Phone

Hello.  We have the following situation: We have a call queue set up of our receptionist phone.  Most of the time our receptionist is the only person logged into this queue answering calls. I would like to set it up so that when the receptionist is out that we can have it to roll to another sub-set of users and ring them all simultaneously. Would like to do this without having to have anyone other than the receptionist login/out of the call queue.  Any ideas of how to make it normally go to the receptionist and then in the event she is not logged into the queue have it simultaneously ring another group?  Is there a way to do this with group rotating?

This might turn into a feature request thread:   Cloud Contacts For Office365/Outlook contacts, what is the reasoning for this not appearing under Contacts?  These devices show other data (i.e. calendar events) from O365, why not contacts? I see a similar discussion here for YeaLink phones, but this also applies to any device that is provisioned under Admin>Device Management>Device List.  My company uses Poly CCX700 series phones.   Personal Contacts and Shared External Contacts From what I can see, even though you have phone numbers defined for a contact, the phone icon doesn't appear - only the Zoom Meet Icon appears. (see attached) - Any way that this can show up?

There is a "Silnece Ringer" setting in the general settings on the Zoom Phone app on the desktop phone, can this setting be turned on or off on a schedule? For example, it is ON Monday through Friday and OFF Saturday through Sunday and holidays. The device I am using is a Yealink MP58Firmware Version122.30.0.20Hardware version135.2.0.0.1.0.32Zoom version5.12.6.2097

Hello,I'm trying to enable location permissions for emergency calling for users on our domain.  When trying to check the box in the zoom settings the system settings pop up presumably to enable it for the app but every option is grayed out.  In the system settings under privacy: "Location for this device is on", "Allow apps to access your location" set to on, "Allow desktop apps to access your location" set to on.  If I log on as admin this setting is on and works normally.  Is there some permission setting or GPO we need to change to make this work for normal users?

We are looking to migrate to a new CRM next year, one that can be customized to be less sales based, and more general relationship and communication management. One requirement is that it has to have Zoom Phone integration.  Microsoft Dynamics seems so expensive.  Has anyone else found a solution that they love?

After uninstalling to zoom app on my Huawei P30pro, because was blocked, I cannot reinstall it anymore. I tried from Googleplay, from Appgallery and directly the apk from zoom website. It starts to install but then stops and say that cannot. Is there anyone that know how to solve it? Thank you.

90% of calls to me, are not actually for me.  Where is list of functions I can use in my outgoing voicemail message to give instructions to callers so they can transfer themselves to the correct extension? For Example "..if you need the help desk dial X, if you need accounts payable dial X" etc.

We use a secondary customer service program that requires us to enter the incoming phone number to locate an account. The phone number is hidden during the call which is not very efficient.

my phone number in my signature is always hightlighted in green with the letter F in a box.  Does anyone know how i can change this?

Hi, I am following below article to set up my default app as Zoom for URL:tel https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360027633731-Enabling-and-Using-Click-to-DialEnabling click-to-dialType "default apps" in the Windows search bar.Click Default apps in the search results.Scroll down and click Choose default apps by protocol.Find CALLTO, click Choose a default, then select Zoom Meetings. If you already have an app assigned, click it and select Zoom Meetings.Find TEL, click Choose a default, then select Zoom Meetings. If you already have an app assigned, click it and select Zoom Meetings. but I don't see any option in there. (I have reset my settings and restarted my PC but same result). Is anyone know how to set up the default app? Thanks,Tak

Is it possible to set up some type of  rule or other setting to a have an incoming number going straight to voicemail. Wasn't sure if the best option is  in call delegation, call handling, or somehow using a block list. All other phone numbers can come in normally.

every time I receive a call it plays a message that this call is being recorded. How do i disable it, thanks

I set up 2 users, assigned numbers and phones.  I cannot make outbounds calls.  it says on the phone "Emergency Calls Only"  I have made sure the users can do Outgoing calls.  They can receive calls and I can dial their extension. Any insight on this?!   ThanksKendall

Currently, once you answer the call, the phone number gets hidden. It would be very helpful to have it retained on the app during the call.

We have an on-premises MultiTech FaxFinder server that we are hoping we can use with Zoom Phone.  We see that the Polycom OBi302 ATA is supported.   Am I thinking correctly about this that I can add the OBi302 device in the zoom admin Portal > Phone Systems Management > Phones and Devices > and assign all my user fax numbers to this device.    My goal is that clients can still dial my users existing fax numbers, the call would come into my OBi302 device and then be handed off to the fax server.    Am I thinking about this correctly? I would appreciate any input.

I signed up for a zoom virtual phone and the number is 260-299-3588. I have five laundromats that have their own landlines. How do I set zoom phone as the main number and then choose from the options to call LX1, LX2, LX3, LX 4, or LX5? So when a customer calls the zoom number (Main Number) which should be our main number then they should have an option to select the location they want to call. The locations do not want their own licenses and neither they want to transfer between the locations.

Several of my clients have begun to use Zoom Phone for their office phone numbers.  However, when I call them from my business line, it shows the wrong name for my company, but shows the information is "verified" on their screen. What caller ID lookup service is Zoom using to provide incoming caller ID to Phone clients?  And, if not using an external service (such as Hiya) how can I get this changed in the Zoom caller ID database?

I am new to Zoom phone, and I can't believe how incredibly frustrating it is trying to set it up. I have finally gotten a voicemail greeting in place, but I do not receive notifications when someone leaves a voicemail. Does anyone know how I may be able to fix this?

I am having some coworkers who are set up under a Call Queue where they receive the Calls Simultaneously. Unfortunately, it seems inconsistent. Many of the members of the team (5-7 people) won't receive every call. Sometimes 3 will get the call at the same time, but the others won't. Then the next call other people will. But there doesn't seem to be any pattern to who gets what call. I added myself to help troubleshoot and I've received every call so far. Does anyone have any suggestions to help make this more stable? I already had them move from their phones to only answer on their computer, but that didn't seem to help.

I've set up holiday hours but now need to edit /delete but I can't find how to do this!!!  Any help appreciated 🙂

We recently migrated from RC to Zoom.  Same number block bulk ported to Zoom.  Everything seems to work fine, except......Our big hurdle at this point is another provider's SMS messages reaching Zoom DID's anywhere between 90-120 seconds from sending.  Testing a personal cellular to Zoom DID, Zoom client or desktop soft phone Zoom DID to another Zoom DID,  SMS takes seconds.  From the SMS provider to a personal cell phone, seconds.   We have a ticket opened with the third party provider, and with Zoom, but not much traction in the last two weeks. To me, it sounds like some type of routing issue.  Its like it bounces around and finally finds a path out. What would happen if the two providers didnt have a working relationship [contract type]?  Would the SMS just die or timeout?  Anyone else experience SMS troubles?

Hi One man business here - got the Auto Reception (ex 101) routing calls to the one users (100). How do i change the voicemail greeting? My only option appears to be 'Default' and there isnt an EDIT option per the documentation.  thanks!

This might be a silly question, but when should an agent toggle in/out of call queues on the app and when should they use the toggle on the web app profile screen? We've noticed a lot of overflow calls when we have available agents and I wondered if this be contributing to this?
