Given the glaring absence of call control for Zoom Appliances, I've been experimenting with a Yealink SipT31G.  Whilst both of the above functions do what they say on the tin, there doesn't seem to be any way to have both enabled at the same time.  If i have call control enabled, I can click dial from my Zoom client, just the way I did with Skype for Business.  If I then start a meeting (with call control still enabled), the line key assigned for Zoom meetings stays green.  However, if I disable call control, then start a meeting, the assigned line key turns red and I can use it to join the audio portion of the meeting from the phone.Am I missing something?  Functionality wise, it seems that we have gone backward from where we were.  None of these were an issue with Skype!  Frustration levels are high at the moment - we're trying to provide a seamless experience for our users, but it just seems as though the 'unified' element is missing.&nbs

Does zoom provide function that support displaying Unique Caller id when making outbound call to any carrier phone number?

Hello! Who among you use Zoom phone? Is it a possible that our customer can contact our Zoom phone number even they are not on Zoom. Thanks 🙂 

I use multiple mobile devices, IPad and Iphone. I have the app downloaded on both and i stay logged in on both. I use my phone for calls and my Ipad for meetings. How can I stop every device from ringing when I get a call through Zoom? it is very disrupting to have every device ringing in the house. 

hi I have same problem too. I use one phone number when I add another number with another user in first 10 minutes both phones work after 10 minutes both not work and in topic write text like in picture. "Your Account is inactive, please contact admin." I go admin panel Zoom everything is ok status active. I assigned 2 and 3 days. I wait and think its it maybe Zoom issue but still not working . I can't connect with number zoom support to solve the problem. Please what should I do what I do wrong . When I research in google there say two things "The admin may need to assign a Zoom Phone license or calling plan." but its ok I check many times... so what should I do. Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to program the dedicated Messages key(voicemail icon) on the Poly VVX 450 to retrieve voicemails from a different extension? We are using a shared extension (extension 900) for voicemails and would like all the phones to connect to this extension when pressing the dedicated Messages key. Is there a way to do this? The "Keys & Positions" section of the Zoom Phone portal doesn't seem to offer this Messages key as configurable. I have seen this discussion from Googling:https://support.onsip.com/hc/en-us/articles/203706354-Polycom-Messages-Button-Direct-Dial-to-Voice-MailboxIs there a way to adapt this method to Zoom Phone on the Poly VVX 450?

This perhaps is more of a suggestion/product feature request than getting an answer, but we have a team of 5 support engineers that answer calls in a rotating queue after business hours, all on Pacific time. One of our engineers likes to work late and is okay taking calls in the late evening, and one of our engineers likes to start early and can take calls early in the morning. However, in the rotation, we're all taking calls at all hours. Is there a way for our engineers to somehow place themselves as the first call in the queue during the late night and morning hours? As first priority, their number would always be called first, and if they aren't able to answer, would proceed through the normal rotation. Once they take themselves off, it would be the normal rotation where the calls are distributed evenly. Ideally, this would probably look like a hybrid sequential followed by rotating call queue.

Our current plans are US/Canada Unlimited Calling, UK/Ireland Unlimited Calling, and a Pay As You Go Plan.I have a US based user requesting to have both the US and UK unlimited calling plan. Can that user be assigned both plans and numbers from each respective country and conduct phones calls as if they're originating in each domestic market and not be charged under the Pay As You Go Plan.

Working on my pilot location for desk phones.  Phone type is Poly VVX2501st setup phone in Phone & Devices, Powered up phone and allowed it to go through the provisioning processAfter many reboots it came up and displays and operates the way it should. Now I am wanting to a change the phone to a static IP, so Home>Settings > Advanced, tried both 456 & 789 as passwords and says it is wrong.Factory reset phone, change password to 789 during setup, After provisioning completes, the phone comes online operates correctly but will not take the 789 password. What am I missing?

Wonder if somebody can shed some light on my question please. We've setup the system to email us each morning the previous days call totals for each user. What are the totals under completed calls made up from as we having issues with some users numbers not balancing up.  Outgoing and Received = Total. But the other columns doesn't add to completed. Please see picture below:

I have a free Zoom account and just purchased a Zoom Phone plan. I've been searching help articles but literally can't figure out how to make a phone call using Zoom Phone. Maybe I don't have a full understanding of what this feature allows you to do but my goal was to be able to setup a conference call with team members then make an outbound prospecting call and have my team members listen in. I believe I have everything setup. Is there supposed to be a phone icon somewhere? I read in one article that there should be a "phone" menu at the top of the Zoom meeting window but I do not have it. HELP PLEASE!!!!

