How To Manage Subscriptions and Notifications Community subscriptions help you stay up to date on community activity that is of most interest to you. By receiving notifications on community activity, you can stay alert on new posts, replies to posts, and helpful solutions provided. You can subscribe to receive notifications for a specific category or post.To subscribe to a piece of content:Navigate to the post you want to subscribe to. Scroll to the bottom of the post and click FollowWhen you subscribe, you will receive an email notification when there is new reply to a post. To subscribe to a specific location:Navigate to the category you would like to subscribe to. Click Subscribe at the top of the feed.When you subscribe, you will receive an email notification when there is new content posted within a category. To follow a community user:Navigate to the profile of the community user that you would like to follow. How To Search the Zoom Community There is a lot of content within the community, and oftentimes, frequently asked questions and answers already exist. Therefore, we encourage you to search the community first to see if your question has already been asked and answered.How to search using the text fieldType your search term in the search field labeled Search the Zoom Community. You can find the search field at the top of any community page. Tip: Use quotation marks for exact phrases (e.g., search "meeting virtual background" to find results with those words together in the same order).As you begin typing your search term, the system will populate relevant suggested search results. If you do not find what you are looking for with the predictive suggested search results, click Enter on your keyboard or the magnifying glass to the right of the search field. How To Reply To A Post We encourage you to show off your Zoom expertise and knowledge by providing helpful replies to discussions.To reply to a post:Click the post you want to add a reply on. Scroll down until you see the text box labeled Leave a reply.Type your response. When you are done, click Send. When community members answer your question, you can mark the most helpful reply as the best answer.To mark a reply as the best answer:Navigate to the appropriate post Scroll to the reply you thought was most helpful Click the More actions menuSelect Mark as Best Answer To give someone a like:You can give likes to any posts in the community. To give a like to a message and its author, click the thumbs up icon on the post. If you change your mind about the quality of the message, you can revoke your like. To revoke likes you've given, click the thumbs up icon again.

How To Ask A Question or Start A Conversation We encourage you to first search the community for already posted questions and answers before submitting a new question. However, if you believe your question has not yet been asked, here are some helpful steps to follow for how to ask a good question.There are two discussion content types in the community:Questions are for when you need a solution to help solve your problem. How to Update Your Avatar Image Changing your avatar is an easy way to personalize your community identity. You can change your avatar as often as you like. Your current avatar appears at the top of the Avatar page. To view and update your avatar image, follow the below steps.Click your avatar in the top-right corner. Select My Profile from the dropdown menu. Click Edit Profile. Under the My Profile tab, find Profile Picture and click Edit to add your image. Select Save changes.Note: Image should be at least 90 x 90px. Maximum file size: 5 MB

Within your community profile, you can manage your username, avatar image, notifications, badges, and personal activity.My profileClick your avatar in the top right corner. In the dropdown, select My profile. In your profile header, you can see your username, rank title, join date, user activity stats, and earned badges. Activity, Followers, and Following can be found as you scroll down on your profile page. I like Zoom. It does what it says it's supposed to do. As an instructor, I've used it and taught others how to use it since the very beginning.However, is there a way to disable the Badges feature? I find this extremely annoying because I'm not an employee of Zoom. I have no desire to 'earn' badges or receive praise or acknowledgement for being a customer of a service. Nobody needs to know how long I've been a customer. We have a business related transactional arrangement between myself and Zoom. The dynamic between Zoom and myself is not that of an employer/employee or anything similar. I find it a patronizing and unnecessary feature. Not to mention the expense of maintaining this silly system which gets passed on to the customer. This seems to be everywhere now and it needs to be called out. Thank you for your response to this request.

Hello everyone! I’ve recently joined the Zoom Community and am exploring its features. Could someone guide me on how to make the best use of this platform for troubleshooting issues and staying updated with new Zoom features? Any tips for connecting with other users effectively? Thanks!

I have a Pro  plan with one other user/paid license.  I recently added another user as basic but have not been able to purchase an additional new licenses for them.  The Edit Current plan button is grayed out.  The information button says that has to do with unpaid invoices but there are no outstanding invoices.  Can someone help?
