Webinars

We require certain fields when registering for our webinars (e.g., country, state, school, title). But when we disseminate a non-anonymous, post-webinar satisfactory survey, the survey results don't provide those fields along with the person's name and email. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello,Is there any way to customize how the webinar follow up emails look? The ones that are send out after a webinar is over?  

In the instructions for launching a poll here, it states that when you launch a poll in the Zoom webinar, you can click the ellipsis icon in order to optionally allow panelists to vote in polls. In a recent Zoom update, this option has seemed to have disappeared. I can't find the option to allow panelists to vote in polls in Zoom webinars anymore. Does this option still exist, and if so, where can I find it?

Is there any way to modify the 'My Webinars' screen to show the number of registered people for each webinar? Otherwise, I have to open the webinar, and scroll down to the bottom to see if someone registered. I know that I can bring up a report and get the information also, but both of these are very time consuming. By just going to the 'My Webinars' screen, it could show me if there are any registrations for an event. That way I wouldn't have to start a webinar if no one registered.

I have set up a Zoom webinar and have some custom questions to be answered like what country they reside in and their WhatsApp number.  When I download the registration, the file only shows their name and email address.  How can I collect the other information on each participant?

Hi,  I'm hosting a webinar in Hebrew, a language that is not supported by Zoom centrally, but is included as a language for subtitles. I would like the preview text and description of the webinar to be written in the correct format, which is from right to left. How do I do that?Thanks!

I need some advice. We are hosting a live event via webinar and due to ADA requirements need to allow closed captions. The only way I can figure out how to have closed captions for a live webinar is to manually enter the captions. This is not doable for us due to the event being hours long for two days. Does anyone have any recommendations on setting or third party apps that we could use to have automatic closed captions set up for during a live event and not just for the recording?Thank you!

Hi, How can we enable the Breakout rooms in the Zoom webinar? Hi! I have a paid (Pro) Zoom account.I have a few questions about basic (unpaid) users on this account:1. What is the maximum meeting duration for basic users for 1-to-1 sessions? Is there a 40min timeout for 1-to-1 meetings for basic users? 2. Can two or more basic users on a Pro account host different meetings at the same time (simultaneously)? Thanks! Best, Anait

HiIs it possible to have a video playing prior to people joining a Webinar, rather than the text your Webinar will start soon ??

If I ensure that people can only chat with hosts - I assume that no one else on the webinar will see their responses? And assume this is the case if we record the session - I want to protect people's privacy so that they feel safe responding to my questions.

how long will the zoom webinar registration link be valid, because I need to book a meeting in September, and record it to an Excel file, and send it out to others, I hope that link lasts forever until the webinar ends, that would make sense.And I searched Zoom database, no related answers, please help me with this, it means a lot to me.Thank you.

How do you activate the free webinars?  

I can not seem to figure out how to add additional speakers to the webinar that I have already created and made a link for. Can someone help me figure this out please. 

Before the last webinar we hosted through Zoom, we enabled several new webinar recording settings. Some of these new settings we "checked" included:A shared screen fileSeparate audio files for each participantSign language interpretationAudio transcriptHowever, none of these appeared in the recorded files provided by Zoom after the webinar. I went back to the settings to make sure they were checked, thinking that maybe they didn't save, but they were in fact still "checked," so I can't figure out why we didn't get the additional recordings. Is it possibly because we changed the settings after we had scheduled the webinar, so they didn't apply towards it? Please help! Thank you!

How can I syncronized a scheduled zoom meeting with a facebook event ?

During our most recent webinar (settings which we believe were copied from previous webinars), the video in the recorded version (saved as a local file on our computer) did not match what we saw on our screen.  We like to expand our video thumbnail so we take up extra space. This has worked perfectly in the past, however with this webinar, the recorded version only showed a small thumbnail rather than our correct, larger, resized thumbnail.  I have included 2 images of our webinar to this note. The first (correct) webinar from earlier this year, and the second from our most recent webinar with the smaller thumbnail. While we were recording, the smaller thumbnail was "properly" sized to take up the entirety of the top right corner, exactly as it was recorded on the earlier good recording, however when we saw the final recording the most most recently webinar, the video thumbnail was substantially smaller (as seen in the image included). Thanks! 

Hello,We use a meeting Owl to provide video of our monthly meetings.  I've started recording them for upload on a site.  During the last meeting, the audio became muffled right after a virtual participant spoke and it stayed muffled for the rest of the meeting, which was not discovered until I listened to the recording.Any idea on what to check?  I do not think it is my laptop speaker drivers.  Could a dip in our wi fi create a muffled sound that never recovered?  We have fast, fiber wi fi....I was also using the laptop running the Zoom to take minutes in MicroSoft Word but don't know if that could have affected anything...Thanks for any trouble shooting tips! 

Ive gathered around 300+ emails from hosting a webinar (with registration). Cant find any info if I'm allowed to contact them further after the webinar like adding them to my newsletter.  Have they agreed to receive marketing communications or not?

Hello, when i try to upload a recording with 350MB in the Event Site from Zoom i get the error that the maximum file size is at 50MB. I found in the Guides that the limit should be at 5GB. How can i get the bigger limit? Or is there a other way to upload content for simulive webinars?Best regards Alex

More than 100 people registered for a Meeting and so I upgraded the plan to allow for 500 attendees to a Webinar. Can I convert the same meeting to a webinar so the registrants use the same link?