We just switched to Zoom phone and are used to having a lot more pre-set availability options. Is it possible to set up custom statuses, such as out to lunch or In a meeting. I know it will show in a meeting when booked with zoom but we frequently have in office meetings and would like to be able to put that without changing our personal note each time.

We are looking at migrating from on-premise Skype for Business 2015 to Zoom phones.  We have a large number of AudioCodes phones that can be reflashed back to stock images (as listed in Zoom). When provisioning as Zero Touch (factory reset), the device indicates that the Firmware URL and accompanying Configuration URLs do not exist (Configuration file was not found): - Firmware URL: https://provacp.zoom.us/api/v2/pbx/provisioning/AudioCodes/420HD.img- Configuration URL: https://provacp.zoom.us/api/v2/pbx/provisioning/AudioCodes/420hd/<MAC>.cfg <-- this is different than what the configuration site suggests (Zoom Phone provisioning drops the 420hd subdir, but we have tried it both ways) Has anyone successfully connected an AudioCodes (or Yealink) to Zoom?  Support cl

I have a use case where I need to pass callerid parameter in the URI scheme to initiate outgoing call from zoom user's custom number instead of the assigned zoom number. So the callerid parameter is mandatory.     zoomphonecall:+1234?callerid=+56789The above URI scheme works from desktop web app but when I use the same from web android it says invalid phone number.

Hi There, We're in the process of setting up Zoom Phone for our Sales Team and we're struggling to get the Recording of calls to capture under the activity in Salesforce.  We have turned on Auto Record for the users, however, when we head to the record and try to replay the call it brings up the following error message 'This call log does not have recording!'  However, the recording is saved in Zoom Call Logs as seen. and the call is pulling to other third-party software such as Gong.  Any help or advice from Zoom-Salesforce experts would be really helpful on what we are missing here!  Thanks! Chris 

Using a Poly VVX 250. I've got the outgoing countries set and all works fine on the app. I can call out to anywhere I need. However, I get the following message when trying to make outgoing calls on my poly phone: "Sorry, we cannot complete your call. Your service plan does not support calling to this destination"

We have a user that has changed the ringtone for all options.  His 2 direct lines, his ext, and his meeting.  When he is called through a call queue that is he part of it outputs the "default" ringtone instead of the selected one.  Is this some setting on the call queue I do not see?

I can't seem to find out how to get a Zoom Phone number.   I can see the various plans, I can see info about porting an existing number, but nothing about getting a new number (much like a Skype number).Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Currently, our POTS provider has a switchboard for us which handles calls. This allows our receptionist to see which lines are busy and answer a ringing call for any phone within the organization. BLF covers the first part. The second seems to be more complicated.  We’ve tried call monitoring and call queues but they’re not quite what I’m looking for.  There isn't an option to answer a ringing call with monitoring. Call queues rings all phones at the same time which isn't ideal for our scenario. I basically just want the receptionist to be able to see a line is ringing and if she knows it's not going to get picked up she can answer it herself.  For example, if my phone is ringing. The receptionist and see that my phone is ringing with BLF and knows I'm not available to take the call. She can then take the call for me.

I work remotely with my personal laptop and am not able to make calls with Zoom, when I try to dial a number (via accessing my work system with a remote desktop program) an error pops up on Zoom saying "No available audio device.  Check if your devices are properly connected."  Given I don't have a microphone attached to my computer at the office, I need Zoom to connect the call which would then hopefully allow me to switch the call to my cell phone.  Is this possible or does not having a mic at the base computer at the office essentially block me from using Zoom?We previously used Ring Central, I would click a number on my database, it would begin dialing on Ring Central (via my office computer), on the RC app on my cell phone it would have a pop up saying switch to this device.  I would click that and then I was able to take calls on my cell phone.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

We are new Zoom Phone users.  Things are generally OK but users are complaining that contacts that are entered into the Poly VVX-411 phones are randomly lost.  That is to say all local contacts are completely wiped out unexpectedly and seemingly randomly. I assume that is because the phones are periodically restarting and they are not sync'd with the Zoom server, but it certainly could be something else. Have tried researching the issue and saw a possible cause could be a blocked port on our firewall  preventing the contacts from syncing with Zoom - but no details on what port to look for.Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot is greatly appreciated.Thank you.
