Every time I open Zoom after shutting down my PC, I have to update the software. Its the same every time. It takes me back to 5 something and updates me to 6 something. I have logged onto the automatic update section of device management / Zoom web portal but both auto settings are switched off already. I also tried to make zoom an exception on my anti-virus but no joy. Its been happening for months, possibly a year and means I have to wait for a re-load every time I want to use the app. Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance 🙂 ( I have windows 360/5 ? not tech savvy I am afraid!)

Hello all, Appreciate the help. Have combed through articles on here and some YT videos. I've even added reoccuring hosts already except now the field isn't editable.  I NEED to add a couple of more co-hosts who will regularly attend the meetings (without everytime assigning them co-host status.) Co- HOST is already enabled in meetings (basic) settings.  I can also see 2 co-hosts in the Meeting/Personal rm/ALT. field.    WHat am I doing wrong? 

Nothing I've found so far about this question works for me. I can't find a setting on the MacOS client which lets you adjust noise suppression. Selecting "Original Sound for Musicians" or "Live Performance Audio" does nothing. There is no setting to adjust noise suppression to "Low" which was suggested in some posts. Some said the problem is with Windows 11. I'm not using that! The documentation says AI is used to suppress noise. I want this off permanently! Even for voice meetings. Why is this so much to ask for?

The size of the presenter video is perfect while recording a PowerPoint video.  However, the size of the presenter video is very small in the actual recorded video!  What am I doing wrong?????  Please help me................  BTW, I'm using two monitors when recording.

Hi,I first bought Zoom One Pro, but later I needed more participants' capacity so I also bought Large Meeting. Under my 'Current Plans': Zoom One Pro and Large MeetingsSo I have two questions:1. Is Large meeting an add-on or a license itself? Can I cancel Zoom One Pro and keep using Large Meeting or not?2. While scheduling a meeting for tomorrow, do I have to select the license type in order to have more than 100 participants? Or my all meeting will automatically be upgraded to 500 participants?

On a mac hosting a meeting , each time a participant enter or exit the meeting a grey bar appear and disappear on the top of the second screen when a participant was pin on second screen. (Fullscreen)Somebody else got this issue? 

I want to use polls for hybrid teaching setting, where part of the participants are logged into Zoom from remote locations and part is sitting in a room with the lecturer (without being logged into ZOOM).When I start the poll the remote-participants can answer via ZOOM.The others can answer using the QR-Code and smartphone to answer (they are not logged in with ZOOM).Is this last group somehow counted towards my max. meeting-participants (since they are not logged in) or not?Could I have a meeting maximum of 100, have 100 people answering in ZOOM and additionally 50 people sitting in the room with the meeting host, using their devices to answer via QR-Code?

Please can anyone tell me if there is a way to turn off/change the audio for desktop meeting reminders?The notification is so so loud, I don't have any issues with any of the other sound settings for various apps. I want to keep the popups that appear on the desktop, just remove the sound notification, or change it to something softer at least.

When I enter a meeting Zoom automatically uses my Google account (with private email and picture, which I do not want to use) instead of using the one I have logged in with (my work email and picture, which I would like to use).Any solution to this, please?

Can I lock the settings of existing Break Out Rooms that I have created? Recently I had 30 minute Break Out sessions in progress. While setting up the next set of Break Out Rooms, I accidentally started editing the participants in the sessions that were underway. Fortunately only minor disruptions took place until a Co-Host notified me. Is there a way to lock the sessions underway while defining the next set of rooms?

My Zoom recordings in Meetings have suddenly started leaving out the webcam and so, when I present a slidedeck, I am left with a recording that shows a slideshow with a disembodied voice over the top of it. It never used to do this and I have not changed any settings.I use a Macbook Air with Mac Sequioa 15.5 (24F74) and I'm wondering if it's a Mac thing. Anyone experienced something similar and fixed it?

I wanted to share my website screen in a Zoom meeting with my students for teaching purposes but the screen was stuck and my students were unable to take my class yesterday.

