Webinars

I was looking over attendance analytics from our event last year, and I noticed that we had a large number (over 1,000) people who attended 0 sessions and spent 0 minutes in sessions. Since these are considered attendees — not registrants — by Zoom Events, I'm wondering how Zoom Events defines an attendee and what "zero" actually means. 

Hi there, Wondering if someone can help, and explain the difference here. I am comparing 2 of our recent webinars (we are new to using zoom webinars!).. I have pulled both a registration report and an attendee report for both. The attendee report also states the number of 'registrations'. On the 1st webinar report, we have the registration report saying 176, and the attendee report saying we had 159 registrations, and 159 total users.However, the 2nd webinar report, the registration report said 132, and the attendee report said 119, and the total users 148.  I don't understand why the 'registration report number would be different to the number of registrations in the attendee report. And I don't understand how if we had 119 registrations, how the total number of users was 148. Please can someone help explain the nuances between these different stats across the different reports?

Hi does anyone know if I can change my 1 month 1000 attendee webinar subscription  to a 500 attendee webinar subscription the following month? also without losing my scheduled webinar links? Thanks

I have a question I am putting in 5 courses today. I assume I give the live presentation on the date I gave, now I have cloud recordings so I should not have to give that class over and over for 50 days correct people can watch the recordings once I give the course live 1 time. I have mindfulness set for 5-5 Advanced CPR.AED?FIRST AID 5-6 Professional Event Planner 5-8  When I go into submit event planner it says I am giving CPR/AED/FIRST AID at the same time which is 2 days before. Do I have this incorrect?  MY PLAN ALL ALONG WAS TO GIVE THE COURSE 1 TIME FOR THE 50  DAYS AND THEN RECORDING CAN BE AVAILABLE. I CAN'T GIVE THE SAME CLASS FOR 50 DAYS LIVE. I AM ADDING COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR PSYCHOTHERAPY ON 4-11 AND NEURO PATHOLOGY SCIENCE ON APRIL 12. CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I CAN GIVE A LIVE WEBINAR 1 TIME UNTIL 50 DAYS ARE OVER AND I REINSTATE THE COURSE? tHE TICKET FOR NOT GETTING PUBLISHES CAN BE CLOSED BUT I NEED ANSWERS FOR THIS ISSUE. I've been editing the html for our webinar emails, and it's all been working fine. But I had set up the follow-up email to attendees and absentees to go out five days after the webinar – I set this up in both the settings for the specific webinar, and in the Account Manager > Webinar Settings. This was to give me time to add the URL for the recording. However, the email went out the day after the webinar (luckily, I'd put in a holding URL of a link to our YouTube channel).  I've checked and re-checked the settings and they all say five days after the webinar date. Any idea what's going wrong? I know it's almost certain to be user error, but dashed if I can find it.

It does not list out the New Zealand dropdown states and provinces to select from that you do for other countries.  If choose USA it listed all states.  Missing important registration information.  How do we update state/Province for international users?               

Hi, I scheduled a meeting with registration and would like to test the setup with a co-host a few minutes before. What link do I give the co-host to join the meeting? Should I select "allow participants to join anytime"? I want to press the button when we are both ready to start the meeting and then have everyone join. Thanks!

URGENT PLEASE!I AM A PORTUGUESE/ENGLISH INTERPRETER.  ZOOM UPDATED THE LANGUAGE PANEL FOR IT TO BE DISPLACED BY THE INTERPRETER TO HIS/HER DESIRED POSITION WITHOUT BLOCKING PARTICIPANTS' INFO AND I THANK YOU FOR THAT.  HOWEVER, NOW THE ISSUE IS THAT THE LANGUAGE BAR JUMPS AROUND THE SCREEN WHEN THE INTERPRETER SWITCHES LANGUAGES ON THE "SPEAKING TO" CHANNELS (IN MY CASE FROM PT TO ENG AND VICE-VERSA).  THE BAR GETS HIGHLIGHTED IN BLUE ALL AROUND IT AND IT DOES NOT GO BACK TO BLACK IN ORDER TO BE IN A FIXED PLACE.  SO, EITHER YOU FIX THIS BUG, OR PLEASE GO BACK TO WHAT IT WAS.  I LOST A VERY IMPORTANT ASSIGNMENT BECAUSE OF THIS MECHANICAL PROBLEM!

I want to schedule a webinar at not 30 minutes intervalls, how do I do this?

Hey everyone, Have had an issue where in the Zoom webinar practice room, the share sound option is available and works. However, when we start the webinar, the share sound option becomes greyed out. Have checked that only single user sharing is selected at the moment. And no one is sharing at the same time.  Any ideas? thank you

I work in IST timezone.But when I am sending the webinar invites to all, it is still showing up as India time instead of time zone as per their location. Can someone help here.

I would like to invite about a hundred prospects to a zoom a month from now. We will pre-record the presentation and the attendees will not be able to see the other attendees. Can anybody provide advice on how to do this? I have never done this before.Thanks, DD

I am using a mounted external PTZ camera for a hybrid zoom conference. The camera is a 3X and from where it will be positioned in the room, and at maximum zoom, it does not frame the speaker as close as I would like. Is there a way  to digitally zoom-in or crop and resize the live video image in the Zoom Events platform before it goes out to those streaming the conference?  

I am hosting a one day hybrid multi-session 7-speaker (each speaker is a different session) event on 3.25.23 and am unable to figure out how to start a practice session. I have searched out available info and am told to "start" the session in the lobby but I cannot see where to do that.  I assume my lobby is live but am unsure how to verify that.  I am super stuck and REALLY wanting to figure out the practice session to make sure that audio and video feed to zoom is working properly...can anyone advise me on this?  Thanks, Corrie

Hello, For my organization, I set up webinars. Of course, I send the invite containing the registration link to the internal targeted audience. During the event, I noticed that the some names appear repeatedly, one of which appeared even 17 times. Usually we encourage the audience to cascade the invite. I understand from a previous post that "each participant should use the meeting link that they will receive on their email after they register on your meeting and not share the meeting link" and honestly I think this is happening already. Only the registration link is cascaded, and not the meeting link received afterwards.  Moreover, the Zoom support contact we have for our company said that those repeated names should be taken into account only once, as it is just a displaying error of Zoom, thus when building my reports I should consider only the unique viewers, and not the total users. 

Zoom says, "over 100" participants for a Webinar, but what if less than 100 join, can you still use the webinar functions?  I have Zoom Pro now, but an upcoming meeting has filled up and I want to allow more people in so I'm considering an upgrade.  However, in the future, I may only have 50-60 people in a webinar.  Can I put on a "webinar" with less than 100 or would that be considered a "meeting"?  

We currently use GoToWebinar who offer a simulated live option so that you can pre-record a webinar but then set it up to broadcast at the date and time of your choosing so that it appears live. Is this a feature available on Zoom webinar? I can't see anything that suggests it is.
