I've been trying to help someone with an Android wanting to join our webinar as a panelist with a unique linkHe gets a screen with a Launch button half hidden and can only join via a browser.This works , but his volume is low and of course not as many features.Anyone come across this before? He uses zoom often on his android and has never had a problem.When we tried a regular meeting link it worked fine. Webinar unique link ... can only join via browser. Tried restarting phone - same results I didn't gather more info as I didn't want to take up too much of his time - and we have a work around - joining via the browser with headphones seems to work sufficiently.I'm just left puzzledThanks Massimo

We hosted a webinar today. User A was the main host, and User B was assigned within the webinar set up interface as the alternate host. User B received the email from zoom with the note about being an alternate host.  When User B tries to click on the Start Webinar button, it says you must sign in as the host to start the webinar. That clearly defeats the purpose of an alternate host being able to start things. And would require you to log in with User A's credentials, which is what we ended up doing.  User B also tried to just simply join the webinar using the reminder email. That didn't work either.  Any experience here on how to solve these challenges? Thanks. 

Does anyone know if there are any reporting stats available for the webinar waiting room? For instance, if we wanted to see how many people viewed the waiting room video and for how long, is there a way to access that information?

I searched in the Community. I do not see a "hosted by" in my even configure page. I am setting up a webinar and it is showing my personal name for the event organizer. I need it to show the Company name.

Hi, Is it possible to change the speed of comments in a zoom chat with 800 people? We hold a monthly webinar and it is primarily to provide information and to answer questions. Our events usually have 500-800 viewers and the chat moves very quickly. Is there a way to slow the movement of the chat so we can easily see questions?

I just did a meeting and recorded it, the recording NEVER showed me talking. The people DID see me while I talked. The only thing "off" I notice is that MY personal setting was to gallery view not speaker. 

Hi, in my Event configuration I have selected the option to record the event directly when the event is started. It should be stored on my local PC. But, when the event is really startet, the recording doesn't start as expected. Starting it manually was working. But I expected it to be started automatically. Is there any setting I have missed?  Best RegardsBjörn

Hello,Yesterday I had a webinar using Zoom Events. In the settings, I had explicitly switched on that the recording should take place locally and immediately at the start of the event.I relied on that. Unfortunately.At the end of the webinar, only the chat was saved. Nothing more. So why is this setting there if it doesn't work? Is there still a chance to access the recording? GreetingsBjörn 

How can I provide a "direct" link for those who prefer not to register, similar to how it is typically done in webinars without a registration requirement? I would like to have this link available for sharing with colleagues, especially for those who do not need to register. 

How can I see what the limit is for number of participants for a zoom webinar with my account plan? Under the invitations tab, it says 'Webinar size: 3000 attendees' is this the limit of participants or the limit of registrants or is it the same thing? I assume zoom wouldn't let that many people register if they couldn't all attend. I have 775 registered so far which is more than we have had before so I just wanted to double check they will all be able to attend. Thanks 

Hi, in February we live-streamed educational programs from San Ignacio Lagoon, Mexico into classrooms across the country. We used an iPhone, Starlink and Zoom Webinar. We want to do another program using multiple camera inputs including a drone. Is there a software program that we can use to manage these different feeds and then feed into Zoom, other than Zoom's share screen? Thanks

Hello ! I recently bought a streaming deck. I can't find the keyboard shortcut to change the active language when interpreting an event on Zoom. I've found a post from 2023 which suggests some shortcuts, but they don't work. One of them actually enables screen sharing. I'd really appreciate your help.

Please help! I got this email 3 hours ago.  "Your paid subscription has previously expired. Your cloud recordings are now being deleted from our systems." I forgot to download the recordings of my webinars when I unsubscribed. Are they gone forever, or if I pay for webinar again ($111 / month) could I get them back?Anything i can do to stop my webinars from being deleted? Thank you!@Webinars 

Hi,Does anyone have experience selling in zoom expo booths? My sponsors are e.g. publishers and artists and would like to take orders and payments while in their booth. How would the customer have access to any payment method, or an outside link? Would that have to be individually communicated via chat to each customer or downloaded in a .pdf? Maybe these links could be listed somewhere in an online reference?Any ideas are welcome.Thanks,Lis 

Hi,  I added a question to the pre registration page but it is not showing up on the registration page.  I checked both boxes for the zip code i.e. required and  enabled fields but when I try and register with another email address it zip code does not appear. Thanks for your help.

I am running v6.1.1 of the Linux client and have recently encountered an issue where the "Start Webinar" button disappears once I start sharing a video.  This has worked for me for years so I am wondering what changed.

When I organise a webinar, Zoom won't send me a meeting to my integrated calendar, but I have it in Zoom scheduled meetings. Zoom doesn't send me any email about the meeting unless I delete it.  Has anybody experienced a similar issue? I don't want to make a copy of it just for myself.

Hi! We used to Record to Computer our webinars and the layout was set to show the shared screen (i.e. a ppt presentation that occupied 3/4 of the monitor) and the speaker's video (a thumbnail size sitting next to the presentation).  Something's changed recently on Zoom (an update?) and the speaker's video shows on the top-right hand corner of the monitor, over the shared screen, then it disappears, only to display the shared screen. We tested the following scenarios:Host = Sharing screen = SpeakerHost = Sharing screen = Not the speaker Has anyone got any advice?  Thanks for your support,  AM

A webinar speaker added and joined by the speaker quick link but he couldn't see or access Backstage. I was able to access the Backstage, but the speaker joined straight in the Webinar area and didn't have the option for Backstage. How do I make sure all speakers have access to Backstage? UPDATE: answer given below is not correct for my problem. I am talking about a person not the hardware on my computer. UPDATE 2: this was solved by the speaker updating their Zoom to the newest version. He initially thought it was up-to- date but found that his computer's security had actually prevented his Zoom app from updating.

I host a webinar with a survey set up at the end of the session every month, and I can usually download the Attendee Report and Survey Results. However, nothing shows up when I filter a date on Step 2: Choose a Webinar this time. Would you be able to help me with this?      

Couple of questions for a webinar - We are trying to embed the zoom registration form in our landing page- The registration form will have First NameLast nameEmailCompanyWe will have 5 sessions mentioned on this form each happening every second week the same time. Can the attendee click on the session they would like to attendIf yes, will the attendee receive say three (depending on the session) they attend separate links as calendar invites - their unique link. Please advise.

Is is possible to reschedule or duplicate a past webinar AND keep the existing registered participants? I want to assure that those who have registered will still have access to the event. If the date is changed to the new date are updated notifications sent? Thank you

All, I am hosting a 3 day virtual event in August.  I'll have 130ish participants.  I need a space for multiple hosts to have access and the ability to divide participants into breakout rooms throughout the event.  I see that I have options of Zoom webinar or Zoom session.  Ideas of which could accommodate these needs??  Thanks for any help!
