Hi everyone, I hope the subject says it all - I would like to know if "Main Company Number" consumes 1 phone number license or may be it doesn't because it's the "Main Company Number" and not a user assigned phone number so possibly we get a free bee?  To illustrate which license exactly that is - see screenshot; we don't have that many phone number licenses hence my question whether we need to consider one specifically for "Main Company Number" Thank you for your guidance!  

Does anyone know if the ability exists today to auto select the callerID based on called location for users with multiple CallerIDs?   Example i have US, Australia, New Zealand phone numbers and place a call to each, can Zoom change my ID automatically without me having to select it from the drop down each time?  

  

Over the past few months we have had several clients complain that when they call us they hear one ring tone and then it clicks over to a subtle white noise with no further ring tone. After some testing we discovered that we are still receiving the call on our end even though the caller can't hear anything. We are using Zoom Pro with Polycom desk phones as well as the apps on our phones and laptops. Any ideas what is going on?

Is there a way when making a zoom outbound call, to display our company name.  Therefore, the individual can see the incoming call is from our company.  if so, how do I set this up?

Am I safe to assume  when configuring my auto receptionist, if I choose to not have it go direct to IVR I need to set the custom hours of when the phone should ring internally and point the route call to an individual so that the line will ring?

Hello,  I signed up for Zoom phone last night and the app is able to make phone calls and receive, however, when i click SMS and want to start a new message it says .. You don't have a direct number. You cannot start a new conversation.  Any help ?   Thanks 

Hi all, I am hoping for a solution here.  I have a staff member who only uses Zoom Phone via the mobile app. He is not part of our main call flow, so he does not receive the incoming calls from the main auto-attendant / number. Only we can transfer calls to him, or customers can contact him via his external number. When he's on a call, when another call comes in, it disrupts his current call which is frustrating. Is there a way we can setup the Zoom profile for him to send incoming calls to voice mail when he's busy?  I know the desktop app changes your status to busy, but mobile does not have this functionality? Are there any options for only mobile users? I presume there would be, please advise. Kind regards,Adam

I have a State-mandated requirement that users be able to exit an "On Hold" state at any time but I can't find a reference to that anywhere. Did I miss it or does it not exist?

I'm trying to prevent call queue members from receiving queue calls when they are already in a (Zoom) call or meeting.  I have the queue set to route to the user who has been idle the longest.  Calls are being routed to users who are in (Zoom) meetings, are in (Zoom system) calls, or have placed outbound calls.  Users can manually "Opt-out" for every non-queue activity, then "Opt-In" once the activity is complete, but that is inefficient and results in poor system performance. Users regularly forget to "Opt-In" after their current activity ends, and unless they manually seek their queue status, have no indication they are not active in the queue. How can I ensure that queue calls are routed to AVAILABLE users?

I'm leaving my current consulting gig after many years and this account is linked to that company so won't be on here after tomorrow. We'll see if any future work involves Zoom Phone, if so I'll be back at that point! Been helpful being on this forum! I am setting up Zoom Phone and SMS. I've gone through all the setup steps for SMS, campaigns, etc. And now I still can't text to or from my recently ported number. Is there a propagation time on any of this? The number came back as ported yesterday and I noticed this morning that my campaign I applied for yesterday is now active. Or am I missing something else? 

SMS campaign is  active. Has phone number assigned to to it.That same number shows : A campaign is currently pending on this numberIt has been active for a couple of weeks.There is only one campaign.I cannot send or receive SMSOnly one phone number.Only one user {the admin}The number is assigned to that person.

Hi all...I use ZOOM phone service through my work account, but I work from home. Each morning I start up ZOOM, I need to completely log out of ZOOM and restart the app before I can make calls. Several days ago, the resetting process no longer worked. ZOOM will not connect for phone calls (Service Unavailable: Code 503). The phone pad stays greyed out, so I can't make any calls. When I try to look at the details of the error, it says Registration Error. I have tried rebooting the app multiple times, and rebooting my computer and modem/router several times. Nothing is working. ZOOM continues to attempt connection all day, but no success. It was suggested that I turn off my SIP ALG setting in my modem, but nobody seems to know how to navigate around within my router settings to find this one setting, including my service provider who gave us the modem! All recommendations welcome...

Hello and advance thanks. Is anyone able to advise please. We have the phone system as below.  What we cant figure out is how to set this up so when one of the extensions is on a call - its shows on the system that extension is in use. Whilst when, for example, I am on a call, I can see that a staff member is trying to call me, however I cant end the call with a client to take the internal call, so need the system to show other users my extension is in use.  Help!! 

We are about to roll out Zoom phone to our teachers this fall.  They already have Zoom desktop app installed on their MacBooks since we have been using Zoom Meeting for years. I'm trying to come up with a User Template to disable incoming calls on these phone during business hours and forward directly to voicemail. They will all be in class teaching lessons and we don't want them to get incoming parent calls during class.  I'm looking for an automated solution- not one that involves me relying on them manually setting something up. Anyone have any ideas? 

Hi,In some of our offices we use the phone delegation feature.  Mostly with the main number in a department.  If the person who is responsible for answering that phone is unavailable, another person in the room can pickup the call. Although it appears both phones ring.  We would rather the delegate's phone NOT ring.  Is this possible? 

Hello, I think I have a pretty simple question but can't seem to sort it out.  I'm one person that wants one direct dial number.  I added Zoom Phone to my Zoom account and it looks like I have Zoom Phone Basic based on the questions I answered. I now have a "main number" and one extension. I don't really need this. I don't want anyone having to dial an extension to reach me nor do I need a generic main number. Also, I have no plans to add other people any time soon.  My question is this:  What is the best/simplest/lowest cost way to get one direct dial number? Do I need to change my plan from Basic to something else or do I need to add a second line? I appreciate any feedback! Thanks.

Me and a handful of colleagues updated to the latest zoom, Version: 5.14.2 (17213). We go into the phone section on the app and our history for both calling and text is gone. 

Our Front Desk Voice mail box has changed users and no one knows the PIN.  How can the voice mail PIN be changed?

When calling from the shared line to an outgoing number, the caller ID shows us as just the number rather than the name assigned to the Shared Line.  Is there a way to change the Shared Line outgoing caller ID to reflect a name rather than a number?

Hi, I have come across two users so far who show different time zones on their phone records than on their user records. We are in Eastern time. Their records under User Management both show Eastern time. Their records under Phone System Management show Pacific time, and it is not editable. Is this setting made some where else? Todd

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a recommendation of physical phone (on the ZTP list) capable of Zoom Video calls. We do have Zoom phone system and usually use one of the low end Poly models that work fine with voice but I want a higher end phone which possibly can do Zoom video - obviously the thing would come with decent size LCD and a camera? Example - Yealink VP59 device but it's unclear as to exactly whether it can do what I want.ThanksBoyan 

Hello, We have 3 Zoom power pack users, but one of them does not have the widget for Zoom assistant when they log in to their Zoom app. I checked that the toggle is on and running the latest version (5.14.0)

Hey Zoom team, I was trying to set up our new zoom phone system since we got all our numbers ported today but when adding the auto-assistant I thought I needed to change the number but when I removed the number from the Auto-assistant it completely deleted our newly ported main phone number for our business. I contacted support to see what could be done but after an hour they sent me an email to a place to open a ticket to recover the number and I'm not even sure if I filled out the ticket correctly. We cannot receive phone calls to our business and I'm wondering how long it may be before we get our number back in our account or what the chances of getting our number back at all? Honestly, it is a horrible UX design to be able to delete a phone number entirely from the account through the auto-assistant section. Why wouldn't the number just go back in to unassigned?
