it. I am having issues because sometimes I get an automated msg that says "the number you have dialed is not long distance. You do not need to add a 1 in front of the number" and then the call won't go through.Just now, I had a voicemail automated attendant that said "in order to leave a message for the client, please enter their phone number and area code" - this is to cut back on spam messages I assume. When I entered the number, the auto attendant said " 1 415 555 1234" is not a valid number. I didn't enter the 1.  Zoom did this on it's own. help.

We recently set up audio intercoms for all users.  When we click on the intercom icon on the lines tab, nothing happens for about 10 seconds and then the system places a phone call to the user selected.  Neither party's phone beeps, as they should.  Neither party is one the phone, etc.  All phones have Zoom devices selected to receive intercom.  What am I missing?

When someone transfers a call, the caller ID come up as the person who transferred the call. Is there away to make the caller ID come up as the person who made the call??

Yesterday our phones worked perfectly, today we have incoming calls but when we answer the line goes dead, same happens when we call out. So frustrating and upsetting for our clients, it really isn't good enough.All we did was download the 'new' desktop version. grrrr

On zoomphone.I want to set up the system so that even if 10 people are waiting, only 3 calls can be connected at the same time. Maximum number of simultaneous calls in queue: 3but there seems to be times when more than 4 people are talking to each other. Please advise.

Trying to get this call flow to work (see image attached) but if no agent is in the call queue (eg; out to lunch)It gives the following voice greeting "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable, good bye" Then hangs up instead of going to the Auto Receptionist (AnsweringService) Have tried setting the overflow of the Call Queue (see attached) to go to the Auto Receptionist (AnsweringService) but no change. Is this a limitation of Call Queues or should I be using a different call flow to accomplish this flow?

I realize there is another recent post about blocking anonymous callers - yet it's marked resolved without actually being a resolution. I've just received 5-6 back-to-back calls from "anonymous" Caller ID, all leaving the same automated message about 'press one to complete your order". It's ridiculous that I cannot block these. When is Zoom going to code something into their setup that allows us to block these? It's becoming a rampant issue. Thank you!

I am wondering if it is possible to set up Zoom vmail to end the recording when it detects a solid "beeping" sound?  We are getting 5 minutes of a recording "beeping". Thank you!