We did a meeting yesterday and some speakers were loud and one particular speaker was barely audible. Can we make adjustment to raise the audio level of his/her speech?

Hi,I will be interviewing two people (not a job interview)about their experiences in a certain subject.I want to set their video box up as the main2 video's and my video to be smaller on the bottom.I want the video boxes of all three of us to staythe same size throughout the interview.How do I set this up in Zoom?Thank youGavin

Hi guys,I have been using Zoom for a while now, and it has worked really well.  However, the new 6.4 client seems to be buggy on Linux.I am primarily trying to use it on a tower running Debian 12.I just tested 6.4.3 and 6.3.11.I did the same thing with both, set up a meeting on this tower PC, using my free Zoom account, and connected to it using the same account from my laptop.For both versions it allowed the connection, video came through, but I couldn't hear audio from the laptop (maybe unrelated, probably not significant, I only had my phone to play sounds near the laptop).The main problem is that when the laptop left the meeting, for 6.4.3, it did not notice that the laptop had left the meeting, it ran 3 cores out of 4 at maximum, Zoom failed to exit the meeting on the tower, and crashed the whole computer when I tried to kill it.When the laptop left the meeting hosted by 6.3.11, Zoom noticed the laptop had left, and exited c

I created a meeting using manually-approved registrations.  When the meeting started, many people could not join.  The link took them back to Register for the Meeting.  I could not get the actual meeting link.  I tried and wound up with a link that again took them back to Register for the Meeting.  I did not realize at the time that I could resend the link from the Manage Attendees in the Registration section.  Finally one attendee started sharing her link.  Soon we had a dozen Nancy's who had joined. Any idea why the link seemed to go back to the Registration area instead of into the meeting?  I learned from this that next time I should do a send the link to everyone shortly before the meeting so they have a good link near the top of their mailbox. 

It seems that my PC has everything as required to ba able to use powerpoint as virtual background, but the option is not active (light grey) and it is impossible to click on it... I do not have idea how to manage it... I saw differtent youtube tutorial, but I cannot find out why the option is grey... thanks for you help!the zoom version on my PC is 5.10.4 my PC has Core i7 and windows 11

Dear fellow Zoom users, I would like to know if any Monterey users out there have any compatibility issues with Zoom. Currently, we have a 2021 MacBook Pro with Monterey v. 12.2 that seems to work seamlessly with various tests (screen-sharing, playback, audio, and video). I am compelled to know what other Monterey users' experience with Zoom. It would be a great help if you could respond to this post. Potrait lighting enabled by defualt in the account. Not able to turn off through Admin console. Settings not seen. Please help on priority

Ich bin Host eines Meetings, das mit dem Klang meiner Klangschale beginnt und endet. Dazu gibt es bei Zoom die Option Originalton, wobei Hintergrundgeräusche nicht unterdrückt werden. Auf meinem alten PC hat das sehr gut funktioniert. Mit all den dafür notwendigen Einstellungen auf dem neuen PC bleibt der Sound der Klangschale unterdrückt. Auch die Auswahl Originalton Aus/Ein li. oben während des Meetings hilft nicht.Weiß jemand, wie ich die Klangschale hörbar machen kann?

Hello,I am presenting a keynote presentation for a group of 20 participants tomorrow via Zoom. I included a video of myself inside the Keynote but it is lagging when I record via Zoom. So, now I'm wondering how I can show my face on Zoom while sharing my screen? I can see myself in the upper-right hand corner, but when I tested it with a friend, the participant cannot see me.Please help! I am simply using a Zoom meeting link.Thank you.

Hello, may I know how to fix/prevent when I share the screen in zoom meeting, it always prompt the following message? "Screen sharing has stopped because the external display is disconnected"

I recently have been having issues with Zoom meeting attendees, specifically those using their phones, having very poor sound quality. I encourage people to update their app, but not sure what to do beyond that. These people are usually not very tech savvy and have limited trouble shooting ability. The issue doesn't seem to affect those using laptops.
