We don't want our Co-Hosts or Panelists to ever be on camera or mic, nor do we want their profile boxes to be visible to attendees. We only want the Host's box to be visible. Can this be done?
Edited to say this has been resolved. It was a user error (ID10T), so never mind! We are learning how to use Zoom Webinars so have been playing in it via the "Practice Session" feature. Just now, it spontaneously ended after about 10 or 15 minutes (just a guess, didn't time it). Is there a time limit in Practice Session? We would like to be in the Practice Session for a long time while we learn and explore all the feature and settings, while writing a procedure manual for staff. When it ended, the window just closed and the Host got a pop up Zoom box that said something like "this session has ended' or something like that.Any ideas why this happened? Thanks!
I've just signed up for Zoom events and really looking forward to using this (previously, we used Zoom webinars a lot)But I'm having an issue with setting up registration. I would like anyone who receives a link for the event to be able to register. I've added a screenshot to show this, but at the moment, the option to make this event public for anyone with a link is not working.Just to add, I've created a hub and two initial events. My idea is that people will register for the specific event this wish to attend to
I have a webinar license for 1,000 attendees. I would like to set up an alternative host, so they can host the webinar in case I'm not able to. Will this work, even if they don't have a webinar license? Any caveats, or things to keep in mind? Will things like the practice session work for just them? I assume alternative hosts aren't able to edit the webinar? Thank you!
Hi, we are experiencing two issues with webinars but with a similar theme. 1 - Attendees complaining they are not receiving their confirmation email once we have approved them 2 - Panelists not receiving their invite email once we have added their details Does anyone know why this could be happening and what to do to resolve this aside from sending them emails separately to them. We usually have a large number of registrants to webinars so to have to send each one a separate email to confirm will double the time to complete the task so its not really an option. Thanks
I recently purchased a Meta Portal TV device because I could use zoom on a TV without a laptop or phone. However I'm wanting to select the interpretation language being provided by the webinairs I am attending but the zoom app on the Meta portal tv device dose not seem to include the interpretation language selection option as part of it's interface. Is there any way to access the interpretation feature while joining a webinar from the Meta Portal TV device/Zoom app?
Greetings! We are a non-profit in Maine, gearing up to host our first Zoom webinar. We have not yet opened up registration. We've been asked if folks can purchase a ticket as a gift to someone else. Does anyone have experience with this?
I have a webinar embedded in my website using Dowow.tv. For the last four weeks, it worked well and people who logged into the page where it is hosted were able to put in their name and any email (i had all registration and verification turned off). Suddenly, if you try to use the join link through any browser page, it says "This webinar is for authorized attendees only" and if you try to join through the Dowow.tv plugin, it asks for a valid token. WTF happened??
Is there a way/feature to allow participants joining a webinar late to see the previously sent chat messages during the live call?
In a webinar, if a participant accidentally posts a question in the chat box, how can we (hosts and co-hosts) move their question to the Q&A box?
When panelist’s are in the practice session of a webinar, before we start the webinar is there a way to see how many people have already joined, almost like when you have the waiting room on a Zoom meeting? I appreciate when we start the webinar we will start seeing them appear under the participants, but I just wanted to know if this information is known before we start? Thanks
IT IS POSSIBLE TO HIDE THE WEBINAR ID NUMBER FROM THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO REGISTRANTS?
I love that Zoom now has simultaneous language interpretation to offer its users! I work for a non-profit that provides a great deal of webinars in both English & Spanish. When downloading reports I noticed that there is no place, at least that I could find, where I can pull a report on the number of webinar/meeting participants that utilized either language. Does anyone know if Zoom has implemented something like this? Having this data would be very useful to my organization. Does Zoom not keep track of this statistic?
We want our webinar attendees to be able to contribute to both the chat box and the Q&A box, but is there a way for us to delete specific comments if they are offensive or inappropriate? And if so, can Co-Hosts and/or Panelists perform that function? Also, can a specific attendee be muted from the chat box and Q&A box, but still remain an attendee?
Is there anyway to prevent panelist from seeing the list of attendees?
Hi, I have recorded four different webinars attempting to get a gallery view recording but unfortunately every single time it has only recorded shared screen with active speaker. I am using the cloud recording and I have now checked yes to:Record Gallery view with shared screenRecord active speaker, gallery view and shared screen separately - and have only checked yes to gallery view and shared screen. As the host of the meeting I am also viewing the webinar in gallery view. Is there anything else I can do to try to get a recording in gallery view only? Many Thanks

We are working a webinar with two panelists. During the webinar, I'd only like the speaker to show on the screen. I believe this is done through spotlighting and in the recording of the webinar, this is how it is. However, during the webinar, both panelists are appearing on the attendee's view. Does anyone know why this is?
Question: Why can't a meeting and webinar run simultaneously when an alternative host is assigned? Longer description: I am the admin for an organization account. One of our account owners scheduled a meeting that overlapped with a webinar. They assigned an alternative host to start the webinar. The alternative host is a Pro user and has their own webinar license. When the alternative host went to start the webinar, they received a message that a webinar couldn't begin until the active meeting ended. I've read that an account can have two meetings simultaneously as long there is an alternative host for the second.
Hello, we need to host a remote meeting for up to 100 participants. We are unsure if we need a meeting or a webinar. We have to deliver a lot of important information that all participants must be able to see/hear. We may also have a guest speaker and wish to show video and photos to all at the meeting. However, it is important that we can have specific times for Q & A so do not want participants talking over the speaker or each other. If possible we would like 2-5 people to be the main Hosts and for all of the attendees to be able to view the hosts and for the hosts to view all of the participants. We would also like to use a whiteboard if possible to show documentation to all participants. I hope this makes sense and appreciate ant feedback on this request. Thank you.
Hello - this may have been asked previously but I could not find a direct answer. I have a group meeting that requires new registrants to fill out a form. But I would like to be able to add prior attendees as ongoing "permanent guests". Ie I DO NOT want to force everyone to fill out a registration form every time. Ideas?? Thank You!
I recently hosted a webinar via zoom and everything went smoothly, including panelist video/audio. However, when I checked the event cloud recording after it was processed, it was glitchy. The video froze multiple times while the audio played smoothly. This applies to all recording views (Gallery View, Speaker View.. etc). Unsure of the reason why there is a discrepancy between how the webinar went vs webinar recording. I've hosted webinars before with the same recording settings, and the videos have turned out good. What steps would I require to take to prevent such incidents in the future? Is there anyway to re-process the cloud recording? Does the cloud recording quality depend on host-bandwidth? Does CPU/GPU cause any difference?
dear all, I have scheduled a meeting without registration and shared the link already with the audience. Now it seems I need to convert it to a Webinar with registration (as we need to know who attended, name and email). If people will click the initial meeting link without registration, will they be asked for name and email and will be able to join? Or will this not be possible as it is the meeting invite link and will be invalid? warm regardsmarjolijn
In a webinar, can I have panelists and select hosts show up and hide other hosts? And when I say hide, I mean no trace--no black box, name, profile photo. We need one or two cohosts to be behind the scenes, monitoring chat, q&a, etc. These people should not be on view to the attendees.Thank you!
