When I set background there is an error ocurred

Zoom has been pretty stable for me for a long time on Fedora. I was even able to do screensharing on Wayland for a while but unfortunately it is now broken for me (zoom v7.0.0, Linux 6.19.14, Fedora 43, Gnome 49, Wayland, AMD). Maybe 6.x still works, but currently on 7.0.0When I select what to share (desktop or window) zoom crashes. At first, I thought it had to do with a secondary monitor that I had temporarily connected but after disconnecting and clearing the monitor info cache the issue remained.It crashes with all 3 modes: Original / PipeWire / PipeWire Remote Control:Here is an analysis with logs and all: https://gist.github.com/ramonsmits/8711e77200fee646e07621a526b5262c

When I record there is always a lag between audio and video.

very frustrating and maddeningthe banner says it recording and transcribing - cannot find any file locally or online this was a very important meeting and we had to manually create what we remember from our discussionsZoom is not something we can depend on - anyone else have this problem?  probably going to have t use something like teams or otter.ai, zoom is becoming a waste of money  

I register my webinars on the cloud and I don't have any pronblems with the audio transcriptions.I have a fiend who would like to make audio transcriptions from this webinars that last 90 minutes which he downloads on his hard disk. But he doesn't find the audio transcriptions file?I don't know how to help him so far. I wonder if there is a duration limit on the transcription or if the problem comes from the fact that he registers his files on the hard disk? I thought he might shut down his PC before the transcription was made but he says it is not the case.Any idea or feedback welcome.Thanks in advance

This forces the use of the Waiting Room and prevents participants from joining meetings freely.I kindly ask you to:— disable the mandatory Waiting Room requirement for my account;— allow participants to join meetings before the host without being placed in a Waiting Room.This functionality is essential for my use case, as I need participants to be able to join meetings without waiting for host approval.Please let me know if any additional steps are required from my side.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards,

I can't install zoom workplace app in this devices , samsund tablet galaxy tab A 2016

I am a consultant who conducts lots of interviews for projects. I have always used otter.ai for notes and then downloaded them into word. I was told by someone that the new Zoom note-taker is better because it knows how is talking and can attribute the words correctly. I have been using it the last two days and it is very good and accurate. I have is that I now have 10 separate AI Docs with transcripts. The problem is what when I try to download into Word or PDF, the only thing on the document that is downloaded is the generic Zoom title; not the actual transcript. Is there a way to do this wihout having to copy/past each entire transcript into a Word doc on my desktop?

r you no longer allowed to schedule meeting ? this new format is terrible. Im switching over to teams. Stop fixing stuff that isnt broken!!

Hello, everybody!I am running a latest Zoom version on Intel-based Apple Mac Mini 2018, on macOS Sequoia 15.7.3 (24G419).When I try to share screen with audio (share audio checkbox is active) from my computer, the Zoom Audio Device driver installation DOES NOT pop up, how it used to on other systems. I tried to uninstall / reinstall Zoom several times, I also tried older versions and it just does not work.Does anybody know how to (manually) trigger the installation of Zoom Audio Device driver? Please help!

Good morning everyone, I have a problem with zoom audio sharing.The Zoomaudio Device driver does not appear on my Macbook pro Intel version.I have upgraded to sequoia 15.2I should share audio from pro tools, but when I click on mac midi configuration to create a bridge, zoom audio device does not appear.thanks for the advice

I can’t pull up my word or PP documents to share on screen. I’m using the web-based version and have the latest update. Help please

For the past 3 weeks, we have gotten an emails "A meeting in your account has been running for 8 hour(s)".   This meeting is started in the early morning (like 1 AM) and is started using the account for one of our Zoom Rooms.  The zoom room does have the whole logitech device hooked up to it.  There is no one in the office at that time to start a meeting.  The meeting does not show up in any of the logs. Topic:  Share nowMeeting ID:  xxx xxxx xxxxHost:  Account associated with a Zoom RoomTime:  Jul 2, 2022 01:37 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)  Has anyone had this happen?  or any idea what the cause is? 

Hi everyone! Thx for taking the time to help.So the thing is a few days ago I tried to use Zoom again after a few years, to give an online music lesson to a student of mine. After updating it to the lastest versión available, I connected my external soundcard (M  Audio Air 192 - 4) and correctly adjusted zoom´s audio setup to work with it, selecting my device as both the audio input and output. After that, I tried the usual tests in Zoom setup, and everything seemed to be working just fine: my voice was going into the software and out through the speakers, so I could hear myself clearly.Then, I proceded to Host a Meeting, but noticed a warning saying my Audio wasn´t connected. I tried everything, from rechecking the audio setup from Zoom´s config, to reinstalling it and changing every config on my Windows audio setup, but everything seems to be working normally

My login report shows different times than the ones scheduled for the meetings. What's the reason?

We've recorded 4 previous meetings with Zoom and used the recordings for a video blog.  On our 5th interview, I've noticed weird bit-mapping appearing randomly throughout the video.  Chunks of area on the video seem to have a moiré effect and/or pixelating going on.  Sometimes on the eyelids of participants, around their faces and in the background.It was not noticed during the filming of the meeting, but appears in the playback of the video.What is causing this effect?  I'd like to avoid it in the future.Can the existing video be corrected without re-recoding it?Thanks in advance. 

3 months ago we had a conference on January 17th, we had a paid subscription then, we recorded the conference on the cloud, the subscription ended in a month, today we wanted to watch the recording, but there was nothing there, we paid for the subscription today, but there was still nothing there

I am with an academic institution that offers an Enterprise version of Zoom, which I access through Google Chrome on a Mac.  My default settings are to record every meeting in the cloud.  However, I noticed today that all my meetings are "disappearing" and I cannot find a "trash" icon on the web-based view to recover.  Has something changed recently?  Can someone help me find my "lost" recordings?

Hi,I am a tech host for an anonymous 12-Step group (AA). We are frequently affected by Zoom Bombers. I know about the option to report them to zoom, but there are rumours that when doing so, a screenshot of the entire meeting will automatically be taken and sent to zoom. Of course this would be a no-go for an anonymous group.Are these rumours true?TIA,Heinrich P.S.: I apologise in advance if this should be a FAQ, but searching did not raise any precise information.

Trying to join a zoom meeting. A screen pops up and says “update downloaded.” after that it says “ ✔ The installer is ready. If installation didn’t start, you can run it again below.” nothing downloads so i click on the “run the installer” button provided, but nothing happens. The button doesn’t do anything and nothing downloads.i download the new version from the website, but still can’t join the meeting. help me please :)

Zoom has started enlarging or zooming in the video and appears to randomly move about. Dual streamed, for a while now, via VMIX to a different output where things look completely different. The same video feed is supplying both outputs and have for the longest time been exactly the same. Now Zoom looks horrible, very close up and the motion seems weird and random. It almost looks like an AI is trying to focus on some preferred point. This is new, and I don’t know what is causing it.

I am doing a virtual baby shower for my daughter. I purchased games that only work with zoom . I upgraded my account. My question is how do I download the games for my meeting?
