I need to add Vietnamese as a language option for a langauge channel on zoom. It is not an option when adding interpreters. Has anybody been able to figure this out?

    Hello hloughead1,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

Once Language Interpretation is enabled at the account, user, or group level, you can select or add languages.

    1. Once enabled, the following default 9 languages will be displayed:
      • English
      • Chinese
      • Japanese
      • German
      • French
      • Russian
      • Portuguese
      • Spanish
      • Korean
    2. Click the plus sign (+) symbol to add more languages.
    3. Under Add Language, enter the name of the language you want to add.
    4. Select the language in the drop-down menu.
    5. Click Add.
Once added, the language will be in your list of languages.
Note: While there is not a limit for how many languages you can add, only 5 custom languages can be used in a meeting or webinar at the same time.

    Hello,

I am trying to add Vietnamese as an option in my list of languages for a meeting. I read your post, but I cannot find the "+" in order to add Vietnamese. Is there a video that shows how to do this? Is this something only available through a recent update?

    Thank you!

I am also in a critical need to add Vietnamese translation to Zoom.  If anyone ever figures this out (the above didn't work for me), please email me at ***********.

    Thanks.
